Every single person was wearing gloves which is fine but the all touched all over their faces and never once changed gloves. The food was very good. The service was not that great. It took approximately 15 minutes or thereabouts just to get someone to take the drink order. I would understand if the place was packed, but there were only customers at approximately 3 tables. After we received the drinks we placed our order and it came out wrong. So it's 7:49 and we're walking out with our food in boxes. We've been sitting in the non- crowded restaurant since a little after 6pm. I can't even tell you if the food is worth the hour and a half wait or not, because by the time I get it home to eat its going to be cold. The server was sweet and apologetic. The server said he would bring bread, but it felt like he forgot. Eventually he brought it, so it may hace just been that they had to wOt for a new batch to be done - he didn't say. The food was delicious and quick. Service was friendly and parking was sufficient (Just watch out for a rush because they can get busy). Our order was missing 1 side per meal the dessert was a tiny portion even for a child.

First time we went in they said 20 min wait. 45 mins later we were still not seated. We tried two nights later with door dash. Half our order came in and the other half was half way done and messy. I visited the Spring location today for lunch,now this was my first time to the Cotton Patch it had been suggested by my mother, well I tell you I hade the Lunch Chicken fried steak with rice brock.Side and i also tried the fried green tomatoes, I absolutely love it all its, put CrackerBarrel to sham and i love the Crackerbarrel. This was my first time to eat at Cotton Patch, as I walked in I was greeted and sat down quickly. As I looked at the menu I noticed most meals consist of deep fried items so if you are staying away from carbs there is nothing for you here :-) I was craving fried catfish but the photo on the menu showed two very small pieces on a bed of fries for $12 (not a good value) I decided to try the Rib eye steak that was on special for $15.99 and when it came out I was very disappointed. The cut was approximately 3/8" thick which as you can guess was overcooked and no taste. This also came with a very small baked potato and I ordered the Squash which was inedible due to some sort of fibrous material in it that did not resemble squash. Yes I realize this was my first try but I think after observing the other food items that the quality of food could be compared to dining in a school cafeteria but paying premium prices. Just moved to the area and drive past this place a few time and decided to bring my family here. Service was good and friendly. This place style of food reminds me of Black Eyed Pea. I got the chicken fried steak and was happy with my choice, my dad got the chicken fried chicken, which he enjoy but he did receive the incorrect side order. My partner got the grilled chicken and shrimp which was good. I don't recommend them. We visited about a month after they opened, my husband and I came in we were told it was going to be a 20 minute wait. We were ok with it but when a couple just walked in and were seated before anyone that was already waiting, that was not ok. We all questioned and when we asked the hostess she claimed she forgot we were there. really? Forgot that two couples were waiting? The parking situation was a joke, and we had to drive around for about 10 minutes to find a spot, and wait for someone to leave, before we could park. When we finally were seated, it took about 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us, and by the time we got our food we weren't impressed. My okra was cold and under cooked, sorry I'm a tough critic, because I'm a chef. We weren't given any bread and the chicken fried stake, which we were told was their signature dish, was under cooked also and the breading had no flavor. When I asked to speak to a manager, he or she never came, and we ended up leaving. We gave them another chance about two weeks ago, and still not nothing has changed. Opinion didn't change. Had the catfish and it was cold. The mash potatoes were undercooked. Food took too long to get to us. It wasn't busy at all. I was told by corporate to contact them by facebook, and they didn't contact me back, so I will not be returning or giving them a third chance, since both times have not been the best experience. read more

I wrote a review when this restaurant first opened. The first review depicted the managers as whiny, and the restaurant not on its A-Game. After further consideration, I realized I may have been a little harsh. So I decided to give them another shot. And I was right to give them a piss-poor review at the beginning, nothing changed! 1. When I ordered, the to-go station was sticky, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. 2. The attendant at the To-Go area needs a hell of a lot more training, and needs to learn how to talk on the phone and take an order PROPERLY, how to greet customers properly, check the order for accuracy before handing it to a customer and most importantly... to put the phone down at work. 3. The manager staff really needs to focus on customers, folks its customer service 101: give the customer a smile, say hello, even if they have already been greeted, and EVEN if you are busy. 4. When building a hamburger, the proper way of assembling is as follows: lower 1/2 of the bun, Cheese or patty, and then the fixings, i.e. lettuce tomatoes and onions then the top part of the bun... Mine... the lower bun was so soggy its literally apart, and water from the fixings was draining out. 5. Parking is still a "b" with an itch. 6. Oh and the To-Go items took 20 minutes to receive. Service was a bit slow and not overly attentive but my chicken fried steak and garlic mashed potatoes were excellent and definitely worth returning for. The bread and butter before the meal were pretty standard but nice to get the meal started and even better...free! The baked squash was decent but I'd probably try another side next time. The cups are either too small or the service needs to be a little faster on the refills. There were 2 times that the majority of our table needed refills and waited for a while to get it. Overall a pretty great meal with a little room for improvement with the service. (Although the servers were pleasant....just not really on top of things.) The worst dinner and service I've had since this location opened.. The waitress could careless about our table I had to ask for dinner rolls and it went down from there.. My daughter seen our waitress smelling a liquor bottle after the Manager opened it.. My food was lukewarm at best and my daughters fish tacos were so watery.. Cotton Patch put on a good show when they first opened but I definitely will not be returning so disappointed at how quickly they turned to a downward slope..
