Nobody ever reached out but about 24 hours later somebody finally showed up at my door without even calling or communicating they'd be there, by then I had already had spectrum set up and running in my house. When I realized they added these two items, I asked her to remove them. She removed the AI Pro but told me Verizon Mobile Protect is a requirement to upgrade and you have to keep it for 3 months. I went into a DIFFERENT store and they took it off with no questions asked, as it is definitely not a requirement to upgrade. Also, there was an error with the transfer. This young lady assured me this will be fixed within 24 hours. It was not. I came back into this store and she assured me she will reach out within a couple of days. It has been a week and I have not heard from her. Again, I went into a DIFFERENT store and they fixed the problem immediately. Be cautious when visiting this store. When upgrading your phone or changing carriers, they may add services and claim they're mandatory. This store seems to take advantage of customers and offers little help when issues arise.

The folks in front of us just wanted to give someone our cable box because we were cancelling cable but keeping internet. I hadn't been in a Spectrum store in years, and they were going after the cell phone market. It looked like an AT&T or Verizon store, but it just felt odd. The phone selection wasn't as great as at places like Best Buy. After about 10 minutes, we finally reached the counter, and they were nice enough. They scanned the box, typed a lot into the computer, i. All in all, it was a truly unforgettable experience.

Bit by bit, Spectrum had been raising my bill for basic Internet to $100 per month, so after 12…read moreyears of being overcharged, I fired them--or at least, I tried to do so. I contacted Spectrum via chat, stating I wanted to discontinue service. Their chatbot told me to call a number. I called and stated I wanted to quit service, but they put me on hold and then hung up on me. Next, I removed Spectrum as a payee with my bank, but Spectrum charged me $100 anyway. (I contacted my bank, and got that $100 back.) I asked Spectrum via phone to send me a paper bill. The rep agreed, but I never got the bill. I later asked Spectrum where I could turn in their cable modem, but the chat employee would not help. I had to find the store on my own. This store gave me a receipt for the equipment and the closed account, but it apparently did no good, as you'll see below. I figured I owed Spectrum some money, so I contacted them via chat. The rep insisted I pay the full $100 monthly bill, even though I hadn't received a full month of service. She stated that "all companies bill this way." I stated I would pay what I owed them: $50 for exactly half of a month's service. The rep asked for my credit card info and then she disappeared. When I got back to the chat 5 minutes later, I saw that she was asking for another $5 as a "convenience fee". I did not pay. I then contacted Spectrum to ask for a billing address where I could mail them a check. After wasting more of my time, that rep finally gave me an address. I mailed a $50 check to settle with Spectrum, but soon thereafter, Spectrum sent me an email stating I now owe them $225! And for what? Late fees? Next month's service on a closed account? Did this store even tell corporate that I quit their service? (I swear, you can't make this stuff up!) Since then, Spectrum has been calling me and messaging me, trying to collect $225. You need to avoid Spectrum LIKE THE PLAGUE. They overcharge; they creep up the monthly bill as a twisted reward for customer loyalty, and their customer no-service, both chat or phone support, is clueless, worthless, and a waste of time. If you need Internet, instead consider getting a wireless hot spot and service wtih Verizon or T-Mobile. Avoid AT&T for all the same reasons as with Spectrum.

I am blown away by the customer service we CONSTANTLY receive from Fiber Internet Center. We recently had a project which required us to establish a private connection to another large movie studio for some huge data transfers (think 5TB files). This was extremely time sensitive and could have cost us a lot of money if it wasn't done quickly. I reached out to Fiber Internet Center and it was done within a DAY. Normally these connections take 2-3 weeks for set up, but I told them about the urgency of the project, and the next morning I got an email from Bob saying that it was already done. They go above and beyond, even reaching out to the studio to make sure everything is working on their end as well. I expected to have to do this myself, since most companies wash their hands of the project once their end is done. I really can't thank them enough. Their customer service on top of the fact that they provide us with more than a gigabit of throughput puts these guys way ahead of the game. Our connection has been consistently reliable, and the VERY few times it isn't, I know exactly what's going on, and am never left in the dark.
