Our server came right over and got our drink order. When she returned with the drinks we placed our order and I went to wash my hands. When I came back, the order was already on the table!! I had the two egg breakfast with extra crispy bacon and they were both cooked to perfection! I also opted to upgrade the two pancakes to strawberry pancakes. I should have gotten a picture! Covered in strawberries and cream, the obviously from scratch pancakes were to die for!! But let me back up and talk about the eggs. Most restaurants these days use med eggs...on a good day. These eggs were SO big! Hubby ordered his over easy. They had to be jumbo eggs! They were so incredibly yummy! Oh but let's not forget the tea! We often drink unsweet tea when we are out and it's rather astonishing how few places actually have really great tea. This place however, just amazing!! We opted to have a cup to go also! But just as important as the food, or maybe more so, is the service. Hands down the best service we have experienced in a very long time!! The gravy needs some salt and pepper because it was pretty bland. The mashed potatoes and collards were excellent. The kid had quesadilla and liked it.
