I appreciate that I'm still allowed to get my own candy from the bins. They make hand sanitizer available. They have gloves. They have bags to fill, or containers you can purchase and fill. I love to pick out several different licorice options. Hubby likes gummy candy, especially their new 4D line of gummies. They always have something unique in their store. This gummy pickle caught my attention, so funny. It's going to be a gift someday. I'm leaving this pic to remind myself where I saw it, my pickle party 2021 is going to be so funny! read more

A very attractive inviting store! And a great place for gifts too! The cashier was very nice making the service great!!

There were gnats in the store near the register and I brought it up when paying but the employee just laughed and continued to ring us up. (ugh, hindsight). I thought it was because the door was left open in the evening, near closing time. There are lat plants and greenery near the store's entrance. We bought a few things and got home and my daughter took a bite of her candy and spit it out. We realized the wrapped candy was expired. Clearly printed on the wrapper - it wasn't the only one. There's no way I will risk the bulk candy being any better so it's all going in the trash. Our family will never return. Absolutely gross. read more

IT'SUGAR - Expired candy - unacceptable!! - Candy Stores Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

Does anyone remember SWEET FACTORY back in the day at MALLS?? Well this is Sweet Factory on steroids! This place has so much variety. From gummies to chocolate to novelties and unique packaged gift items. Charlie Bucket would be content. The problem is you just have to exhibit self control when you come here. You can easily rack up a $10 bag of candy because you start piling on all the candies. I wish there were scales for customer use so we could track the POUNDS of candy we collect so we don't spend our whole piggy bank. I think I'm just bitter because I wish I had this in my life as a kid! No fair! Everything is better for the kids these days! ::: throws tantrum::: read more

The best candy store to be able to pick your own goodies in one bag. My kids and I love coming here to get our sweet tooth fix. We love the selection of gummy candy, sour stuff and chocolate. Chocolate covered gummy bears are life changing.. just sayin. read more

IT'SUGAR certainly sounds like a candy store, but if you think that's what you're walking into, you're in for a *treat. I'd say this place is a novelty shop, with lots of candy too. Sure, there's candy bins with some of the most expensive (priced) candy in town, but where else are you going to find a huge rice crispy, ginormous gummy bear, ridiculously large chocolate bar, and all in one place? That's right, It's sugar is about the only place you will. There were literally kids in this candy store and I can first handedly tell you, the saying 'like a kid in a candy store' is true. I just couldn't stop from touching everything, licking the candy bins and running around asking if I could have whatever would fit in my hands. Novelty shop or candy store? ... you decide! Happy Yelping Phoenix, sometimes it's ok to be a kid in the candy store. read more

I was in there yesterday and made a purchase. You charged my credit card two times for one transaction and in my book, that is fraud. I do NOT recommend shopping here as this will probably happen to you as well read more

Huge variety for a sugar fix for kids. The very shortlived empty goody bags filled up quickly with 6 youngins' prowling around with their eyes gleaming with excitement. The same gaze as I when Im faced with a smorgasbord of seafood. I didnt realize that gummies could come in so many different shapes and realistic forms of other foods. read more

Don't go here unless you like to be charged twice. I was charged twice when I called and asked for them to fix it. I was told no can-do unless I drive all the way back in which for me is a 30 to 45 minute drive this to me is ridiculous. You should never not be able to refund due to some system. It's ridiculous. Do not go here. The workers suck. They are on their phones the entire time. Management is super unhelpful. read more

The place was clean. The worker there was very nice and friendly. It was an average visit, but I feel like these go unnoticed and places need to be recognized for doing a good job, since I'm sure if there was an opportunity for them to go above and beyond to help me out with my purchase or anything, they would. (Halloween candy was a nice touch.) read more

Come here if you want to buy a giant rice crispie treat for $22. REALLY? This place is more like a novelty gift shop than a candy store. This is place is hazardous to your health and at the same time, you will pay more money than just going to Walmart and gorging on their cheaper candy. It's a colorful and trendy atmosphere... that might make it a fun visual journey to diabetes. read more

I stop by here every time I'm nearby? Why? Because I'll always be a kid at heart. They habe candies that you can't find back in the 90s. Yes I am a 90's baby! I love sour candies, licorices, gummy bears, peach rings, chocolates, gum drops, candy rocks, etc. Man I remember filling up my bag full and my mom yelled at me because she spent $50 on candy when I was a child. Brings back memories every time I go in here. So 1/4 pound is $3.49. Yes it is pricey but I still go here for my candy cravings. Who doesn't want to relive their childhood while eating candies from here? Good ol 90s. Sometimes I wish we can rewind but thats impossible. All we can do is reminisce. I'm glad this place existed for me to remember some of childhood experiences. Place is always clean. I love that people that work here is always friendly. Last night I felt like a kid because there are so many options on candies. The guy that worked there said ohhh so many options, what to decide. I couldn't help but giggle. So stop by if you would like some sweet treats! Well sour also.. Oh and yes they have other things like crickets in a bag. I believe they are real crickets. If you're weird go ahead and try that too! read more

Great candy store! It's like Dylan's Candy Store but smaller and less confusing. I went in at night when they were having a deal where I only had to pay for the container and not the weight. I filled a Chinese-type container half full of candy. Delicious! I bought too much espresso beans and not enough of those yummy chocolate covered peanut butter balls! I took a star off because I found a piece of black hair when eating my chocolate covered double Oreos. My favorite were the flavored gummy bears, especially Green Mojito! I also got three flavors of jelly beans, which all tasted horrible. Each flavor got worse eating the initial jelly bean. So I recommend the chocolate covered peanut butter balls and all the gummies! read more

Good place to pick up an extra sweet gift for a friend. Want some candy? They have oodles of it. Need an old school candy ? Bet they got it. The Good News ? They have huge versions of Hershey Bars , Reeses Peanut Butter Cups , Gummy Bears and more. Would be great gag gift, silly gift or just a gift. Bad news is the prices are on the high end. Better prices at local candy store --SMEEKs in Phoenix. But if you are walking the marketplace this might be your place for a treat. They also have some great old style vintage Ann Taintor refridge magnets and other cool retro fun gifts . But once again I have seen the same things for less elsewhere in town. The store is cute as can be bright colors and very inviting. Personally I like candy stores that look vintagy again like SMEEKs...Hey maybe i should just go to SMEEKs? read more

I LOVE this place. They have some of the best gummy bears around. I havent tried one of their oversized ones yet, but I throughly enjoy their normal sized ones. Another awesome thing about this place? They sell a bunch of candy that I grew up eating. Clark bars, Big League Chew, every flavor of Pop Rocks imaginable, Pixi Stix (make you own, and theyre HUGE....thats what she said) just to name a few. They also have a bunch of fun candy themed gifts. Hershey products (lip gloss, pillows, etc), jars of Reeses peanut butter, bacon flavored gifts, Star Wars stuff, Mustache gifts, huge Rice Krispie treats/ boxes of Nerds/ tubes of Sweettarts.... I could go on but its just making me hungry! Highly recommended for the 10 year old kid in all of us. read more

It's still a specialty store, so don't expect them to be cheaper than online / wholesale like Costco, but for what it's worth, I felt like my money was well spent. I picked out some sour candies in a "fill it out yourself" bag and also got a super long $1 sour candy. Both were pretty good. Not really much else to say. The store is clean, at a decent cool temperature which is crucial in a state like Arizona where the summer temps can get pretty hot, into the triple digits. I was surprised that the entrance had doors wide open, but then again it wasn't SUPER hot the day I went. Would return. read more

Great place to get candy! Been buying my bulk candy here for a couple years, the staff is always really friendly, makes great suggestions and are always willing to help you out! They're always telling me ways to save money or get the best deal which is really awesome! read more

This is an incredibly happy place with the nicest staff. I'd swear I go into the story just because it's so HAPPY. Well, there are also the chocolate-covered gummi bears. The supplier of binned chocolate products must be Koppers, since these are the bears that are all one flavor, but with good chocolate coating. The other clue is the presence of chocolate-covered cookie dough. Try this, like it, and make much of it, as I want the store to expand into additional flavors in the Koppers' catalog. Otherwise, it runs generally to the children-need-princess-plushies sort of novelties and candies, more than to the cute-funk of Candy Addict or the hipster irony of Smeeks. Recognize that you're not here to save money: you're here because it's fun to assemble a sort of demented bridge mix from the bin candies, and then you can something sweet to help you cope with the rest of your shopping trip. read more

I love this store. Candy weed joints, mints in a case that looks like a nintendo controller, chocolate that looks like actual rocks (would make for a great prank) and every candy you could possibly think of. The only thing missing here was candied apples but a few stores down they have a rocky mountain chocolate factory which takes care of that fix. I want to try the baileys and jack daniels chocolate. They both have alcohol in them. The Baileys was $20 and the Jack was $12. Great spot. I could see myself buying alot of stuff here in the future. read more

$8 for the following; 1/8 cup of gummies 1 sucker ($1 here that are 10/$1 elsewhere) 1 pack of pop rocks ($1.99). They took the fun out of fun candy shops :( read more

A fun little shop with a wide variety of candies and some fun soda flavors. Also the employees don't hover over you or ask if you need anything excessively which was awesome. Definately the place to go for a fun gift! read more

It is a great place to get an oversized Reese's Cup. I love it. I highly recommend this place.

Prices were way to high. I was in there about two week ago to show my friend what I thought was going to be a cool candy store but after what i saw I'm never going back. It was a little busy when I went in but after seeing three kids lick the scooper and put them in the candy jar and lick them again I couldn't stay there another second. read more

A candy shop that doesn't sell salt water taffy? No jelly belly raspberries? Very disappointing. And if rather get my jelly belly from the grocery store for way cheaper. Very Very overpriced but overall awsome selection of candies! They highlight 50's -90's candy, comical hand sanitizers and notpads, and SNL candies and gift ideas such as "D*** in a box" this is not your average candy store. Be sure to check it out online, at Tempe Marketplace! They definitely will have something for the whole family. read more

It's a fun place to check out when your in the area. Can get pricey but has some fun things too. It's a typical candy store. Nothing "Willy Wonka" style. read more

The candy selection itself is pretty good; tons of variety and the taste is fairly good. However, it is really quite pricey, so if you're buying here, make sure to bring enough money! If you end up with more than you can pay for, though, they'll let you take some out, so that's a plus. read more

This place is a lot of fun. I am a candy freak but these people have the biggest and rarest things like reall Aussie licorice and Chunky. All sorts of pez dispensers. I collected them as a kid back in Cali. I could spend an hour in here and my kids never want to go home. The place is clean and the people are really nice. They even let you have samples. read more

That place is fun. I like going there to joke around. They have the funniest shirts and magnets. They have candy on steriods ( Not literally) but their candy bars are huge. They are probably bigger then my handsX25 No joke, i got a snicker bar and it took me about a week or so to finish. Its crazy. They have really good gummy worms and bears, This place is really cool. read more

Yum! I like bulk, unwrapped candy. I don't care if it seems 'unclean'. Obviously if a bunch of candy is stuck together I will change my mind, but all the candy I got here was neither sticky, or in any child's mouth (from what I observed). The prices are high, but it's a novelty shop, not Circle K. I like that I can mix and match my own variety of candy. Also, the unwrapped bulk candy I purchased was absolutely fresh, and tasty. The man working at the cash register was super friendly. I love candy, and I will be back! read more

It's a trap. You can get just as good candy from somewhere else that won't charge you $3.14 per 1/4 lb. Go to another candy store! Someone described it as a novelty store more than a candy store and I almost agree. I won't return. read more
