First of all, this place is way overpriced. For almost ten dollars that cinnamon bun better be the best I've ever tasted. Instead, I got a very dry bun with so much icing on top and some fruits. I guess the icing is to make up for the dryness? But it doesn't work well. The icing itself tastes very weird, leaves a bad aftertaste long after you're done eating. I understand it is vegan so they must use a butter substitute, maybe that's it. Service wasn't the greatest either, being friendly and fake are totally different and people can detect that. This place has me in a chokehold, in the best way possible! Being plant based is a nice bonus but honestly not the biggest draw for me. I got the Caramel Apple Pie cinnamon roll and my goodness, it is better than any other place out there. The ingredients taste fresh and they do not skimp on toppings. They have such a variety of premade rolls but you also have the option to build your own, literally endless possibilities. For what you get, the price reflects that. Here's what could make this tiny, unique shop score more stars: the atmosphere - it's boring inside, and uncomfortable. Teeny tables squeezed along the galley near the counter. Some of the tables would work better in the corner where the drink case is. Some colorful posters featuring the different treats would warm up this otherwise "sterile" shop. Next: service - the two people behind the counter didn't want to be there, apparently. No welcome, no smile, when I asked for some utensils, she just pointed to the table near the beverage case. I found forks, but no knives to cut the pastry, so we made do. A friend of mine said, they do have knives but I wasn't told that by the young girl who worked there. VERY SWEET TREAT! Found this dessert shoppe in passing after grabbing food at a nearby restaurant. The setup inside is super cute and quaint. It's very clean and organized. There are so many options to create your own cinnamon roll and cookie. I decided to try the Very Berry Roll (raspberry jam, blueberry, strawberry, cake batter icing, raspberry drizzle and powdered sugar on top). It was very sweet but delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor combinations. The only downside was that parts of my cinnamon roll were very hard and so I had to eat around those parts. The inside was mostly soft. I just tried this place for the first time, and let me say it was fantastic! So many options to choose from, you can basically get anything you want. The woman at the counter was so friendly and helpful and just overall had a great attitude. This place is vegan, so you can eat the cookie dough raw. I had the cookie monster and my bf had the churro roll with icing on the side. They were big fresh and hot. If you love sweets you will love this place. So many different options. I got aregular Cinnabon and I also got a banana blueberry Cinnabon as well as the banana chocolate chip bread when I tell you, everything is good, everything is good! I hate to say it, but places like these leave me disappointed. When my mind tells me "this will be great!" My stomach is not in agreement . You have hundreds of choices so why wouldn't a crème brûlée Oreo satisfy my taste buds? The answer is that it is unfortunately too sweet. Overall the product is average but I have been here twice with my dream cinnamon bun and I might stick to something more lowkey next time. The closest thing I can think of when it comes to the bread is Italian bread at Olive Garden. It's not soft and buttery like you would get from Cinnabon or Cinnamonster in Chesterfield Town Center. The familiar faces who made this place special are no longer there, or their hours have changed, and the overall vibe has shifted in a disappointing way. It's especially disheartening to see longtime staff replaced, seemingly to make room for the owners' friends, rather than maintaining the experienced team that helped build customer loyalty in the first place.
