Do not get this service! Tried calling three times because my internet went down. Sat on hold for five min each time I was the. Then the phone would ring forever and then they dropped my call each time. In my 10 years with spectrum I never had service this bad. Going back to them. This is unacceptable. The low prices are not worth it if their products doesn't work and nobody can help you. Updated: I finally got through to someone. My internet was down for 4 hours. They said it was my equipment that was bad and they'd send someone out to look at it, but they weren't sure when they would be able to get someone out. I let them know. I work from home so it is very important. Also, I was disappointed that after only three months their equipment died. The next day I waited nobody ever called me. Nobody ever reached out but about 24 hours later somebody finally showed up at my door without even calling or communicating they'd be there, by then I had already had spectrum set up and running in my house. I had called and cancelled my service and they still sent someone out to fix it! read more

Wow--some of these negative reviews feel incredibly short-sighted. After years of suffering through painfully slow speeds from traditional ISPs, I was thrilled at the opportunity to finally get fiber. I signed up immediately and waited patiently as they cut up the street, ran the cables, installed the hubs, and tested everything thoroughly. After a few years, it was finally time to schedule my install. My neighbor got it first and experienced a few minor issues--but nothing worth running to Yelp Mommy over like some of these dramatic reviews. The team lead by Peter was responsive, helpful, and even worked with the infrastructure I had pre-planned to make the installation smooth. The internet speeds--especially the upload speeds--have been game-changing. I haven't been this satisfied with my internet since having fiber at my office a few years ago. Recently, we had a power issue that fried the modem's power source on a Saturday. While it was frustrating to go a day without service, they delivered a replacement by Monday morning. Honestly, I was more upset that my expensive surge protector didn't do its job! Overall, I highly recommend this service. They've been responsive, reliable, and the speeds speak for themselves. Don't let a few overblown Yelp complaints steer you away--give this service a try and experience the difference fiber makes. read more

SCE cut power to a part of Coyote Hills to upgrade their equipment yesterday. When they turned the power back on, our gigabitnow supplied modem failed and I called support to get a replacement. We waited all day till 10pm and nobody showed up. I am going to call them again tomorrow for a follow up to see if someone will come out as promised. Bottom line, the fiber internet speeds are great but this company has no support. So if you have any issues, be prepared to be without service for multiple days. read more

Fiber optic was installed 10/1/25 after 4 days , my internet went offline Failed!!!! , i called 2 tech support Jason & Owen , in 2 hrs apart respectively, i was told they were fixing the problem.. & one of the tech will be calling me for updates, however i waited from 0840 to 01400 today dates 10/5/25 not getting updates from any of the tech .. not even email ever gotten from tech support!!!! poor costumer service everyone's!!!!! think first before you commit for gigabit now.. read more

I live on a street that has AT&T fiber on only one side. I'm on the have not side. Being a former Municipal IT employee I knew of SiFi networks who contracted with the city of Fullerton in 2014 to install fiber underneath the gutters in the streets. This is the infrastructure used by Fullerton Fiber City. However this would ONLY be done when the city authorized major road repair (not just resurfacing) After waiting nearly a decade, my street was finally going to be repaired (only because of consistent flooding caused by several water main leaks). I called SiFi to plead with them to schedule the work but got no response. I called Fullerton Public Works to see if it would be scheduled and they couldn't tell me. However a couple of weeks after they completed the overhaul of our streets, they tore up the gutters and installed fiber! Awesome right? Not so much, that was in March of 2024. So I called in May of 2025 to sign up. No service available. I called and asked why there was no service when installation was completed over a year ago. I'm told it's complicated to connect the fiber back to them. I assure them that I understand the technology and ask, when that will take place. They will let me know. Today, 5 months later, I call again. Same answer. My theory... they are waiting for Fullerton to schedule road work to do the work necessary to connect to their fiber backhaul. My guess is that it saves them money in permits. Unfortunately for me, Fullerton has the worst streets in all of Orange County and that's because they DON'T do regular maintenance and only make major repairs when water or sewer infrastructure underneath the streets fails so badly it makes it mandatory. Fullerton Fiber is a pipe dream. If you can get AT&T do it. Waiting on Fullerton Fiber is a fool's errand. read more

Had a problem with power supply failure for the modem past weekend, while Gigabit office response, follow up and intervention on my behalf from their Seattle office was excellent the response from local provider here in Fullerton CA that they have subcontracted the support services is inadequate. Local company does not have any technician or hardware support personnel on weekends and one is basically dead in water waiting for them to open on Monday, hence no internet, WiFi, TV or phone for 48 hours read more

They showed absolutely no urgency in resolving the issue--no estimated time for a fix. Our internet has been down for three days. I called tech support and went through troubleshooting, only to discover that the power supply cord was broken. They said a technician would call me to replace the cable. The next morning, I called again, and someone with an attitude told me a technician was scheduled to come out that day but couldn't provide a time frame. By 4 PM, I called again to confirm, and now they said they hadn't heard back from the support team but would keep me updated. Called again on the 3rd day, still same response! At this point, I have no idea when the internet will actually be fixed. read more

Been trying to get this service no one can give me a date it was supposed to be completed by end of 2024 it is now the end of 2025 and they keep saying it's construction delay the gigabit now is not responsible well just who is responsible in this terrible mess I'm just trying to get a date then when you ask them if there's somebody you can talk to they just go silent on the phone like they went deaf this is not very good support read more

Called regarding signing first service. EVERYTHING has to begin online, which is hard for seniors. Told them sorry cannot do it. Within 24 hours I started getting robocalls from telemarketers. Had not contacted any other service for months prior to them. My guess, they sold my phone number and I'm averaging 20 calls per day!!! read more

Modem went down and I called in the morning to get it fixed. Waited all day and no response from the rep. I called again with a 40min hold just to be told that they are waiting for the contractor with not other helpful information at all. No sense of urgency at all from the provider. read more

I wanted to update my review from a few days ago, (can't seem to figure that out w/out placing another). I have finally been contacted, (returned my emails), and was provided the info I asked for. The rep, Ben, was kind & professional in their message, including being apologetic regarding the response time. So, time will tell how they do going forward. I'm hoping this new service will allow me to stay "hard-wired" into my home to avoid unhealthy emf's from wifi. In a time when many companies and business' have let their customer service slide downhill, (some even Still blaming the shutdown), many of us are looking for companies who service their customers, not just sell, including having Real humans available to answer questions and help solve problems. read more

Internet has been down for 3 days so far. They said it's a power supply issue on the modem. They have no update or information on when they can get a tech out to replace my power supply. The tech company they use for repairs is a 3rd party - so there is no accountability or commitment on when issues will be resolved. I call every couple hours and am told there is no update and nothing they can do. read more

Good morning guys they installed Internet Wednesday morning while they were in the attic. They stepped on the electrical We have three rooms with no electricity called them back. They said they would be here on Thursday. Then they said they'd be there on Friday. They still have not responded and it's Saturday. Very disappointing. read more

Wow! I am just glad I read the reviews after I got their internet installed in a house in Placentia last month. Everything went smoothly. Zon and Ethan worked well together. They showed up on time as scheduled and finished in 5 hours. They figured how to get the wire into the house. I previously had cable company lines so GigabitNow techs had to get their fiber to the same location and I just swapped out the cable company modem and router with theirs. I have hardwire all over the house so that is good because as one other reviewer said, the wifi is great if you are in the same room as the router but drops down significantly if away from the area. I dropped this review by a star because my phone through them no longer communicated with the security alarm monitoring service. I had to upgrade my alarm system panel e.g. add a device that would not have to communicate with my VoIP phone. All in all, very happy with it. No problems with the internet since I got it three weeks ago. read more

Is good when it works. Service has been out all day, now they tell me they have 24 hours to respond or contact me. Not what I paid for!

I had service with this company for only a couple months now and they already disconnected my service without ANY notice to email, phone, nor mail. When I called, the service rep just callously told me that their notice was up on their website for a long time, but who checks the ISP website for anything other than missed payments, disconnecting service, and/or problems with connection? I think this is a big sign of how their customer service and their attention to customer service is going to be in the coming future. AT&T is soon going to offer fiber in Fullerton, so maybe that's something we can take into consideration. At least they have the common decency in notifying its clients of an outage. read more

I requested service for the Placentia area about 9 months ago and still haven't been contacted for installation. When I reached out to customer service (which has been about 3 times), I keep getting same answer, SoFi network is still working on connecting the lines and it's expected to be up by end of the month. We're in September and still nothing. What a scam promising residents they can get high speed fiber optics, and they can't get services going. Customer service doesn't have a clue what's going on and keep making empty promises. read more

Absolutely terrible. Don't get it. I have been without internet for 4 days for a mistake they did. They tell me they can't take my internet of hold until Monday. So I have 3 kids off of school for a break with no internet for the tv. Ive called several times and they tell me no one can fix it at this time, even thoigh they said it was their own mistake. read more

We had an install scheduled for 8am and they didn't show up until about 4pm. They dug a whole trench through our grass from the curb to the side of the house and when it came time to connect everything they said there was an issue on our street where the fiberoptic wouldn't reach our house... it's been about 3 months with no follow up and no body has come out to fix the issue under our street like they said. read more
