This was my first time visiting Red Lobster, and overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience. We were part of a larger group (8), so we expected service to be a little slower than normal, but it felt excessively slow throughout the meal. We were seated immediately, which was great, but it took about 15 minutes before our waitress first came by. We placed our food order right away, yet it took around 45 minutes to receive water and drinks. The food itself arrived a little over an hour after we ordered. I ordered the Endless Shrimp and got to try several of the options. The Garlic Shrimp Scampi was easily the best of the bunch. It was buttery, flavorful, and the shrimp were cooked much better than the other varieties. I also tried the Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, Coconut Shrimp, and Marry Me Shrimp. While some of the toppings and sauces were enjoyable, I found many of the shrimp to be overcooked. The Coconut Shrimp had a nice sweetness but was dry, and the Alfredo was noticeably salty. The coleslaw tasted off and wasn't something I could finish. I was also surprised by the famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I'd heard people rave about them, but they were just okay in my opinion and didn't live up to the hype. One disappointment was that they ran out of Walt's Famous Shrimp at around 6:30 PM, which seemed odd considering it's one of their signature items. Unfortunately, we were unable to try it. Overall, there were a few bright spots, particularly the Garlic Shrimp Scampi, but between the long wait times, inconsistent food quality, and running out of a popular menu item, this wasn't a meal that left much of an impression. read more

Me and my husband went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant only had 2 other tables besides us and the staff still managed to mess up my order. The waitress initially got my order wrong so I had to wait for them to remake it and when it came out again, the chicken was undercooked so I sent it back and opted to not order anything else since my husband was finished eating by then. The manager and server apologized and told me they would accommodate us by taking my plate off the bill. I was crazing some cheddar biscuits, so off to Red Lobster we went. Unfortunately, with all of the recent closings, the closest one to us is in The Woodlands. To get there, we had to brave a wreck on 99 and Friday evening traffic on 45. But it was well worth it. We were greeted warmly by the hostesses and were a ke to be seated right away. As for the food, the biscuits were fresh out of the oven, the stuffed mushrooms were as delicious as I remember, and the Ultimate Feast we shared was quite tasty with plenty of food for two people. Our server, Barb C., was awesome! We had a bit of a hiccup with our baked potato, which she resolved quickly so we could continue with our meal. Viva la "Secret Menu"! I have grown increasingly fond of red lobster since it was purchased by a conglomerate from thailand. They really know seafood and they've turned the place around completely. Please ignore any reviews of the past under previous ownership because this is really are an entirely new restaurant. Today, we ordered from the secret menu during their shrimp and lobster fes and we got a beautiful lobster tail, a bowl of sauteed shrimp and a side for 20 dollars. And it was really just exceptionally well done. I've paid twice as much for less. I do recommend you join their frequent diner club and get their emails because these specials are sent to you that way along with things like 10 percent off your bill or other perks. read more

Probably one of the worst experiences at Red Lobster, and I can credit it to the waitress we had, Barbara. Spent about 40 minutes waiting for a shrimp seaside trio and a plate of linguini alfredo. My wife asked if she could have the plate of linguini alfredo with shrimp on the side, Barbara had no interest in going to the kitchen and asking if it's doable. We spent 40 minutes waiting on food and she had no interest in refilling our waters once or another round of biscuits the entire time. Not even a simple update on our food is coming out. The woman clearly has no interest in working there and while Red Lobster's quality has also gone down, she certainly isnt helping improve the customer experience what so ever. The food is what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. Is it the best food? No. Is it the worst? No, but it's something that you'd find yourself craving from time to time regardless of the fact. Unfortunately, we were sat at a dirty table. The table and seats had leftover crumbs and some liquid was on the seat. I asked the hostess for a towel for the table/seat. She grabbed a wad of napkins to brush off the crumbs and gestured for me to sit. I declined and asked for the napkins, wet them using my water bottle, and wiped down the seat myself as she walked away. Rough start. Fortunately, Barbara ended up being our server. Let me start off by saying Ms.Irene that was our waiter was amazing times ten! One of the kindest waiters I have had in so long. I decided to visit this location after having a bad experience at the location on 1960. The restaurant was very clean. Advertisement was displayed very well for specials they were having. The server also mentioned up deals that were happening. We started off with appetizers the biscuits were smoking hot like super fresh! So delicious! The wait time was quick! Soon as we finished the biscuits our " ultimate endless shrimp" deal had arrived at the table! Every dish was completely hot and fresh! We didn't even have enough room for dessert. As a little kid I've always seen commercials of red lobster and never been. Not a bucket list item but thought it should be done. We went in on Friday. Hostess was SUPER RUDE. It's been a minute since I last went to Red Lobster and I don't know why because their Ultimate Endless Shrimp deal is AMAZING!!! The hubby and I had an early dinner during the week so there really wasn't a wait before we were seated. The booths were very spacious and comfortable. Our waitress, Christina, greeted us right away. She mentioned the specials. Btw-they have great drink specials for happy hour. She took our drink and appetizer orders and brought us the complimentary cheddar biscuits. They are delicious. Try not to fill up on them and save room for the appetizers and entrees. It's hard not to but try. Our drinks and appetizer came out in a timely manner. We then placed our order for the Ultimate Endless Shrimp. You start with choosing 2 kinds from the 5 options. You also get a side & they have plenty to choose from. Our shrimps came out just as we finished the delicious appetizer-Seafood stuffed mushrooms. Perfect timing. Christina was so attentive. She checked on us frequently, kept our drinks filled and made sure we had plenty to eat. We tried 4 out of the 5 different shrimp options. They were all delicious but if we had to rate them the jumbo coconut shrimp was the top choice. Followed by garlic shrimp scampi, grilled shrimp skewer, & Walt's favorite shrimp. But guess what? You can try them all yourself and see which one is your favorite. That's the beauty of the ultimate endless shrimp deal. So if you love shrimp like I do, this is the place for you. Patricia, the manager, should not be in a role of leadership due to her horrible customer service. My boyfriend and I walked in and was about to be shown our table by the hostess. Patricia came up and acted completely unprofessional and immediately questioning the hostess why we were being seated where we were. She then gave us to someone who was not supposed to take anymore tables according to the hostess. Patricia should've remained professional and had this conversation not directly in front of customers. It already left a bad taste in our mouths due to being new comers. I ordered the snow crabs which were not fresh and came out extremely fishy. This was my first time at a Red Lobster while I've had crab at Crafty Crab, and Crawfish Boil and the crab had never tasted like the one at this Red Lobster location. I spoke to my server that it did not taste right after having one leg. Patricia came over after and asked what was wrong with it and she gave a disgusted, judgmental tone and attitude, and then walked off without saying anything. She approached the table with annoyance and clearly was upset that her crab was fishy and it didn't meet my standards. She never came back to the table to apologize for her poor food and seems like she felt comfortable treating my table this way due to our age. This completely ruined the night due to her unprofessionalism and bad attitude. Candace was the sweetest server and tried very hard to make up for our night despite her managers rudeness. All the seafood tasted pretty fresh and were plated very nicely. I especially enjoyed the lobster and salmon - both were cooked to a nice tenderness and in my opinion make the dish worth the price. The bowl had a nice assortment of fresh vegetable-based sides (avocado, pico de gallo, etc) and complimented the shrimp well. My only bone to pick with both dishes was the shrimp - a little on the bland side. Yes they were seasoned with pepper but I couldn't really make out the shrimp flavor...so perhaps those could be a bit improved. But still, great food overall! Lastly, our server (didn't catch his name) was fantastic from start to finish! Very friendly and prompt in checking on us if we needed anything. All hail the return of endless shrimp! Very busy Monday night, but was still greeted by manager on arrival and seated promptly. Server was very attentive and gave us realistic times for "refills" (ex: Garlic Shrimp Scampi would take 10 minutes to fulfill, while others would be faster) Order came out exactly as specified, and relatively quickly given the crowd size. Coconut shrimp, Walt's favorite and Scampi were our choices. All were fresh, none were overcooked, and all tasted above average. Drink refills were asked about and kept filled. We have really been on lockdown during this entire pandemic but took a chance to go to a restaurant that was practicing social distancing and servers and hostesses wearing PPG. Unfortunately, our server believes that just having it hanging around her chin works. I didn't realize I was missing one, though I did mention coleslaw too. The clam strips were plump. I expected more chewiness in the clams, but they tasted fine. The shrimp was crispy and hot. I really liked the cocktail sauce in comparison to the tartar, which is unusual. The baked potato was cooked perfectly: hot and not a dry spot. It was National Lobster Day, so I got the Langostino Lobster-Artichoke-&-Seafood Dip for $5 when you buy an entree. I expected more artichoke flavor even though there were large chunks of artichoke in it. It was like a soupy queso with decent sized meat. The tortillas were crispy. The accompanying pico de Gallo was good. We also tried the Lobster & Langostino Pizza, which I thought would be less flat bread and more bread. It tasted okay, but the chopped tomatoes kind of overwhelmed the flavor. There didn't seem to be much of a cheese flavor and it arrived kind of lukewarm. The meat was cooked okay on it. The cheddar biscuits were soft and hot. The service was nice, though towards the end when we tried to get the bill, we encountered a few issues. While paying at the table, the bill didn't have the correct discounts applied, and we were being charged for an alcoholic drink (from the table nearby). After asking for service, the manager was able to fix the discount, but the message about the extra drink wasn't relayed to the manager. I mentioned to the server the other person had paid already, but I needed my portion fixed. It slipped his mind I guess, so we waited a while as they were wondering what had happed to the cost of the other meal. It was a bit of an ordeal. Good thing it was at the end of the dinner hour because it could have taken even longer. The water was refilled promptly enough. We got hot biscuits. Our server tried to be helpful by bringing over extra to-go containers, even though I asked only for a soup bowl. Everyone was nice and attentive once you got their attention. read more
