I've never met a World Market I don't love. It's so fun to browse and shop in this store that specializes in unique imported goods from around the world. I always say I'm just going to look but always end up buying something. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted which was very nice and there was a coffee and tea sample section. I decided to sample Harney & Son's invigorating peach flavored black tea. I'm not a tea person but it was so good! I could really taste the sweet peaches with each sip so ended up buying some. Samples never fail haha. I love the wide variety of furniture, home decor and gifts throughout the store. My favorite section though is their amazing food and snack section from all over the world. There is especially an insane amount of Asian food, snacks, and condiments. Chances are pretty good I will find something I've never seen before like the Korean Ramen Crate that has 8 different types of Korean instant noodles with 2 pairs of chopsticks. How cool! I did refrain from buying it as I kept telling myself that's just a lot of unhealthy carbs:) It was still fun to discover it. They also have 2 kinds of memberships so you can save money. The explorer membership gives 15% off the first purchase and 5% back in reward points. Premier membership gives 30% off first purchase and 10% back in reward points which I think is very generous. read more

This is a nice World Market location. It's well stocked and well maintained. World Market always has something unique so it's nice to have time to browse the wide selection. The staff is typically friendly and helpful if you need help, but largely they leave you alone to browse. I'm definitely a World Market fan and this location is one of the best. read more

The stores are still a fun place to visit, with fun items throughout the store, including their own line of coffee beans, food treats, kitchen stuff and so much more - even interesting furniture. CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It's NON-EXISTENT!! We both some patio (outdoor) furniture, April 2024; by October 2024 the fabric was ripping and rotting away. I sent several emails, to the address on your website and each one was bounced back. I went into the store and the manager told me there was nothing that she could do and I would need to email corporate. When I explained I had done that and the emails were bounced back, all she said was "sorry, there is nothing I can do!". I came home and wrote a review and someone responded. I explained the situation and sent pictures. I was told that they were contact the store manager and the regional manager and someone would get back to me. I have sent several emails back to this person letting them know that nobody has contacted me and they have not responded either!!! I paid OVER $1,000 for the 3 pieces... this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! We can't even use this furniture!! The first two pictures are from the original rip, the third on was taken April 2025!! If someone would've contacted me from the beginning, maybe they could have just replaced the cushion; instead they are getting bad reviews and I am writing them EVERYWHERE!!!! read more

Walking into World Market is like going on a fun trip around the world without leaving town. Every visit is a new adventure, and I always find something cool. First, the furniture. They have so many unique and stylish pieces that can make any room stand out. It's a great place to find something different that you won't see everywhere else. Came in here looking for a few items. Ended up leaving with the couple original items as well as a bunch of food products from several countries to try as well as a pair of earrings, some candles, incense, lotion, flowers, and a lamp. I'd say it was a very successful trip. LOL!! I was really hoping to find some food items from Finland, Sweden or Norway but didn't see any. So that was a bummer but oh well. Love all the Christmas items they already had out. I'll go back for those another time. I seem to spend a good part of an hour in the store every time I go just browsing each aisle. This is my go-to spot for unique decorations for the holidays and non-basic gifts that will impress. Good selection of wines and home and kitchen items as well. Pro tip: sign up for their rewards emails/texts and you will often be texted about coupons and rewards vouchers. It can be a bit pricey but they often run sales and put seasonal items on clearance. I never seem to head to World Market for anything specific. It always seems to be one of those places where I "just take a look" because I am nearby. Unfortunately, even though I am just looking, I always seem to come out with something--usually a number of "somethings". I can't avoid the food aisles. I don't really need Praline Mix or Honey with nuts but it just ends up in the cart. They always have a great tea selection and I always find a new wine to try. On some things, the prices seem high, but I've picked up some real bargains on the clearance aisle. It's worth checking out. read more

I love this World Market when you're shopping around for unique gifts, but when you try to buy and pick up an order, I had such a hard time getting my items. I placed an order the morning of and I was waiting all day until it was closing time and they never sent me an email saying my order was ready for pick up. So I called them the next day and they told me they couldn't find an item that I got so they were going to fill the order without it. When I finally got to pick up my order, the item that was supposedly not found was dead center in the front and I found it in 2 seconds. I brought it up to the cashier to collect my order and they said they couldn't give it to me when it was still charged. I didn't want to pay full price because I had a discount for that order. Come to find out that when I called the customer service line, they never had it as cancelled, they had it as back ordered and was still going to charge me the full amount. Even the customer service person said she had no idea why they couldn't give it to me. The time and inconvenience it took when I could've just went in store was not worth it. Snacks and furnishings! So my son and I had some to kill before we picked up my daughter at the Phoenix-Gateway Airport. We decided to check out the strip mall on Power Road. Target, Michael's and World Market. We decided to try World Market. I had heard they might have interesting snacks and such. We enjoyed looking at couches, chairs, cushions made in countries around the world, but our eyes and stomachs lit up when we saw some of our favorite products: Bundenberg Ginger Beer, Violet Crumble, Aero Mint Chocolate. They also had a nice selection of Glico Pocky and Hi-Chew. We will look for other World Markets now! I am glad we walked in. read more

The workers here are not smart ! Every time I go I am buying gifts and I ask for a gift receipt as I'm checking out. Every time they forget to do whatever they need to do to print the gift receipt and then they offer no help at the end of the transaction when THEY forgot to do it . Ridiculous that you can't remember for the less than 1 minute you are checking someone out to print a gift receipt ! Granted the world market system is archaic and has no option for them to print afterward , but even so it should not be difficult to remember for 30 seconds that you need to do as the customer asked and print the receipt . read more

The staff was very helpful and their snack selection is great; I highly recommend the spicy dill pork rinds by Southern Recipe, and the chocolate oranges. Boiled down: I found something I wanted on their site, but went to the store to look at it in person and to browse around. When I got there, I noticed that the price online was lower than in-store -- and confirmed it via my phone. I asked the cashier nicely, and they refused to price-match (two whole bucks). So I asked to see the "manager" who was mind-blowingly rude and unhelpful. No apology offered - totally the opposite - and she essentially said they won't price match the web, and they have lower prices on their site because they gouge you with shipping and "handling" fees, etc. (Super bitchy about it all.) So I left and spent my money elsewhere. After about a month (cooling-off period), I finally wrote Cost Plus' home office about that horrible manager person, plus to suggest that they say something on their site (like Home Depot, etc do) informing customers that in-store prices may not be the same, yadda. Never heard anything back from them at all. Conclusion: They could not care less. (Also know that this is a store I have been going to since I was a little kid -- they're from the Bay Area.) Therefore, I'll never set foot in Cost Plus again, and hope to enlighten others about their crappy business practices. :P It's not about the two dollars -- it's about the total disrespect for their customers. Big, bright store full of so many goodies you can't possibly see everything. I love to browse when I have time to kill, and I always find something I can't live without. This place is a necessity when your kiddo is doing a report/project on a foreign country at school. If you need some sort of craft, item, or food from a far off land, World Market is the place to go! Cost Plus World Market is a dangerous place for me. I always love everything in the store and can never seem to leave without dropping at least $40. I bought some of my furniture here awhile back and it's definitely stood the test of time. The quality is really good especially with the wood products. Lets talk about the mini food area - this is truly my paradise! Since moving to the USA it's been very difficult to live without the comfort foods of home like Cadbury, Nestle, salami, delicious curries, etc. There's even candy from my childhood and hard to find holiday delights like Stolen, Mincemeat pie, traditional shortbread... I could go on and on. They also have a great selection of beers from all over the world and some great wines. Sadly, I've had to limit my visits here as my pantry will explode from all the delicious treats I keep coming home with. read more

I enjoy shopping here, but after our recent first time buying furniture here, I'm not sure how this place stays in business. We bought a table, 2 chairs, and 2 benches to be delivered, (one of which would be special ordered since they only had one in stock) as well as a small bookcase that we brought home ourselves. Once we got the bookcase mostly put together at home, we discovered the top piece was not in the box. We called the store and luckily they were willing to take the top piece out of another box instead of having us haul back and return the entire bookcase. We were also told they'd made a mistake and the bench they'd sold us that was to be delivered wasn't in their warehouse, and wouldn't be included in our delivery. We needed to pick up both the benches ourselves at the store once they were in stock, which would be a few days. The table and chair delivery went well, we just had to head back to the store a third time to pick up the heavy, oversized benches despite the free delivery special. Overall, we're happy with our purchases, but tired of jumping through hoops to get them. I think I'll stick to buying snacks and kitchen items here from now on. read more

Love world market products but the management at this store is something awful. I had to deal a few times with one of the main managers at this location and he was so sassy/rude and so dismissive. Just expect zero customer service when purchasing from this location. I go to the Tempe location now because I refuse to purchase from this location anymore. It's not worth the negative experience. I placed an order for outdoor furniture 4/1/20. 3 pieces. I received piece1. Then a week later I received a second piece. I am still waiting for the 3rd piece. I have had notifications that it is on the truck, off the truck, back on the truck with scheduled delivery. Back off the truck. And now no mention of where it may be. Does not show delivered anywhere. I have called numerous times only to be put on music 40, 45 minutes with no "live" person ever answering. I have tried to email with the response " we are behind due to covid19" but still no resolution. So I tried to reorder the 1 piece today with no luck.
