We had a great experience. What a difference a location makes! We had the complete opposite experience creating our custom box of chocolates at this See's Candies location. The employees were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They even offered us extra samples while we were choosing our chocolates--which is always a great way to win us over! Such a pleasant experience, and we'll definitely be back. read more

See's Candies - My box - Candy Stores Near Me - Chandler, Arizona

See's Candies is the GOAT for a reason! A variety of milk and dark chocolates galore. But my personal favorites are the California Brittle and Milk Almond Caramel. I took away a star for the customer service, though. We weren't greeted like we normally are when we walked in, and we waited at least 10 minutes before the counter person acknowledged us and said she'd be with us. She was boxing candy in silence while the customer she was helping browsed the store. In all the years we've been See's customers, that's not the level of customer service we've come to expect. The candy is still top-tier, but the customer experience matters, too! read more

Love this store might be kinda biased since I grew up going to this mall and this See's but when I went earlier today it really made my whole day the employees were phenomenal they always are but today was great I don't know if it was the deal on peanut brittle or just the atmosphere they always seem to conjure in there it was almost magical. I know I'm talking about a candy store but I love candy and I love See's I wish I got their names but it was such a great time. Even got a sample of the milk chocolate coated like toffee candies i literally love so much if I could live off of peanut brittle I would choose See's When I See's Candies I come running read more

Ever been somewhere and left feeling like you were treated less than? That was my experience at See's Candies Thursday evening of 4-2-26. I walked in with my family of five, excited for a sweet treat and in admiration about the Easter decor on display. We were patiently in the back of the line with no behind waiting. While we stood there, Vanessa came out from the side with chocolate caramel samples--super kind, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I appreciated her energy right away and thought oh wow they give you samples while you wait cool!! When it was our turn at the counter, I noticed customers before me asking for other samples in the display case, so as a first-time visitor, I figured I'd try one I saw in the display case too. I asked for the open almond caramel with a chocolate bottom but was met with a loud sigh (by another staff member tending the display case chocolates) because I took a second too long deciding between that and another option the marshmallow caramel--- there was no one behind us. Immediately, I felt uneasy and rushed. I went with the almond caramel chocolate bottom--and I'm honestly glad I sampled it because the caramel was much harder than expected and not easy on my teeth. Then my teenage son politely asked for a double chocolate sample, and that's when things took a turn. The associate looked at us and said, in a very sharp tone, "After this, I'm going to have to charge you." She even started pulling out two pieces before I told her we only needed one. It wasn't just what she said--it was how she said it. The tone felt accusatory and unnecessary, especially considering I had already told her this was my first time there. Had I known there was a strict sampling limit, I would have chosen differently from the start instead of taking the caramel sample offered earlier. I then made it verbally clear I was purchasing, not just sampling and leaving and did so by stating that. She then realized how she came off as I'm sure she was not expecting me to say so. In fact, I still went ahead and bought several pieces (and added more), but the experience was already soured. What made it worse was noticing that the same energy was not given to customers before me--if you know, you know. I will not be returning to this location. Vanessa, however, deserves recognition. She was warm, patient, and made the checkout experience pleasant. Unfortunately, her coworker's lack of professionalism and poor communication overshadowed the visit. I had to explain to my kids that sometimes you will run into people like this unfortunately and to brush it off as they were frustrated with the experience as well. read more

See's Candies - Candy Stores Near Me - Chandler, Arizona

We absolutely love this location inside the Chandler Fashion Center Mall. A trip to the mall is not complete unless we make it to this side of the mall to grab our usual - 3 selections each in our own small bag. The employees are kind enough to mark our bags, so we don't get them mixed up. There are so many good chocolates to choose from. I usually go for one chocolate something and a couple of truffles. The wife mixes it up all of the time. Then we look at all of their displays to see what is being featured at that time. And, of course, you cannot leave the store without checking out their lollipops. I go for the root beer one while my wife likes anything that tastes like coffee, like a latte flavored one. Lately they have done some cool collabs too, with other companies like Squishmallows. They had a clear bag that came with several chocolates and some stuffed animals from Squishmallows. Genius. I recommend stopping by to get some treats the next time you're at the mall. read more

See's the Day! If you're feeling glum or gloomy, See's the Day! When despair is in the air, See's the light at the end of the candy-land tunnel! Just walking into a See's Candy store lifts the spirit. Especially since they offer a FREE sample upon arrival. I love that one can pick and choose just a few pieces, take a pound or two or even three! With the marvelous extensive variety, you'll always find a "sweet" to fit the bill. Service here is simple and courteous. Always a clean crisp environment as well. Pick up a pick-me-up, you'll be glad you did! ***they also carry sugar free*** read more

Visited see's candies for the first time the other day and had a really great experience! Everyone greeted me immediately, they even offered me a sample to try. Cassandra helped me out and was amazing. She was so patient explaining the process of building my own custom box. She recommended her favorite pieces, and some popular pieces to add to my box. The store was busy but she never rushed me and even offered me some extra samples of pieces I was curious to try. I'm now a new fan of See's and can't wait to come back for more treats! read more

I love this See's. Everyone I talk to is friendly and will take a moment to treat you like a person, how's your day, and mean it sort of thing. Have you had your daily dose of Vitamin See's yet? Love popping in here to get gifts and goodies. Free sample? Why not!? My top three favorite truffles at See's: - Polar Bear Paw: Roasted, salted peanuts and vanilla caramel. - Dark Scotchmallow: Honey marshmallow and vanilla caramel. The Dark Coffee and Milk Caramel Apple variants are also a tasty treat. Dark Scotchmallow as a pumpkin shape are superior than all the Scotchmallows. - Toffee-ette: Crunchy toffee with almonds. The holiday flavors are usually pretty great as well. I would argue that See's Candies are the GOAT of generic holiday gifts. Chocolates are more loved than the generic holiday candle and/or lotion set you can gift anyone. Who doesn't love a box of chocolates? See's has been around since 1921. That's 103 years of sweetness! Not only was Sami helpful and pleasant over the phone but showed her excellent customer service skills in store. With it being holiday rush time, See's had at least four employees behind the counter that I could see. Sami described the chocolate fillings with a smile. I would got "nuts" if I had to repeat this same info 96 times a day! Why 96, you ask???? Think about it........on average, they may serve at least 12 customers an hour. Multiply by an average of 8 hours is 96! I feel for all the retail employees especially at this time of the year and try to smile, be patient and show them a bit of holiday spirit! read more

I want to recognize an outstanding employee at See's Candies named Teegon. When Teegon is on shift, the chocolate shop feels more welcoming, upbeat, and genuinely enjoyable. His positive energy, professionalism, and warm approach with customers create the kind of experience people expect when walking into a chocolate store. When he's not there, the store noticeably loses some of that cheer. Teegon is knowledgeable about the chocolates, patient with customers, and consistently supportive of his coworkers. He naturally helps keep things running smoothly while making customers feel comfortable and taken care of. I say this with perspective -- I have over 10 years of experience as an above-store restaurant leader, and individuals with Teegon's work ethic, leadership presence, and customer focus stand out immediately. Based on what I've observed, it genuinely makes me wonder why he isn't already in a management role or at least being actively developed for one. I truly hope See's Candies recognizes how valuable Teegon is, continues to invest in him, and gives him the opportunity to work more often. He's the kind of employee customers don't want to lose, and it would be disappointing to see him leave when he brings so much positivity to the store. See's Candies is known for quality products and a friendly, nostalgic atmosphere, and Teegon represents those values extremely well. Please keep up the great work, Teegon. Your professionalism, consistency, and positive presence make a real difference, and they set a strong example for both the team and the customer experience. Your efforts are genuinely appreciated. read more

I purchased a one pound box of candy that was half Vanilla Nut caramel and half California Brittle. The candy was for a person who lives in a state that doesn't have a See's store. I was informed that the vanilla candy was old and stale. I was very upset that this happened, and it ruined the gift. It was location # 0258 in the Chandler Mall. I'm aware that the candy is made off site, but they should keep track of when their product is passed the freshness date. Now I will have to go through the trouble of getting a refund, since their product did not meet mine or my recipient's expectations. read more

I'm just obsessed. This is quality candies! No question about the taste and variety. Can't be beat!

Growing up in California, naturally See's Candy is a staple of my childhood. You'll find this store next to the Macy's on the first floor, in case you are wondering about parking. (Yes, I drove to the mall just to visit See's Candy and promptly went home after buying a box of assorted lollipops. For myself. No shame.) Their Lollipops are 80 calories a piece, and definitely worth it if you're attempting to diet and need something tasty but long-lasting to satisfy your sweet craving. I tried their Chocolate Orange Lollipop today and it was SO good - this is coming from someone who doesn't really like chocolate orange flavors in general. Their Vanilla was always my favorite out of the non-seasonal lollipop flavors. I'm anxiously waiting for their Pumpkin Spice Lollipop to be released as I have not tried it yet! Now if you AREN'T trying to diet, the chocolate candies are your go-to. The apple pie truffle is amazing, but I think it's only seasonal? My favorite candy by far is the milk chocolate bordeaux, but they're honestly all super good. When I was a kid, my favorite candy from the boxes my mom would bring home are the molasses chips! Plus, they offer a free sample when you come in! Truly dangerous store for those trying to watch their figure. Dieters and dentists beware. read more

Love their candy and employees! The chocolate is delicious and I love getting to pick out whatever I feel like!

Went here today, they can't measure out weight accurately. They overcharged me over $5 because the person working has no clue how a scale works. There are many better places to purchase nice candies. I love a good See's candy. Reminds me of my childhood. My mom and dad would always get me a box for Easter and Valentines Day! I love that they give samples! Great flavors! The dark and the milk are both good for me. I love them! Store is always clean and they have good customer service. I recommend getting a chocolate egg! Those things are the best, and they are so pretty! My favorites: California Brittle, strawberry, caramel with almonds, and butterscotch (brown sugar covered chocolate). read more

Boxes and boxes of holiday-wrapped See's candies were stocked up. I tried a keylime chocolate and it was pretty good, but ended up getting the usual nuts and chews box and some smaller ones in case we need to gift someone we forgot! See's always are on point with seasonal confectionary! read more

I'm not a huge See's fan because it just feels overpriced and unnecessary, but they have a huge following and I'll give them credit for that. This particular location is really small and tucked away in a corner just outside of Macy's in Chandler Mall. They typically have free samples available when you come in and the employees that I've encountered have always been relatively friendly, kind, and helpful (there was one that didn't fit that bill but I think she was just having a really bad day). The treats are really good ...no denying that. read more

I had to go inside the Chandler Mall to get some candy for my trip to the East Coast, where one lady I am going to see told me she loves See's Candy. I am not a candy eater, but my wife is a chocoholic freak so I go here a lot with her or for her. I was just there this morning to pick up more candy for her since she was running out. I just thought I would mention the fact that they are always very courteous at See's and they do something very carefully that I most other establishments don't. When you buy some candy, they have various box sizes -- half pound, one pound, two pound, etc. etc. When they put your box on the scale when you are paying for your candies, the scale automatically adjusts for the weight of the box, whether it be the small half pound box, or a big five pound box. You might not think that this is a big deal, but some places don't do this or the adjustment is not very accurate. Also, I was using a gift certificate for one pound of candy so they filled the one pound box full -- when they weighed it, the weight was not quite one pound so they gave me the two extra pieces in a small bag. Most places just fill the box and call it even. So I think that See's concern for customer service and giving the customer full value for their dollar is very good, especially in today's "bad customer service climate". Incidentally, my wife says that the value to price ratio of See's candy is even higher than Godiva Chocolates, Bill Blase chocolates, etc. etc. She should know -- consuming maybe 50 pounds of choc candy each year!! read more

Is there anyone who hasn't tried See's at one time or another? I think they are like the fast-food of the candy world. Quick, consistent, and good enough for most occasions. One thing I miss at this particular location is the service. Whenever we went on our semi-annual Christmas and Mothers Day trip to get a box for my Mother-in-law at the old See's store across from MCC, it seems the ladies behind the counter were always sweet, friendly and Grandmother-like. On both of my trips to the Chandler mall location so far, the young ladies working there ranged from detached and unsmiling to rude. read more

The only dark chocolate I eat is See's. The candy is phenomenal. The service at this location is always good. I find that if I have small children with me, we get more samples. When it's just me, they stick to that one sample per person rule. I don't mind, one sample is better than none. read more
