Angeli's Pick pizza on gluten free crust
Anna S.

I've had the opportunity to try Angeli's twice now and both experiences were pretty good. Each time I've ordered take out and it's been ready within 20-30 minutes. I love that they have two gluten free crust options available including cauliflower and gluten free flour. The first time I opted for the "Angeli's Pick" pizza which comes with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, caramelized onions, mushrooms and red bell peppers. I asked for the mushrooms to be taken off and they followed instructions accordingly. Overall, the flavor was good. The second time I got a pepperoni pizza and that was also good. I also tried their wings which were okay but not anything mind blowing. Is it my favorite gluten free pizza in the entire city? No but it's a close second and I'm glad to have a reliable and fast option nearby.

Great spacious interior. Very friendly staff. They are known for pizza, calzones & homemade bread. Appetizer: Portabella Mushrooms: Served hot with Fresh spinach and portabella mushrooms sautéed in a spicy cream sauce. This may be one of the BEST appetizers (massive portion, btw) that I have had in a long time. Meatball Sandwich Made with daily baked bread Marinara sauce, melted mozzarella and meatballs. Pepperoni Slice: very cheesy, pepperoni fried hard. DELISH!!!

Just had the weirdest experience at this place; my local pizzeria and one of my top favs, flavor wise. Even though I was 'compensated' for the error + the time; that ended up being more than I was told. Being asked what is wrong with my pasta even though it's painfully obvious that it's pesto and not the peppery - I was quite offended, ngl. Before leaving I asked if it's right since they didn't show it before packaging it. They said yes, and I roll out. At first glance it looks right but why are there black olives? ---- For context, I have order this menu item before (see 2-16-26 attachment) so I know what it's supposed to look like. Not only that, but their website menu provides a clear image of all their menu. As an introvert, their website format and content is great. Tonight, I placed an order as I entered and I even told the waiter (blonde one) that there was no need for rush cuz I just placed it. I sat there and waited 5m past estimated time on the web, they was getting lots of costumers so I don't want to pressure them. But she forgot all about my order because it had been ready and I ask the usual guy (soft baby face nice guy) to check on it for me. He hands me my order, I leave. I walk to my place, get home, serve the pizza and I get to my pasta. I opened it and it looked like tradicional pesto not the creamy one. Didn't even bother with it, I called them I can take it back, no problem, just want the right pasta. They give me a 20m ET and I left my place after those 20m. I get there and I'm expecting them to have my pasta ready to go, but no. Instead, the lady supervisor(?) takes the pasta, maybe talks or goes and forth with kitchen ppl. Then after 3m comes out to ask me what is wrong with it? *internal screaming wym? * I mentioned the nice guy cuz' even he can see that that looked like pesto. I had to show them the 2.16.26 image for reference, almost pulled up their website so they could understand that it was clearly not the right pasta. Nevertheless, lady acknowledges it after the guy agrees with me, at this point I was contemplating asking for refund and just go. But "Mr. nice guy" kindly offers me something to amend the error and after a brief thought I take it and he tells me 2 more minutes, which eventually turned to 5-6m. (50/50 moment, I don't mind since I'm close by BUT the place was packed and my social anxiety was spiking). Yes, I took a seat to wait. Then, my pasta comes out. I don't get to see it since they bag it before they pass it to the supervisor lady, she bags but does not show it to me to make sure it's the right one. I trust, leave and I get home ready to devour and in my pasta there it lay the not so friendly black olives slice... ---- :D their Divalo Pizza was delicious, I give them that for today's experience. Any other time, they really get my order and my stuff is good. The chicken in the pasta sometimes is a tiny bit undercooked but if you pop it in the air fryer it comes out super good too. Maybe this was my sign to order less often... Nice guy saves it, that's where the costumer service at.

First time at Baltimore and had to stop to get some food after getting off the train. Was craving some wings and pizza. Tried their diavolo chicken pizza, the Miro special, the portabella mushroom and the buffalo wings. Paul was great, got our orders in and let us know food would be out in 15. He brought everything out piping hot. We loved the portabella and the miro special pizza. We also started putting the portabella on the crust and eating it that way which was just great. The wings also hit the spot with the blue cheese dressing. Great food, great ambiance and great service! And there's street parking around, just read the signs, we got parking nearby which was great.

Really good pizza. The dough is really tasty. The old bay wings fried hard was also tasty

The 12" (Medium) Fresconi. There's plenty to split between two, but I ate it all solo. Judge ya mama not me.

So delish! I've been to this spot quite a few times but this is my first time trying their Fresconi pizza--it's a must try. I'm a new vegetarian and this pizza really inspired me to keep going. The ingredients are always fresh, the staff is very pleasant and the wait time is short. There's a spacious bar inside with tvs & there's also places to sit if you want to dine in Please give it a try.

We are new to the city and were exploring on Christmas Eve. When close to home, we saw Angeli's was open and decided to stop in for dinner. They have other locations around town, but from what I understand this one is new. The inside was bright and cozy with table and bar seating. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us. We ordered garlic wings and a slice of cheese pizza each. The wings were delicious, very tender and juicy with a nice char. The pizza was also great. I loved the flavor of the sauce, it was a good amount of cheese, and the crust was a good flavor and texture. I appreciated being able to try this spot tonight and will definitely return!

Good veggie pizza with unique veggies like cauliflower. Fresh and hot. We enjoyed our pizza by the harbor.

Stopped by Angeli's during their soft opening, and the experience was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they've transformed the space into such a cozy, inviting spot. Loved my espresso martini & the pizza was absolutely delicious--just as I'd hoped. Can't wait to visit again!

The good berry salad was so incredible. The goat cheese, cranberries, and corn were so perfect, I added grilled chicken- and it was so flavorful- not dry and not chewy. I can tell it's high quality. And I'm so beyond full and happy. My son crushed the cheese pizza. My husband (who said he didn't want anything) happily ate the chicken sandwich. I love how easy it was to remove or add anything online. My husband doesn't love mushrooms or mayo- and it was so easy to remove them. And the kitchen got the order perfect. The restaurant itself was so clean and well run. I honestly wish this place was closer to our house because I would order from here more often .... And I might if I can get it delivered somehow. Flavor was on point, and the small pieces were delicious. Unfortunately, many of the sprouts were huge and simply didn't cook through and were crunchy on the inside. If they either cook everything longer, or cut the sprouts smaller, this would be a killer combo. If you are in the neighborhood for jury duty, this is a solid option and offers a 10% discount.

Also ordered a Caesar salad which unfortunately did not come (again, the delivery had other issues so I don't think it was the fault of the restaurant). My bf loved the cheese ravioli. He thought the filling was tasty and enjoyed the sauce. Their red sauce is a more chunky sauce with onions which I did not taste because I'm not a fan, but he would get it again. I'm still looking for a smooth sauce for some chicken parm, but no worries since the menu here has plenty of different sauce options! I enjoyed the chicken francese. The chicken was very tender and it was a generous portion. I felt it could have used a bit more flavor, but the sauce was a nice consistency and the linguine was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the complimentary rolls that came with the meal. Overall, I enjoyed this spot and will try more items in the future!

Driving down York Road one day I decided let me finally make a pit stop into Baltoz. All of the baked goods displayed on the counter entice you to indulge in a sweet treat before ordering a pizza. My first visit I just settled on some cookies and a jalapeno cheddar bagel, since I was on my way elsewhere for dinner. But let me tell you how the chocolate chip cookie instantly became one of my favorite bakery cookies. And the bagel was decadent for my morning breakfast, covered in cheddar cheese with those crispy edges that bake at the base of the bagel. On my second visit I settled on their corn pizza since it was a different flavor combination, and it tasted like a slice of summer. Corn, basil, and ricotta, and you can't go wrong. And the staff has always been really pleasant with each visit. I'm a sucker for baked goods and a wood-fire pizza and I can say Baltoz has stolen my heart. Forno is officially one of those spots I will make the drive for. This was my second visit, and yes, I came all the way from Gaithersburg because the food is THAT good. It's a super cozy, family-owned, hole-in-the-wall Italian spot with such a warm, homey vibe. Nothing overly fancy or pretentious, just really good food, good wine, and the kind of atmosphere where you can settle in and stay awhile. The MUST order for me is the Arrosticini -- marinated lamb skewers grilled with lemon and EVOO and served with arugula. These are authentic Italian-style lamb skewers, and I'm telling you, you do not find these everywhere. They were so good we ordered TWO rounds. I almost went for a Third but they were sold out...no shame in my game. The fried artichokes were another standout, especially with the creamy cacio e pepe sauce. That sauce was so good I was dipping everything in it by the end of the meal. We also shared the meatballs, prosciutto burrata salad, and the Calabrian Sweet & Spicy pizza which is has fig jam, Calabrian chili, mozzarella, brie, and balsamic glaze. That sweet, spicy, creamy combo on the pizza was so good. We split a bottle of wine too, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable some of the bottle prices were. Sam took care of us and was incredibly personable and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We ended up lounging on the couch, sipping wine, eating amazing Italian food, and just vibing. Honestly, such a good date-night or catch-up-with-friends kind of spot. Everything I've had at Forno has been delicious so far. Can't wait to be back! 100/10 recommend. Worth the drive. Come hungry, order the lamb skewers, and thank me later.
