This review is for their manager, Ruben. I typically don't do reviews, but this one is well deserved. I came in last weekend absolutely torn by the bs i had to deal with for weeks with Apple. I was stressed and very very upset because i was unable to use my phone for weeks, and when i went to the Verizon store to reconnect my service to my new phone, Ruben was absolutely so wonderful. He let me talk his ear off about all the troubles i was dealing with over my phone. He was so kind to let me call Verizon off of one of their phones, and continued to help me even when the representative couldn't. He was so patient and attentive and helped me out so much. He was definitely a breath of fresh air from such a terrible day. He made the trip to Verizon so easy and quick and i was able to move on from my troubles. 11/10 service, thank you again Ruben. read more

This goes out to the entire staff from MAY 6, 2026. Never have I ever seen such a lack of effort to work/help/stop scrolling and these were not young people working during this shift. Couldn't be bothered for much, no energy effort. Super surprised at how bad service was. This is for the 5:20pm ish team. I get that already bringing in the device to port over from a different VZW must've been disappointing to not see me as a walking commission but the complete lack of effort to assist. Wanted $30 for what the Whittier store said would be free, walk into any store. BEG CORPORATE TO SECRET SHOP THIS location, trim all the dead weight because these folks are not there to work or even stand up. Really expected more; DO NOT GIVE THIS LOCATION YOUR BUSINESS. First time I have ever done a review. I see low they low reviews already do not come here. Immediately came in non of the reps have a personality at all. Because my nick name was in the the account and did not match my drivers license they would not replace my broken phone. We have 18 phones on this account. Did this at another location just 2 weeks ago no issues. I can see why all Corporate Verizon stores will close down Go to a non corporate store they will better service you. Very poor customer service Walked in with my son around 6pm the young guy to the left when you walk e in was talking to me and helps checking and texting on his phone on the same time. After 23 min he decided to tell me that he just checks in people and we needed to sit down wait for one of the 2 Agents working. The lady working seemed very busy and actually the only one working. The other gentleman just on his iPad no customers but seemed of being very preoccupied and just kept going to the back. We left about 45 min later not sure if the first guy even checked us ion. They all seem so bothered by any question you have. You walk in there and aren't even greeted. The man that helped me immediately became uninterested after I would not agree to any of the "offers" they had as I came in for 1 thing and already knew what I wanted to do. He went off to help another family that came in instead of finishing with me first and the next guy I asked for help in what to do next seemed annoyed that I even asked him for help. I had already sat there waiting for 10 minutes waiting for the guy that first started with me to come back and never did. I was not going to waste more time like he already did. I've been a Verizon customer for over 20 years. While I've had good experiences at most stores, this is the first time I was compelled to write a review for a store that had zero customer service. The two hosts that check in customers were extremely unhelpful and rude. I am traveling and my galaxy flip 7 screen decided to stop working. It's less than a year old and still under warranty. Because of the urgency of traveling, I needed assistance to replace my phone. As I explained my situation to the verizon staff, they said I was out of luck and could not help me. They offered to sell me a new phone, but not honor the warranty. I had pay monthly for the Asurion phone insurance. When I tried to file a claim through my laptop, it said that I had to got to the Verizon store. After the explanation, I asked what can I do to get temporary service to get home. They said we can't do anything and told me I was not leaving with a replacement phone. This is the first time I've experienced terrible customer service at a Verizon store. I will be filing a complaint with Verizon online to this particular store. read more

I have been trouble with my phone and I been to 2 different stores to reactive it and has not have an issue with any other store but I came across with a very rude and arrogant sales guy named Enrique that says there is a $29.99 fee. When I spoke to Verizon they don't understand why there was a fee to re active my phone. That they should have waved those fee for an existing customer. If this is the store you go make sure they don't add extra fee on your account. Would never trust this location it just happens to be close to work and I'm out of service. read more

I have been phone less for a week now after my devices were stolen. no one has reached out to fix the stolen phones, nor have I received any type of refund for the devices stolen from fedex. had to constantly reach out to them every time it's a hour + long call with reps giving the run around. and when you're on hold for so long the call drops and they don't call back. once I thought the issue was resolved came to the store and the reps couldn't process the order was on hold for 4 hours at the store and nothing got resolved read more

I had a payment arrangement but Verizon shut off our service a day before the arrangement was due so I went into the store to take care of it. At first nobody greeted my fiance and I because the 2 sale associates on the floor were busy with a line of about 5 people but in-between helping other customers John came up to my fiance and I to see what he could do, there was a line when we went so we waited about 45 mins to get an appointment so not too bad. A girl named Jocelyn helped us out and let us use her phone to call Verizon and take care of the situation. Verizon customer service and support sucks! Stay away from them. Never have I ever had such a hard time trying to buy a new iPhone 16 pro online! These guys are idiots and their online app sucks! I tried doing my application online got approved signed everything, put my imei trade in phone and got $1,000 off along with a $200 rebate online but at the end it only gave me $820 off which it said $1,000 after putting in my trade in information along with porting my number! After that I had 3 other associates not know what their doing put me on hold and hung up or just hung up and the last person since I made like 5 applications now want me to take a picture of my id and social which I never carry on me ever which would involve me going to my storage unit to grab it so at this point I'm feed up with Verizon for making my life so difficult to buy a phone when I have a credit score of over 800. Absolutely HORRID customer service. Walked in today (2/13/2023 around 1600 hours or so) after getting an Apple Watch at the Apple Store to get help with setting up the cellular portion. Enrique the so-titled manager (according to his name badge) was willing to help until I said I just purchased the watch from the Apple Store. His facial expression went from normal to a grimace/upset. Then he told me he couldn't help but I could take my chances and wait approx. 2 hours for help. And yet there were only 2 other customers ahead of me in the store . Next time you don't want to help customers, make sure your nonverbal communication (i.e. facial expressions) doesn't give you away....especially to a Psychiatric Technician student (which you clearly saw on my badge and patch on my scrub top) who knows the ins and outs of said nonverbal communication and uses it in the clinical setting daily. read more

Verizon is TERRIBLE! Verizon customer service is TERRIBLE! I need to TALK with a person...not a machine. Frustrations with security protocols far outweigh the benefits of using a mobile phone. Customer service is NOT TRANSPARENT! Won't tell me where they are located...have trouble understanding accents...they don't understand my accent. I need a list of words that I am not allowed to use (what are considered cuss words)...I've asked repeatedlynever received. Went to local store to cancel a line...the store tried to blow me off saying they can't cancel my account. However, I was persistent and it turns out they could help by calling customer service for me. I didn't have my phone with me...so customer service says they couldn't help me...but i was persistent and it turns out that they could help me. The store would not let me use the computers to help me cancel my account. Verizon has got you by the balls and making you accept their terrible service. read more

I have had Verizon fir years. And have had very good spervice.. and customer service. Dec 2021 we went into the store and bought 3 new phones again. The bill went up and for the next 10 months I let auto pay pick up the bill and never reviewed. My bad! To trusting! Stupidity! For the past 10 months I have been paying for insurance on home devices if which I dont even have. 25.00/?month? I'm happy to report that I stay with Verizon because they work with me and accommodate a credit because it was reasonable. I didn't order it so they took it off. My wife and I wanted to remove my 18-year-old daughters line off of our account and set her up with a new line of her own under her name to help her start to build Credit and teacher responsibility. We paid off the existing balance for my daughters iPhone so they can begin to start a new account under her name. The store representative, then set us up with another female representative by the name of Dan over the phone. Dan, While collecting my daughters information first and last name, address, etc., misspelled my daughters first name. Once after Dan collected the information she submitted it to the financial department and due to Dan misspelling my daughter's name, my daughter's account got red flagged for a potential fraud. At that point, Verizon had suspended my daughter's account mind you we had just paid off her phone in full for the purpose of transferring it under her own name. Upon contacting the fraud department through the 611 line they informed us that due to the misspelling of the name the Social Security number does not match and that is considered a potential fraud transaction. At that point, I simply explained to the fraud representative that was one of their employees that misspelled my daughter's name. The representatives that were at the Verizon location also attempted to explain to the fraud department that we did nothing wrong and Dan was the one who misspelled the name. Once we explained to the fraud department that we did nothing wrong they told us that unfortunately due to the name not matching the Social Security number that was submitted, that there was nothing they can do on their end due to her name being red flagged. The gentleman then offered us a prepaid plan for my daughter due to her name being red flagged. The fraud department was very rude and not helpful at all. Me and my family have since closed all of our accounts through Verizon and we transferred over to T-Mobile. T-Mobile was able to help my daughter get a cell phone and an iPad under her own name and create her own account and our monthly bill was exactly $225 less than what Verizon was charging us. If your bill is a little high, I suggest you definitely go visit your nearest T-Mobile location because they are exceptionally helpful and they will get you a better deal. Thank you for making this mistake. I would like to add that the representatives at the Verizon location in Anaheim shopping plaza were extremely helpful and friendly, but the representatives on that 611 line and the fraud department need to take classes in customer service. read more

Ripped off! I came in last April with my wife who needed cell service on my already established (20 years with Verizon) account. I was told she qualified for a free phone since we were adding a new line. Of course, we signed many disclosures, but didn't think anything of it, because we were adding a line. However, due to the tightening economy and family budget, we decided to change to another carrier a few weeks ago (1 yr 4 mo. later after adding her line). However, when I received my bill, it was $444.77. I actually though I might get a credit but found out I was almost $500 in the hole. After multiple calls to customer service, I was finally able to find out that we were signed up for a 3-year contract for her line. However, that was never discussed with us by the representative. Of course, they have me by the balls since I did sign all their forms. All I have to say is if they ever tell you it is free, it is not! Also, they are not there to give you customer service, but instead get commissions for all the plans and phones the set you up for. The are not your advocate and only want to screw you out of your money. This is the crappiest store I have ever dealt with and will likely keep me from ever going back to Verizon again. read more

One employee is good here, she is Ruby. The other two employees that my wife and I had the misfortune to engage with are terrible--one is the sales representative, Luis and the other one is the store manager, Ivan. First, Luis promised a great plan that later turned out not to be applicable to us. He promised a lot but did not deliver. He never checked the details. Then, there were issues with sending out our tablets. Ultimately, the store manager cancelled the wrong agreement and we received a bill for the tablet we no longer had because we had to return it. What made matters worst was that the store manager, Ivan was angry with us for calling and complaining to the 1800 number. Multiple calls later and long visits to the Fullerton store, we are still dealing with this issue. My advice, avoid this store at all cost. If you absolutely have to come to this store avoid Ivan and Luis. read more
