This area has been starved for a sit down non-fast food restaurant for some time. Thus, had been anxiously awaiting the TRH opening. Visited on Grand Opening evening, my wife and I took advantage of their $11.99 before 5p special and it was not only fantastic but in a world of $15+ lunches, a great dinner value as well. Left the house, had a short wait, an outstandingly steak dinner and was back home in less than an hour! Returned a second time a week or so later had the smothered chicken, fresh grilled mushrooms and onions, perfectly grilled juicy chicken. Really great (the grilled chicken at Perry's is not as good) BTW their house salad with ranch is a superb simple salad/hard to beat. Very good service both times and their pay @ the table machine is the best "check-out" system out there especially if you're in a hurry! 11.5.25 This is a new location. We have not been to a Texas Roadhouse since COVID. We inside was the standard you would find at any TRH. We did notice it was extremely loud inside. I could not even hear my husband talking to me. The salad was great. The steaks were cooked just the way we like them. The ribs were ok. They did fall off the bone and I did not really like the shrimp. Neither did my husband. All in all the steaks were great and we would not order the ribs or shrimp again. read more

The food was good! Busy restaurant but our server was great and very attentive. I highly recommend for a fun, delicious lunch or dinner!

We went to this particular one to support the Youth of our Church who received a percentage of the proceeds. Really impressed with the Service and Customer Service at this Restaurant. Sat at the Bar and had service from Karly and Yami who got our names and used our names throughout our time there and they were constantly checking on us. Then the Service Manager came and introduced herself and said if we need anything at all to let her know. Of course to top it off the FOOD was delicious as I would expect from a Texas Roadhouse and the Dancing from the Staff entertaining. Make sure to stop by and see for yourself. read more

I absolutely love this Roadhouse. The whole crew are so welcoming and friendly. Savannah was our waitress tonight. She was so amazing. We all ordered the ribeye Medium Rare. They came out perfect and so tender. I always get the mushrooms. They are always delicious. Such a great experience. We arrived around 5:30 and was seated right away. First this is a brand new Roadhouse in Magnolia and a long time coming! The food was excellent we shared a 20oz bone in rib eye with potato skins and a side salad. Our food was perfect and our waitress Alivia was probably one of the nicest people we have ever met! I hope her manager recognizes that she was on the spot with checking on us and making sure we were all good. 5* just for her! We went for the opening day and it was such a great experience. We used the online waitlist and were only in the building maybe 5 minutes before we got sat. They were very organized. The food was delicious and the rolls were hot and fresh. The only downside is if you have to go to the bathroom while they are dancing, no room down the aisle lol. Texas Roadhouse opened yet another new location. This location can get crowded at peak hours since it catches the crowd from tri-counties. There is usually a wait time of about 15 to 30 minutes upon checking in. Once name was called, the waitress led us to a cozy corner wooden table. There was a pack of Texas Roadhouse peanuts in a small rustic pail. Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with green beans - (+ bacon bits) and baked potato - plain with a dollop of whipped butter. After order was taken, they serve the soft rolls with whipped cinnamon butter then the ice cold diet coke. Food arrived. The portions were huge. The chicken fried steak was enough for 3 meals, 2 if hungry. The green beans with bacon bits is their star side item. Tried the baked potato - huge and fluffy with a blob of whipped butter. What makes the chicken fried steak stand out here? I still don't have the answer. Maybe it's the quality sirloin or maybe they nailed the batter or a combination. Tasted a bit salty overall but it's legit. Service was warm and friendly by Elianna. She brought us cold drinks and replaced a soda that was low in syrup. She also brought us rolls and even got us refills for the road. There were also peanuts on the house. Even though the majority of patrons come here for their steak, I would like to eventually try their grilled salmon, grilled chicken and grilled shrimp. However, I am not sure if they use a lot of butter in preparing their food. If you have a health issue, please proceed with caution, ask lots of questions and manage the way your food is prepared. Service is friendly, fast and good. Ambience is great as we got a nice corner seat. read more

Layla H was super friendly and made our visit Amazing. Our food was excellent tasting I completely forgot to take photos. And the bread oh the bread . Loved the line dancing. And we thought on a chilly Thursday night the Roadhouse wouldn't be crowded. Not a spot for a quiet dinner, esp. if someone's having a birthday or anniversary, but the food was comfort. Drink orders taken quickly. Only downside is the limited beer selection ... and in 1case they only had 1bottle left. They could stand a greater draft selection in my opinion. Ordered up the Road Kill dinner, Pulled Pork Dinner, a Sirloin, and 2 Grilled Shrimp Dinners. Everyone RAVED about their dinners. Large portions and options for potatoes and veggies. Another bit of a downside is the loudness although nobody goes to the Roadhouse for intimacy. All in all a great time. read more

And some mashed potatoes and white gravy everything was absolutely delicious and also a kids meal chicken nuggets with fries to-go picked up outside the restaurant at the window. This is the second time I went to the new location and I felt like I was eating a salt shaker. This time I had the chicken fried chicken and the gravy and the fried chicken were way too salty almost to the point where I couldn't eat it. They need to stop with the salt if they want people to enjoy their food let people salt their own food. Sat at the bar and they all seem very disorganized not very good service. read more

Blooming onion was terrible, looked good, but all crust and no onion inside. Ribs were over cooked and dried out. Had to ask for more BBQ sauce so I could eat them. Prime rib was a nice piece of meat but dried out. Service was good. The food was inexpensive, but u get what you pay for. read more

The hostesses and servers are friendly and energetic. Our food tasted great and came out fast! The ribs truly are fall off the bone tender. The restaurant is busy but we were able to get seated right away and the service was excellent. Managers came by both times we dined here to make sure all is well. We had a party of six last night at Tx Roadhouse 1488 in Magnolia. (12/9/25) We ordered Sirloin steak, Ribeye steak, and Porterhouse Steak with sides. The steaks were all smothered in Salt. We could not taste the meat, only Salt. I was embarrassed for it was a Birthday Dinner for our son, wife and kids. All agreed way too salty and steaks were not finished. I had purchased gift cards and this dinner wasted one third of the dollar amount of my gift cards. This was our first time at this restaurant and a bad experience. Baked potato, salad and bread was great. Next time we will try chicken dishes. read more

Well I caved and gave TRH another chance. I thought the new Magnolia location might be different....it wasn't. We had to ask another waiter to find our waiter so that we could finally order. The appetizer came out wrong The entre came out missing gravy... it was a different waitress that delivered our food. She says "is there anything else you need"...I said "yes, my gravy" and she responds with " when your waiter comes, then to tell him and he can help"....really? Sure glad she asked if I needed anything, cuz that little advice never would have occurred to me otherwise....so helpful. So of course I have ask him for the gravy (once he eventually walked by) and he brings instead the WRONG gravy. ...you know the gravy that we discussed in detail when I ordered. The ice tea was essentially colored water..it was lighter than a glass of light beer...except I paid $2 for it. And finally the birthday singing is absolutely a ridiculous distracting awful experience for everyone but maybe the birthday person. I will not be back to any TRH., despite the food was good. I was so excited for this location to open. It's between home and work for me so i was hoping to make this a weekly dinner spot for my family and I but i don't believe i will be going back. There is plenty of parking, so thats a plus. Even with a reservation, we waited over an hour for a table. I wouldn't suggest taking small children because i never saw a high chair, and was never offered one for my 1 year old so i ended up holding him the whole time. It was so loud, the waitress kept saying she couldn't hear us, so i guess maybe she never heard us asking for one. Our drinks took about 10 minutes to get, but it was busy so i understand that. The appetizers took almost 45 minutes to come out. Seems a bit much. The ranch dipping sauce that was supposed to come with the appetizers didn't make it to the table until we were finished with the appetizers and the majority of our meals as well. By then, there was no point in even bringing them. The salads didn't come for over an hour. And then some of the side dishes came out with the salad instead of with the meals. After our order was taken, our waitress vanished. After an hour, when the salads started coming, (brought by other waitresses) we were finally able to get our dinks refilled by one of them. 3 meals came out not too long after the salads. Then 2 more came 5 minutes later. My husband's came about 10 minutes after that. It was a chicken fried steak. They said the gravy for it would be right out, but that also never came back that we could ask about it. When the waitress finally reappeared to drop off the last meal, (again, other waiters brought all the other meals and appetizers), we asked her for refills. After about 15 minutes of waiting, we finally asked another person for refills and got them. One of the meals was missing the steak topper. By the time we got it, the steak was mostly gone. My mashed potatoes were cold as if they had also just been sitting and waiting for the waitress to reappear. The food wasn't bad, but the service was absolutely horrendous. At one point a manager asked what we were still waiting for as the tables next to us had already come and gone. We told her we were still waiting for our food and drink refills but hadn't seen our waitress since we had ordered almost an hour before. When our waitress finally reappeared she made a comment to another employee about waiting on the customers who told on her. It took about 3 hours from arrival until we were able to pay and leave. Definitely not worth the time or money in my opinion. Super disappointing. read more
