amazing service and very considerate employees. candy is incredible, especially the chocolate.

This is a very cool old school freestanding See's Candy location. It is located right across the street from Mesa Community College, and I'd be willing to bet that most visiting parents get a box of chocolates from their college son or daughter when they come to visit. You enter from the blistering heat (it is July) and are welcomed by the cool air conditioning and a nice woman with a box of samples. I took a milk chocolate, and my wife went with a dark chocolate. Both were delicious and we ate them as we picked out some lollipops and three selections of chocolates each. We were also given a scratch-off coupon for a future visit, guaranteeing that we will be back. This is the perfect stop for grabbing some See's without the hassle of walking an entire mall to find their store. Just pull right up, walk inside, and grab some delicious treats for yourself or as a gift. read more

Update!!! This location is now open all year with regular business hours!!! Yaaaay!! Always amazing and spectacular chocolates

This is a great See's. The people are friendly and helpful and their stock is usually better than the mall locations. There's not a lot of parking, but I'm usually not hanging out too long. Yes, it can get crazy around the holidays, but that's totally expected. The candy is fresh and you always get a free sample! read more

Have you had your daily dose of Vitamin See's yet? I came in to pick up a gift for a friend in this recently renovated location and what a treat. It has the same old fashion charm and black and white scheme. Free sample? Why not!? My top three favorites: - Polar Bear Paw: Roasted, salted peanuts and vanilla caramel. - Dark Scotchmallow: Honey marshmallow and vanilla caramel. The Dark Coffee and Milk Caramel Apple variants are also a tasty treat. Dark Scotchmallow as a pumpkin shape are superior than all the Scotchmallows. - Toffee-ette: Crunchy toffee with almonds. The holiday flavors are usually pretty great as well. I would argue that See's Candies are the GOAT of generic holiday gifts. Chocolates are more loved than the generic holiday candle and/or lotion set you can gift anyone. Who doesn't love a box of chocolates? See's has been around since 1921. That's 103 years of sweetness! Time to See's the day~ read more

See's Candies - While the tree is up, it has to be used as a backdrop, right? - Candy Stores Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

It was such a fun grand re opening, they remodeled after 20+ years in the same location. Lots of yummy free give aways. I stocked up on 8 boxes of the Egg Nog Truffles for my son. I live 5 min away so I'm a regular getting my sugar free chocolate bars and my guilty pleasure....a Bordeaux Bar. The staff in here is super nice and always helpful. Pricing is on the higher side but they are so worth it as a treat. I wish they had a frequent buyer program with free birthday gift and earning rewards. Who doesn't like free samples. Yummy ! My advice.. ..try something new with the free sample!! read more

Best chocolates and snacks with best ingredients. Love this place. Never disappointed.

I haven't been to See's Candies in ages but my Mom is Celiac and everything here is game so I went to pick her up some Bridge Mix but this was not the See's Candies of my youth. So much to choose from, top notch customer service and the quality is unbelievable. read more

I have enjoyed Sees Candy since I was a child going with my grandmother. Took my own children too. Always a treat and really enjoy the free sample. It has got a little pricy the past couple years so don't go as often as we did. read more

I have not been into this See's store location since the remodel (less than days closed to completion which should be listed in the Guinness World Record Book considering Mesa City's slow & draconian construction/building permit process). I'm looking forward to my next visit over due and soon! Impressive to seeing See's return to reopen this soon! read more

It's always fun to enter a candy shop and smell the wonderful chocolate! Today I entered this Sees and the smell of disinfectant totally permeated the air. I could hardly breathe. When the girl was packing my candy her thumb she had been cleaning with was touching each candy paper as she loaded them into the box. Seriously? How about cleaning when customers will not be entering the store! I had to leave. Will not return and I was so happy they are open again. I was going to spend quite a bit of money. Please rethink your cleaning practices Seeso others do not have to go through what I did. read more

Glad this location in Mesa by MCC is still open after all of these years. Really brings out my childhood memories and they always have a sweet treat to sample. Only bummer is it is only open seasonal. Call ahead before heading to this location. read more

Great staff were very helpful when I exchanged a damaged product. Will definitely be going back for more gifts

See's is so special and nostalgic, and the candies are in a class of their own. So now that my husband and I have health issues that require cutbacks on sweet and salty goodies, we get smaller amounts and savor them that much more. This cute little shop on Southern has always been my favorite, and I try to patronize it at every opportunity so it will stay open for seasonal treats. In the past staffers were so friendly and enthusiastic, and seemed to join with the customers in celebrating the See's heritage. Unfortunately recent visits to the shop haven't been the same. The workers seem more robotic and unsmiling, almost as though they're being watched. I recently purchased my small portions and got the feeling I was in the way. As I took my bag, there was none of the traditional exchange of thanks, just averted eyes and silence. Really disappointing, and far from nostalgic. But it won't be enough to spoil our enjoyment of the delectable See's candies. I just hope the shop gets back to its old self soon. read more

This was our first trip to a See's Candies store. We were greeted with a sample of the candy. We choose to do purchase a one pound box picking out the kinds that we like. It was a great experience. read more

Why is it that every holiday See's only has two people working. There is a line of 15. Been in line 15 minutes and they have served 2 people. Innovation needed. read more

See's Candies - a group of people standing in line at a counter - Candy Stores Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I went there at 10 a.m. on Easter eve and the place was packed! They are a well-oiled machine. There were two people behind the chocolate display, and another employee working the register. There was a guy ordering, sheesh..200$ worth of assorted chocolates??? Maybe more?, and the person helping him was a total pro! He offered suggestions while another lady quickly packaged the items. Anyway, my family had been visiting this location for about 25 years for ribbon candy, stocking stuffers, etc. I've never had a bad experience. Lastly, the candy is incredible. From the sour gummies to the truffles... it's ridiculously fresh and incredibly balanced (never too sweet, sour, salty) . I love that they are still popular and clean and friendly as they've ever been. read more

I love See's candy!! I love that we can have something new every holiday, the eggnog is my favorite, and then mint, and then ginger, and then coconut, and that's in order. The service was really great, and they really listened to my desires. I'm not super picky, but I do appreciate when I'm the focus of the conversation. Thank you See's! I'll be back! read more

God my wife some candies for Valentine's Day. Stopped at a temporary See's on Ray Road near 54th street in Chandler and then went on to the See's in Mesa. See's never has disappointed. read more

How is a store like this not open later than 7:00 less than a week before CHRISTMAS?? What about the people who would like to come after work? Big open sign on building, little closed sign on window. I guess I have to go through the hassle of parking and going inside a huge confusing mall to get my gifts. read more

Yelp says it opens at 9am. Google says it opens at 10am. So I went at 10 am. Waited until 10:10am and the store was still closed. Wasted my time there. read more

Really annoyed right now, this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks that I have stopped at this location during, what Yelp tells me are business hours, and there's a huge closed sign in the window. read more

I really like the service at this location, it's much better than the Chandler mall location. No matter how busy this place gets you are ALWAYS greeted with a smile and a free sample. The staff is very knowledgeable about the product and the candy itself is consistently superb as expected. When I want See's Candy this is where I go! read more

I do believe this store is closed. Nobody answered the phone there on a busy Saturday afternoon. I won't waste my precious time going to look. read more

See's candy speaks for itself, and indeed sells itself, but the service at this location is awful. I go to avoid having to go into the mall at Superstition, but after today I will gladly brave the mall when my girls want candy. I will save you the diatribe but trust me, the service at this location is very bad and I will never ever go back. read more

I walked into this store to buy chocolates for Mother's Day. The store was busy with a long line. I think Warren Buffet must have decided to go with the "I love Lucy" chocolate episode act for the day. Lucy and Ethel were the only 2 working behind counter and could not mentally keep up with the growing lines with their apparent flusterings. Their comedic inability to multi task did not help with customers who could not make up minds on which chocolate to choose and kept wanting chocolate choices listed under the "out of stock" list. Poor Ethel looked like deer in head light only kept glancing at the wall clock for her shift to end, but to be met by an unfortunate phone call for a large special order. I think Lucy at some point started to tell the people in line with rolling eyes that the Chandler Mall store has more chocolate selections left. At that point, I paid for my box of chocolates. Asked for a sample truffle and bid Lucy adieu. The chaotic service would have landed this store a 1 star from me, but the side comedy earned them an extra star. read more

I shop here every other month for my Dad. Today, the day before Father's Day, with a line of 9 people management thought it wise to let staff leave for lunch. By the time the very helpful young lady waited on me, the line was put the door. read more

Their hours are really bad, and like everyone else said- they never really bother updating things like yelp to let people know they are not open. Tried to go here today, apparently they are closed until mid april and only open for a few weeks. I actually like the Chandler fashion center see's better, they seem to be open more and you don't have to go out of your way in case it isn't. read more
