My new Blueberry Marshmallow Bar candle is lightly perfuming the office right now too so I'm feeling extra galvanized. What's not to love about B&BW? They have everything you need to make your bathroom into a spa: candles, wall-mounted fragrances, lotions, body washes, and other smelly things. I mainly come here for hand sanitizer and candles. They run some great deals multiple times a year. I love the $12.95 three-wick candle specials which is the reason of my latest visit. They also had two specific limited-edition candles that's in-stock only for this $12.95 three-wick candle special! I got them both~ When you want a generic gift for someone, you come to B&BW. Since this store has incompetent cashiers who take money from your gift cards and don't credit you, I was forced to take time out of my busy day to contact BBW customer care. The manager at this location was completely useless and wouldn't help me. My gift card was ultimately restored to its original balance of $25, since BBW customer care was able to determine I was correct. DO NOT SHOP at this location. Take a ride to Tempe Marketplace. The cashiers at the Tempe location know how to work the registers!!!!! The manager at Chandler Mall doesn't care and won't help you! Stay away! Chandler Mall, train your employees please!! Great location within the mall with amazing customer service. I had walked in on the day they were doing $10 off candles and having the 25% off coupon, I of course loaded up my bag with candles I didn't need lol. The location is nicely laid out with most body care located at the front of the store, hand soaps, car scents, and wall flowers located in the back of the store. In the center is displays of candles and small travel sized items. I'd say the store is laid out like most other B&BW. While I was checking out the cashier noticed one of the wall flower scents I had didn't have the same amount as the others. I appreciate his attention to detail so I could grab another. read more

I love this location! The remodel looks fantastic, the employees are absolutely wonderful, & the store is about a mile from my house. It beats having to beat the rush into a mall to get my favorite items. I came here in search of any Christmas scents still in stock since those are my big favorites & I was in luck. The employee who helped me this visit was Paige & she was awesome! I stocked up on more shower gels and a few more body sprays. One of the times I went to pick up my order when there was about 3 employees hanging out in the front, didn't even say hi to us. We waited awhile in the back and finally had to flag someone down to help us. Left a bad taste in our mouths. The next two times was completely different. I usually don't give feedback on big chain stores, however I felt the need to write a review for two separate experiences I had at two different stores in the last week. This experience at the Chandler store was my second and very positive. Immediately upon entering the store I was greeted with a warm welcome from an associate who I later found out was the manager. She asked me if I needed any help and also directed to the item for which I could use my coupon for a free item. Afterwards she informed me of the currents sale for the day and then offered a bag so I could drop the items into, all this within a few minutes of me walking in. After completing my unnecessary search of items ( I went in for one thing...facepalm) and making it the register, the associate at the counter were just as friendly and helpful as the manager. As I left the store, I thanked the manager and informed her, her sales team and her self had true customer service and I would be returning to her store. read more

Updating my review and reducing to a single star as sadly I've more disappointing experiences. My latest one came this week when I discovered their shady advertising practices and was basically blown off. They were advertising 10oz soaps for $5 yet the soap next to the sign was only 8oz. So I asked where the 10oz bottles were as I wanted what was advertised. The person said oh that's just an old sign. Well that's not my issue - that's false advertising. She didn't want to hear it so she just walked away. See photos. SCAM as far as I'm concerned! Watch closely to ensure that you are getting what you are paying for. ************ I was rather disappointed by my most recent visit. There were no less than four people working the store (maybe 5) yet only one at the register stuck with a customer that was trying to nickel and dime her way through her purchase! So we stood there for 15 minutes waiting to check out! Honestly, on any other day I'd have walked straight out but my girls wanted special lotions for Teacher Appreciation day, which was the next day...so there we stood with my blood pressure rising each time an associate doing nothing wandered by. I should have grabbed a bottle of the stress relief hand sanitizer and doused myself in it! This is not my typical experience at this store, and as a result I'm still giving them 3 stars even though this particular visit was not a 3 star visit! read more

I had really great customer service here. I had a wallflower plug in that stopped working after 3 months and they exchanged it and were really great about it. There are always great sales and coupons and good deals on all the products. I mostly use their hand soap and their wallflower plug ins. These are good products at decent prices and the people are usually very helpful. If they are out of a certain fragrance on the shelves they are always really good about going in the back and checking for more for you as well. read more

The employees are always very helpful (especially now during the busy holiday season), the shelves are always stocked, and the store is very clean & well kept. the manager Julie is not a helpful assistant manager at all! She is so rude and her voice towards me was uncalled for! I'm truly upset at her service that I'm sure if The district manager or Corporate office hears my complaint, they would 100% not appreciate how she treats their customers. She needs to change her attitude and be coached to become a better manager if she wants to succeed in the retail business. I manage a retail store myself and I always coach my managers how we need to take care of our customers and make our business better for everyone to walk out happy.... but it looks like that is not the case at this store . If I could give it zero stars I would. Alright I'm back you guys got another review for you. I use to work here recently and it lasted a month lol. This place is horrible including the staff especially two people. The store manager and a supervisor. What's disappointing is that these girls would rather work at a lotion store than have a career but hey that's just my opinion.. So let's get into this. I was hired and my first day went fine the fact that you get breaks is nice. Well I thought.. Then my second day was a Saturday and they had me ringing on a registered for 6 hours straight with one 15 minute break. One of the supervisors pulled me to the back and said "if you don't pick up the pace I am sending you home!" I told her it was my second day she proceeded to not care and nitpick EVERYTHING I do. Which is pretty pathetic considering it was my second day and no one from the hire ups called her to tell her to send me home that was her choice she didn't do it though. I have a pretty rough attitude when you pissed me off so she backed the hell up.. She looked like that person who thought they were "all that and a bag of chips" just because she was a supervisor at a LOTION STORE. Again stay in school y'all. All that company cares about is MONEY. They talk about how you have to hustle the customer and TRY AND TRY to get her to buy more.. Which is ridiculous and unethical. Also... If you have to "hustle" to keep your location alive.. Then I doubt the location is doing great. The supervisor was being more ballsy than usual because the store manager was GONE for ten days which is again.. Lol pathetic she feels like she needs to be important somewhere and decided to do it at a fragrance store.. She gave herself more authority and credit than she should have.. It's not like without her the store would be worse.. It was already horrible. (This is why you go to school people.) So on my third day a customer came in she seemed like a lady of Hispanic background who was in her thirties or forties. She said "hello is the store manager in?" I said no because she wasn't that day like I said before she took a 10 day for vacation when she just hired 5 new people which was unprofessional and let her monkey of a crew run the show.. The customer proceeded to say "I am glad she is not here.. I worked here for 12 years and I hate that bitch!!" I asked her why and she said that she is a "pathetic loser who throws herself into her work because her life is pathetic so she treats her employees unfairly when It comes to her personal life.. She's a childish bitch and also said if I haven't found out already I would SOON." she left and I don't disagree with her. It's hard working at a place that tells you, you need to hustle the customers and all we care about is "money so the business stays alive" not once did I hear anything about the customers well being?? and "you have to fake your smile because I want my paycheck that's all I come for? I don't really act this way anywhere else.." That was said to me by the store manager.. Ahaha anyway lesson learned not all the staff is bad.. Just literally those two in particular and I am not going to be a coward and not mention any names. It was Lauren and Michelle. Make sure you don't work here..
