I walk in see the sign in from stating that employee was stocking ice and to ring when ready to pay, I did just that filled up on water and got myself an ice cream cone but clearly looked annoyed the whole time. We usually stop by here on our trips to visit grandma in Arizona because they have so many different kinds of Thrifty™ ice cream! These ice creams can be somewhat difficult to find since Rite Aid bought out Thrifty's - and most places don't have some of the more exotic kinds they have here - like birthday cake, pecan praline, and coconut pineapple. They also have the classics like black cherry, rocky road, and rainbow sherbert. Overall there are around 20 different flavors to choose from - so this place is always a hit with the kids, both big and small. Though the prices are a bit on the high side, this is not the kind of place you go looking for a bargain. They offer something special and convenient so it's worth the price. There are a few other things they offer, including ice, filtered water, water bottles, dispensers, and other equipment. They also have candy for sale and a few other things. Overall this is a "neighborhood" type ice cream shop that is totally mom-and-pop style, so drop by and support it if you are looking for some tasty ice cream! read more

I went to Sandee's water and ice to check it out and see if I could find some ice cream. I walked in and was greeted with an enthusiastic smile. The lady behind the counter explained the ice creams they had and which cones they had. They have regular, chocolate covered with sprinkles, and chocolate covered with nuts. The selection of ice cream was so yummy! I went with a strawberry cheesecake. The ice cream tasted SO GOOD and creamy. It hit the spot. The establishment is clean and smells clean. The prices are great for water, ice, ice cream, and candy. I will be visiting again very soon. read more

This is my Water and Ice. I am so happy with the owners that are there now. The hours are better and the shop is clean. Actually open on Sundays. The goose neck water faucets are a bit loose, thats why they get the 4 stars and not 5. I am hoping they get these fixed. Side Note: I have purchased water bottles from WalMart and they are brittle and crack very easy. We now buy the BPA free bottles from Water and Ice. They are a bit more expensive but you get the 1st fill up free. Trust me they will last. read more

This place is lots of fun to hang out with the family. It's much bigger than the Water & Ice on Lindsay. There's lots to choose from, and they have coloring books & games to play. However, my main reason for writing this review is because the customer service is top notch. The girl behind the counter, Zelda, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to cheerfully answer all the questions we had. This is our go-to Water & Ice place. It's clean, close by, they are friendly and have some fun goodies to choose from.

Friendly staff and good service. For a dollar they will wash out your container with a special solution, so if you are lazy like me and hate dealing with that kind of stuff, this is a great service I washed all my bottles , and that musty water smell now is gone, smells sterile like it should. Also, they sell Kangen Water for a dollar fifty a gallon, if you like alkalined water. The Thrifty's Ice Cream tasted fresh and good. One more thing they have these Turnstyle knobs that automatically pump the water out for you, so you don't have to hold the lever if you don't want to. Which is pretty cool feature. read more

Under new management... Old management allowed you to save about a nickel a gallon if you bought cards in advance and in bulk. Well new management is not honoring these cards (which they don't legally have to). I lost about 40 to these cheapskates. Congratulations, you saved a few dollars in the short term, but now you lost a long time customer forever. Business 101genius. read more

DO NOT come to this location. Employee "Hayden" thinks its a laughing matter to serve kids expired food and condiments! We're so upset at the service and unprofessionalism that we yelped it and contacted the Health Department immediately after returning home. Among a MULTIPLE of horrible experiences within 10 minutes, the straw that broke the camels back was when the worker jokingly pulls out an unlabeled white Styrofoam container full of condiment and jokes with his co-workers right in front of us "Dude, its been expired since June" and chuckles. I demanded my money back and questioned the kid "YOU GAVE MY 5 YEAR OLD EXPIRED TOPPINGS LAST WEEK AND YOU THINK ITS FUNNY". We walked out and alerted the Gymnastics gym next door and all the parents about the situation. Oh and to top it off, "Hayden" and his horrible sarcastic attitude thanked me personally for cleaning the table we sat at just as i left the store. read more

Prior to new management I always had a 3-5 star experience. Unfortunately, the previous owners started to let equipment go into disrepair, so it took longer to fill water jugs (could only do one at a time). I expected the new owner to fix all the broken water spigots but there are still 2 that are broken. The ones that were fixed don't appear to have been fixed with new parts. It has been over a month since new management took over. More than enough time to address all deferred maintenance. It makes me wonder what the customer doesn't see that is still in disrepair or dirty. In addition, they raised their prices. I'd be ok with that if the place was updated (clean and fresh with all water spigots functioning), but that is not the case. In addition, they no longer honor the pre-paid cards ($10 for 50 gallons filled). This tells me the new management is more interested in money than keeping inherited customers happy. That seems to be very short-sighted and unwise to me. After frequenting this business for the last 8 years, today is probably my last day. read more

I have been getting my water here for years with the occasional teenage worker type problems but tonight was ridiculous. Fifteen minutes before it closed, I pulled up and there was a truck parked diagonally across about 4 parking spaces right in front, blocking anyone from parking too close to the store. As I backed in I could see that there were 3 teenagers inside the store messing around. As I was sitting there about to get out, one of them grabbed some keys and locked the door! They then proceeded to laugh and goof off inside the store, occasionally looking at me. I was dumbfounded and immediately left to go to the other Water & Ice a couple of miles down the road. It's just as close to me so it's easy for me to switch. Hopefully the owner will read these comments and make some changes there. read more

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! I went in with my water card that had 40 gallons left on it only to find they were not accepting them as part of the new ownership deal. Fortunately, you saved yourself 10 bucks. Unfortunately you lost a customer who has been using your shop for 5 years. Worth the extra drive for me to fill up elsewhere.
