Who doesn't love Costco... This location is always packed no matter when you go. The selection and variety of items is both consistent but also fresh with new and exciting items to purchase. I have used their automotive area a couple times and the employees there have been helpful. The fruits and vegetable section are always packed full of great items. I do feel their price on this for apples and oranges is on the higher side for being a warehouse club though. The rotisserie chicken is $4.99 and they are huge. I always buy several and break them down when I get home to be used for a variety of meals. Chicken noodle soup, chicken casserole, etc. The frozen section always seems to have some sort of deal going on for multiple items. I try and pick those up in quantity on really great deals. The potassium for water softener at the time of this writing is $18.99 a bag, lowest around. Their fresh flowers I love buying for the wife and they are very reasonably priced. Spices, yes lots of them. I do wish Costco would ad the self checkout system like the other warehouse club has. It makes it so simple to scan as you go. Hit pay and walk straight to the door instead of waiting in line. Some days I have seen a person at the registers with a handheld device. They scan your card, scan all items in the cart and when you get to the cashier it's ready to pay for. They need this much much much more often in my opinion. The lines are extremely long on some days. Fun fact Costco is one of the largest wine retailers in the world. They are also listed in the top 10 pizza chains nationwide for sales. I upgraded to their premium membership which gives cash back on sales. To be honest I really don't think it's worth it for the average person. At most you will break even on the cash back enough to pay for the membership price difference. Other than that there are really no perks between the membership levels which are worthwhile. Costco gas is Top Tier. Top tier gas means they need to add a certain amount of additives in to protect your vehicle. Costco adds in 5x the normal amount of additive to theirs. Speaking of gas, their gasoline area is setup very nice. Someone is always there to assist individuals who may need ADA assistance, the pumps are always clean and wiped down. I don't see any stains or mess all over the ground either. read more

I love Costco and their amazing prices but this location seemed to lack the two items I was looking for chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. The amount of people walking in this store is crazy so be prepared to be in a big cluster and get super irritated. The customers are just so rude and don't seem to be courteous towards others so come with patience. I also love filing up my gas at Costco due to two perks: 1. Cheaper by 10-15 cents 2. The pump can go to the other side of the car However the staff is so friendly and even the people passing out the samples. If you need help with something there was an employee to ask. Costco is a great place to go when you have at least $100.00 to spend. Don't try to go with less because, you won't be happy There is so much to buy. I had not been to Costco in almost a year. This is my first time at this location. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. We are looking for a full-size mattress and a box. They had it in the computer that they handsome. However, after a lot of investigation ,from the very nice guys working in the back. There were not any. Everyone was very helpful. Even though we didn't get what we came for. However, we still managed to spend $100. Ha ha Never know what you're going to find out any Costco. Most of their inventory always changes. It's always exciting to look at everything. But, very exhausting walking around the concrete. It's a good place to go. We have visited a few times looking for different items as we have just moved and need new things. Always a good experience, plus it always seems to be very busy. Although one thing I have noticed is they don't give samples out anymore. If they do, it's very little. Staff is rude. Made me very uncomfortable asking questions. A woman at the eye center was especially short with me, when it is not my fault they destroyed a perfectly good system. Used to pull numbers.... now that COVID is taking lives, they want us all lined up against a wall? Before the changes, i never saw more than 2 parties at the eye center. It's a Costco. If you know what that means, you know what to expect. If not, just go. Mass quantities of all kinds of products at prices that are good if you need that much of something. Big family? Company coming? Planning a party? Yeah, this is the place for you. I like to buy big slabs of meat here and carve it up on my own. Those steaks seem to taste better than those we buy anywhere else. We eat lunch here sometimes: the pizza and hotdog+drink specials are good. Beware, though, that this place gets REALLY crowded around lunch time and pretty much all day on weekends. read more

I went into a Costco today, and actually bought an executive membership. Costco is well known for its free samplers. Because of Covid, they are not giving free samples, but employees are sitting at sampling stations, shaking empty boxes, or holding them to get attention. But I noticed that I was ignored by every sampler. So I see the GoGurt guy down the end of an aisle I just entered. I watch 5 people all get the song and dance routine. I reach the end of the aisle, stop and just sit there. I wait 30 seconds. And nothing. I plan to go back today. And will record this on my phone. Maybe everybody had a bad day. And if I'm ignored again, I'm going to ask for a refund. I don't know if it's store policy to ignore people in wheelchairs? Or if Costco thinks my business is not worth it? But if y'all don't like or want me...y'all can...nah, I won't stoop to your level. read more

The food court here is out of service. It looks like they have abandoned construction on the site and it it a pretty ugly eyesore. We need our lousy pizza and cheap yogurt, so the hope is that they get this place back in action. Otherwise, this is a fairly normal Costco out in the middle of nowhere Mesa. It is empty after 7:30pm and if you get to checkout before closing you will have no lines. Mostly families of at least six also in this location and a good dose of midwestern seniors who somehow think shopping in a Costco at age 75 means you are living your out your golden years in grand fashion. BAD NEWS: The food court reopened and it looks like brisket is now on the menu. I also saw people cleaning the benches and umbrellas, so you now have less of a chance to catch anything from the last families seven kids who sat there. We were about to pay & Sheri F had a guy come over because apparently my mother couldn't buy our groceries and toilet paper, she lives with me so we use the same toilet paper to clean our asses. I paid for my membership all year already sorry I lost my job just last week Sherri and that's why my mom had to pay for OUR stuff. I have ever considered club stores. Something just seemed wrong about paying to buy groceries. I finally decided to research the value of a club membership. Armed with 3 important tools (notebook, calculator and Yelp reviews), I hit the store on guest pass. My wife and I spent an hour carefully examining the items we would normally buy, calculating the cost per unit, and estimating how often we would need to purchase the larger quantities. After comparing them to our regular grocers this is what we discovered. Our produce is usually a better deal at the farm market we go to or when on sale at one of the major chain stores. the meat deals featured in the flyer are a better deal. I also found that at my local Safeway on Thursday morning at 8am meat is marked 50% off if it needs to be sold that day. Costco comes out ahead on health and beauty as well as paper products. Eggs and dairy are a bargain. Some brands we like they didn't have. Conclusion: in the long run we would save more than the $60.00 membership fee in a year f o r the things we buy regularly. We are now Costco Club members. read more

I ordered tires for my vehicle from the tire center they were replacements for the exact ones previously installed by this tire center. When I ordered them no mention was made of policy changes regarding aftermarket rims. I had the exact tire on my vehicle that was ordered and previously installed by the tire center. . I was told my tires were delivered today. I dropped my vehicle off. I was told it would be several hours so I arranged to be picked up. After arriving home I was told my rims were not rated for the tires they previously installed and replaced a few times over prior to now by this Costco Tire Center.. They never asked me about aftermarket rims nor had the new policy been disclosed. This could have been avoided with one simple question at the time I ordered the tires, " Do you have aftermarket rims". The tire shop manager who defended the policy of not installing the tires also defended not asking the question about aftermarket rims. He also disclosed this has been a problem before but had not modified the ordering process to safeguard against this error. The customer service from the tire shop manager Bill is terrible. I will not be going to the Costco tire center any longer for tires on any of my 4 vehicles and will not be recommending the tire center to future customers. read more

In our quest to visit every Costco in this great land, our travels too us to this locale - courtesy of my grandparents. Standard Costco with quality items and a great selection. The food court here is quite large and they attempt to corral everyone with floor lanes. Given the average age of those in the store was greater than 70, the lanes were felt to be more of a loose suggestion than anything else. This greater than normal age also led to one of the funnier things we've seen in a long time - passive aggressive/relentless customer when it came to samples. I've never seen so many grandparents hounding sample givers with gems like, "I've been around 3 times, doesn't seem like yogurt should take this long" or "You told me it would be 5 minutes, it's been 3, but you should have more". In the defense of every geriatrician present, the sample folks took their sweet time - largely because many patrons would take a handful of whatever was being served. Either way, you'll always find for than you need or plan to grab, and you'll probably find something that makes life better! read more

Racist pharmacy , prescriptions were sent over yesterday one of them was needing verification from the doctor yesterday. This morning called and checked if ready they said yes all 3 were ready including the one that was needed verification. My wife is sick so I was picking up for her then said that she called and said that only she can pick it up when I got there. She did no such thing. So she had to drive 20 minutes away to pick it up get out of bed sick just for them to tell her after they already verified it and said everything is ready when she gets up there now they need to call and verify it again which shouldn't be a problem at all but they give us rude stares and can't give a answer why they would tell us everything is ready did not feel comfortable in that store at all never giving Costco the time of day every again read more

My hubby and I usually to not drive out to this Costco, but we where in a search for a 75in TV. Our neighborhood Costco doesn't have a big TV selection so I thought to give this a go and happy we did. This Costco did have the selection we where looking for plus lots of delicious food samples. We did end up leaving with the TV the hubby wanted plus a lot of different food selections we tried along the way. He should only be inside the freezer stocking so he doesn't have to interact with people. I was there February 19 at 5:57 and was struggling using the electric shopping cart. So I usually shop here for myself and my business, for over 2 years now I've never had a bad experience everyone has always been friendly, but today I went up to pay for my things the cashier obviously looked like she was on her days. Even the guy was pissed, but then when I finished paying not even a thank you have a good day and worse of all the guy pushed my cart and it almost hit someone, left it in the middle of where everyone was walking. I was there this morning to pick up my contact lenses like I do every few months. It's always the same, I go to the counter, give my name and I get my contacts on the spot and head out the door. Well today my experience was very unpleasant, Sam in optical was very rude. She shouted at me to get at the end of the line for a simple contact lenses pick up so I did and when I got to the front of the line I was told that I did not need to wait in line for that. It was a simple pick up. I was in line for over 20 minutes when I did not need to be. This is not acceptable. Sam clearly lied to me because she did not want to help me. read more

Ingredients; "beef". It's like 9 bucks, impressive. I just love it here. Bought a FILA zip-up hoodie for $16. Price so nice I bought two. The food/meat section, outstanding. I like this Costco, but my main review is for the tire center as I don't see a page to review this department. I went in for a low tire pressure and although they were extremely busy, I was in and out in a flash. The worker that was at the front seemed to be overwhelmed with phone calls, computer going slow, and a slew of customers looking for service, he was still friendly and two thumbs up for being under pressure. Sadly, last night I was one of those customers!! It was 8 mins after they closed. (8:38pm) I went up to the exit to see if someone could help. I told them I apologize but online it showed me they closed at 9pm (that is the gas station hours). The first lady I spoke to ended up calling over Catherine, she let me know the hours and she thought that everyone has left photo, so I most likely won't be able to get help, but she said she was call and see if anyone could help me. She got told Andrea was still in the building, and it was my lucky day. Andrea came over and proceeded to get my order help me. I just want to thank Catherine & Andrea for going ABOVE & BEYOND to help me get these photos that I needed really badly for this morning before they opened. You will crawl down every isle at a pace so slow that the life will drain out of you and eventually you will abandoned your rotisserie chicken mid isle or die. This isn't the location I usually visit, but I was in the area on a Saturday when my husband called and asked if I could stop in for a container of chocolate covered almonds. As a rule, Costco's always busy, but heading there on a Saturday afternoon is essentially a suicide mission. I cringed at the idea, especially since I know this location is snowbird central, but CHOCOLATE COVERED ALMONDS. Not surprisingly, the parking lot was completely packed, yet the store itself wasn't nearly as busy as the South Gilbert location. (Seriously, where were all the people that went with all those cars? Creepy!) The layout of this location makes it a little harder to get around, but I found what I needed and the lines to check out moved quickly. I'm deducting a star because, judging from the smell of the restroom, there's a dead body being stored there. read more

This Costco is ridiculously packed at all times of day. I have not been to a Costco location that is as crowded as this one throughout the week including the gas station. I am not sure if this is more due to the surrounding community being (mostly) retired or that they could use another Costco in the nearby area. Went to Costco on sossaman today (1230-230)Was super duper busy today before the holiday. Bought some JW Blue Label and the checkout forgot to put the bottle in the box (every line was open and it was packed!). Got out to my car and realized it wasn't in there! Blake was out gathering carts and I explained the situation to him and he went in with me to ensure I didn't get any hassle about this conundrum. Horrible customer service from the front door associate a young Hispanic woman and her supervisor, extremely unprofessional, poor communication skills, lack of customer service. They need to be better trained, lack of experience keeping it together while doing a high volume of sales during a weekend. I own a construction company so we buy pallets of water from here they started charging a extra $75 for the pallet and when you bring it back you get you money back. So we finally finished both pallets and I try to return the pallets and they say no we all ready have they say I returned a blue one and a black one we never had a blue one just two black witch I brought back today they said no in there system it returned already and so they won't return our $150 dollars and won't do anything all they say is sorry we can't do anything so we are just out the money and they took the pallets so now I am just out of luck I returned the pallets and out $150 dollars not fair and a horrible way to treat a customer who had a membership for 15 years read more
