20/10 great experience, went in looking for a Marcel as a first year cosmo student, called the location prior to coming in, spoke with a lovely woman named Kim. once I arrived at the store she was quick and eager to help me. she assisted me in finding a good Marcel, and even helped me to consider purchasing options, when the best time was to get the best price ect. Kim is a lovely woman who loves her job, you can just tell how dedicated she is to what she does, we honest to God stood at the counter for maybe a good 30 minutes just talking nonsense. she's very personable and very knowledgable. along with selling me a marcel, she was very dedicated to helping me get a jump start to my future career, pointing out different stores, and websites, and brands. honestly the best experience I've had. If I could rate zero stars at this location I would. Went in to grab one product and my son was upset and the manger yelled at me to watch my child. It is already hard enough and I was on my way out and he continued to yell and talk rude to us and told me I should leave my child at home. Never coming to this cosmo again. Due to covid there is a 5 person max, understandable...so why was there more than your max inside & i was waved off like a stray cat just now??? I was told i had to wait outside because they were at their max, ok. I wait outside, a woman comes out with her purchase...i try going in & again Im told i have to wait outside because theyre at their max, excuse me? Sounds like one of you need to be outside the door guarding, because clearly what you're doing isnt working. I left. As we're pulling away a woman and her young son try walking in, also barely got a foot inside & came right back outside. The blonde idiot that everyone complains about refused to sell me a product i have purchased multiple time in the past. Every single time I call for product they always say they haven't unpacked items in boxes yet so they don't know if they have the products.. this is every single time ! They are losing out on so much money ! I called today to see if they had a Dyson air warp in stock. Told me that they didn't know cause everything is in boxes still. $400 dollar sell gone!!!! read more

The customer service is just garbage. Came in on a Saturday to do an exchange with a receipt. I lost my cosmo prof card so the lady at the counter said she was sorry but they couldn't do the transaction because customer service was closed. I call B.S. how does this company run or even stay open on a weekend without customer service. I drove a hour from out of town to do my shopping here. Well that's no longer going to happen. So recently my salon changed to an all Paul Mitchell salon so I'm still learning their color line I asked the girl what developer would be used for their demi .. she looked annoyed at my question. At check out I didn't have my card on hand I usually forget to bring it so i always just give them my number. Very rudely she says are u even licensed... of course I am I wouldn't be in there if I wasn't. girl with the blue hair u need to learn customer service skill I will not be returning to the shop again. I was in there yesterday. The 2 employees there were arguing because one of them said she had to do everything and the store was always a mess in the morning. I asked her a question and she snapped at me. I understand that she felt overworked maybe...but it wasn't my fault. I was there to buy olaplex but decided I will just get it at salon centric. The store was a mess. Nothing was stocked. Price tags were missing. The girl that was rude had gauges in her ears and short hair. Normally I have a good experience here....won't be back. Made me push my appointment back to I could get to the other beauty supply. I think the other girl was embarrassed because she stayed in the back and there were like 5 other customers in the store. Nobody got acknowledged or helped and the girl that was doing most of the yelling grabbed her purse and left. Employee DESIRE...Very unfriendly, rude, disrespectful, very untruthful and very poor on customer service. Desire is the girl who I had a horrible time with. In the beginning she tried to get me to purchase items and said "If there is any problems they will return it with full refund and if you don't have a receipt then you get store credit. I told her I had a return and to go home and get it. When I returned she changed her story...the items were not on sale and she gave me the lowest price in the computer and lied and said they were on sale. I asked her to show me where in the flyer is the sale and why are there no sale tags up...just regular priced tags. Desire said that she goes by the computer (by the way, the computer states the price THEY PAY for it...which is about half the price lower...Desire will tell you it's the "Sale" price so be careful.) She deducted it from the total and charged me tax again. Not only that...according to Desire...the "computer" as she blames it on...will deduct the amount of what they say is the price and not give you back your tax you originally paid. They try and convince and confuse you and play math games so be careful...YOU ARE NOT GETTING ALL YOUR MONEY RETURNED TO YOU that you originally paid...and they know it. I call that stealing from their customers...IRS needs to do an audit on them. Also, if you ever compared prices with them and Armstrong McCall...Armstrong McCall is $1-$5 dollars cheaper per item then CosmoProf. I did a price check on multiple items at both places. Example: The price tag at CosmoProf says $15.98 and in print underneath it will say $13.70 if you buy 6...Well, the $13.70 price is what Armstrong McCalls exact price is for that item and it's not even on sale...and you can buy only one at that lower price. It all adds up so watch everything and watch your receipts when buying and returning. Also BEWARE that the girls there working at CosmoProf...ARE NOT LICENSED COSMETOLOGISTS!!! DO NOT ask them professional advice!!! Funny how you have to be licensed to shop there but not to work there. read more
