Finally found the time to visit Cosima after hearing and reading so many good reviews. We had reservations for four and when we arrived we were quickly seated. Our waiter was extremely friendly and patiently answered our questions. Before ordering, I tried a sample of some red wine but didn't really like it so I stuck with bubble water. The inside was very nice though a little bit dark, and it was quite warm inside. I ordered a few appetizers for the table; the meatballs and octopus which was absolutely delicious! Our main courses were also delicious though the portions were quite small. There is a charge for the bread, but it was very good. All in all a good experience and we enjoyed our meal.

This place has a great design and warm welcoming feel to it. The servers are great and friendly. The staff was my favorite part. I ordered the steak and it was cooked beautifully. I enjoyed every part of it and I would come here again.

I've been coming to Cosima for years for dinners but never enjoyed their happy hour until tonight. Had such a fun time at the bar enjoying the happy hour menu! The food and drinks were delicious. Our server was incredible! Found a new after work happy hour spot with friends. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

I truly enjoyed my experience at Cosima! The food was very different from what I normally eat, but I was open to trying new things and I was honestly so impressed. I went during Restaurant Week and it made the experience even more special. I had the chance to meet the owner and she was incredibly kind, just like the rest of the staff, you can really feel the hospitality. Complimentary valet parking was a huge plus and made the night stress-free. It ended up being such a great date night spot, even with my baby. It was a little loud, but nothing too overwhelming , my infant was still able to enjoy the outing and even sleep. Overall, such a memorable and enjoyable experience!

What is happy hour all about at Cosima? It's all about being understated and great! On this Friday around 6 it was quiet; but in an hour, more people. At the corner bar everyone stayed to themselves or their partners. I had my book--though always eager to chat with someone "worthy" if it happens! Anyway, enjoyed the understated elegance, cheery bartender and easy service. From a modest special menu...The red negroamaro was bold, the tapenade OK and the mini crab cakes on spiced aioli, divine! (I felt the tapenade had neither the olive and piquant taste I assumed nor the more puréed spread-like quality I prefer to better adhere to the breadsticks.) Although I rarely pay attention to happy hours, preferring dinner later, even while sitting at the bar (rather than at a table by myself as I used to)--I am looking to expand my happy hour bona fides and see what kind of people enjoy them! Bottom line: Cosima does happy hour sweet and lovely. And having my car valeted on a cold night is not too shabby either.

Went for restaurant week with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed this spot. Salmon app: pretty good! Fresh and flavorful Gnocchi al forno: cheese and potatoes?! No notes Branzino: so yummy! Loved all of the flavors and textures Braised short rib ragu: great flavors but wish it had more texture The espresso martini was also yummy! The desserts were okay but I prefer a sweeter and softer dessert personally. Overall, very good!

First off, if you're not familiar with the area you may get lost (like me). My GPS would only give me the address to The Mill. So, their entrance is NOT at 3000 Falls Road. I think all the properties share the same address. Don't turn LEFT/RIGHT on Chestnut. When you get close, look for the 1 Mill sign on the side of a building. You'll also see the Cosima sign. Had I been paying attention rather than depending on my navigation I may have see all of that. Then you drive down the steep driveway to be greeted by the Valet. Once you get down there, it kind of feels like a different place. Think Little Italy. It's cute, and the valet is free. Okay, about the restaurant. The ambiance is cozy with dim lighting, but enough to see and feel comfortable. There weren't that many people there, so it gave 'neighborly gathering' vibes. Like we lived in a small village, and this is where everybody comes to eat. Bri was our server, and she was GREAT! We were mid conversation about another restaurant that claims to have the best octopus when she revealed they also serve octopus. WINNING! The description is of the octopus (POLPO ALLA GRIGLIA) was that it was served over potato salad. What? Bri explained it was really just potatoes. And it was good. AND I also ate the potatoes. We also had the Burrata, which you can never go wrong with that! Those were appitizers. Our meal consisted of the fettuccini and Casarecce (which I had to look up because I had never heard of that style of pasta). My partner loves squid ink fettuccini and she was not disappointed. The casarecce dish was also tasty. Bri explained the sausage is made in house. It was delicious. I was kind of worried about having broccoli in my pasta, but it blended right in and actually gave it more umph! Lastly, there is the tiramisu! It was perfect. I wonder if the dish appeals to me because it has coffee, and I AM a coffee connoisseur side! Ha. This is a cute spot. Check it out.

First of all, I'm sorry I didn't post pictures of Cosima. It is beautiful. Be careful not to miss it on Falls Road. It is a sharp turn to get to this restaurant right next to the Jones Falls. Be sure to bring cash to tip the velet. Once you get used to the stunning beauty of the spot you are in for a treat. I sat at the bar for this trip, but service is excellent throughout the restaurant. I decided to try the new seasonal cocktail menu. Now I'm not going to like, read the descriptions and almost fell back on my standard old fashioned but I'm glad I didn't. The drinks we complex and tasty. Now the food. I was there for the Porchetta. Its pork on pork on pork. To me it is a magical dish. I unexpectedly tried the pizza and I'm going to have to go back to the bar for pizza and a drink. The crust was crispy, but not too crispy. It also was magical. I'm not going to review everything, you can feel free to look at the pictures and trust everything is good.

Cosima is my absolute favorite spot for branzino--I order it every visit and it never disappoints, especially with extra pesto. The arugula salad with olives is and pairs perfectly with the meal. On top of the great food, the staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Consistently outstanding.

The restaurant is beautiful and perfect for a date night. My favorite dish of the night was my appetizer: Gnocchi al forno. The gnocchi was soft and pillowy. The cheese was delicious with a top layer of crunch. My entree (Polpo alla griglia) was alright. I wasn't a huge fan of the celery root puree but the octopus was cooked perfectly. I had a great time!

I often forget about Cosima, tucked away in the hilly part of Hampden, I went for the first time a few years ago for restaurant week. It's a LARGE restaurant with the cutest outdoor seating area - it's right on the creek so it's a lovely spot to sit when the weather is nice. I read about their happy hour recently, so I went back. The service is great, I always love a place where they give you a carafe of water. The spritz were fine, I got a Spagliatto and didn't love it, but they had a great Vermentino on the wine list and it was delightful. The food was fine, we got fried olives (they became more addictive the more you ate them), the tuna stuffed pepers (lacked flavor), and white wine mussels. Since it's an Italian place there are no fries, and we asked for extra bread but it wasn't enough to soak all the delightful juices. I do think it's a great spot for HH and the place was BUSY on a Thursday, and happy hour goes until 7, which is really nice. I think the fact that they have Vermentino is enough for me to go back, the food was fine, nothing spectacular but definitely good.

"Hey honey, wanna go on a date tonight?" is literally how we ended up visiting Cosima. It was reviewed by a popular instagram food blogger that I follow: @charmcitytable & from there I knew it was somewhere I wanted to visit. Starting with the location, Cosima is pretty hidden, in a cool way. They have their own garage and offer free valet parking, which was an awesome touch. To be honest, everything was a perfect 10/10 for me. We had an 8 PM reservation & were immediately seated. Our table was secluded, our waiter was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, and offered suggestions, and things just went great from start to finish. He offered us drinks & we both selected espresso martinis. We split a Sardines appetizer, after deciding to live on the wild side and I was surprised at how good they were. The garnish, sweet peppers or onions, was a nice touch and we devoured them. The garlic butter bread was warm, as well as nice and fresh and their marinara was top tier. The Wife got the whole branzino fish from the seasonal menu, and I got the Italian meatloaf and we shared between the two of us. We both loved our dishes. The portions were big so we were able to take some home for lunch the next day as well. We finished the night with a glass of Cabernet, recommended by our waiter with a chocolate lava cake that we split. As I mentioned earlier, from the service, to the meal, everything was top of the line. 10/10 and we will be back.

Came here for happy hour with my bestie. Everything was absolutely delicious- especially their garlic bread, crabcakes, and olive tapenade on the happy hour menu. Great priced drinks $5-7. Bartenders are awesome- very helpful with ordering food and drinks. The vibe is also very romantic- dimmed lights and cozy. I want to come back for a date night with my husband. Did i mention you HAVE to get the garlic bread?

The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.

I can't speak on the customer service because I didn't talk to anyone. I ordered at the kiosk and they called my number and that was it. I paid $19.45 for my meal. I order a side of falafels (3) and the street bowl with beef flank, tzatziki, and mild red pepper sauce. The falafels were way too crispy. I feel like compared to other falafels I've tried these were on the hard side. Thankfully I had some tzatziki sauce to dip them in, if I didn't, they would have been a little hard to eat. The flavor was okay but the texture was not appealing. I really wanted to get beef shawarma but they were out so I opted for the beef flank. I wish I would have just gotten chicken instead. The bowl came with rice and a lettuce salad that was underneath the beef. I'm not sure if the lettuce had arugula in it as well, but the lettuce gave sort of a bitter taste which I did not care for at all. Did not taste good so I would add a lot of tzatziki sauce to it to cut down on the bitter taste. The beef was okay, nothing to rave about. I was just very underwhelmed with my food. Not sure if I would give it a try again. If so, I would definitely get something else or build my own bowl maybe. Try it for yourself and see how you like it.

We pretty much went straight to dinner we both wanted fish this particular evening. I had the LAVRAKI (BRANZINO) which was grilled with capers and oregano and my date wanted the snapper (LITHRINI (RED SNAPPER) , he loves snapper. Both dishes come with a choice of two sides which you can swap out. I chose the horta(field greens) and rice, my date chose the broccolini and roasted potatoes. To be honest the broccolini and roasted potatoes are your best bet. The horta was a tad bland for my liking and really need some seasoning. The rice was ok. For dessert we shared the baklava cheesecake. Soooo good. Baklava is my fave Greek dessert. They also have a nice cocktail and wine list. I plan on returning because they have a really nice happy hour with $1 oysters, $12 fish tacos and $7 espresso martini's, so that alone I am sold on.
