The Cheesy English is still my favorite sandwich! I just love the bread. For Americans, please don't expect this to be Jersey Mike's or another type of sandwich that is stuffed with meat. I recommended this place to a friend, and I think she & her husband had different expectations. Personally I love that the flavors meld together in perfect harmony, no one note louder than another.

A cute little sandwich shop that serves soups, sandwiches and salads. I had a special mushroom zucchini soup, and it was amazing. The green salad was very fresh and French bread of the sandwiches were unbelievable. There are plenty of seats upstairs and we saw a lot of people enjoying their sandwiches and chilling. It is self-service, so you have to order downstairs and bring your food upstairs. After you eat, you will put the dishes in the destinated place. Communication in English was not a problem at all.

Very friendly staff and the sandwiches are amazing. The bread they use is unreal. There will be a line but it is so worth it.

I am a huge fan of Cosi! Where else in Paris can you get a huge, fresh salad for about €10? I've been coming here for several years and they are SO consistent with freshness and interesting menu and very fair prices. After a long day, it's so easy to come in and have a great meal in a pleasant setting. It is fast casual so you order at the counter. Bread is fresh from their pizza oven and comes with the salad.

The bread they bake fresh daily is absolutely amazing! Very reasonably priced and delicious. A+

This is the small, unassuming sandwich shop that inspired and launched a chain in the US. I now can see why. I think the execution in this original location is much better than what I've tried in Chicago, so I can see where things may have gone off the rails in the US. I had the Tandoori Turkey, with a slaw, which was really delicious, a little spicy with a very authentic (in my perception anyway) seasoning. The amazing bread is what brings it all together, served fresh from their oven, it was a real treat, and highly recommend it.

What a terrific find! This sandwicherie is located about 10 minutes away from the Louvre: cross the Pont des Arts (...the one with all the padlocks) and make your way to rue de Seine, which is perpendicular to the river. The price is unbeatable: my sandwich was 5.50 Euro. The bread is fresh and delicious, and the ingredients are just as stellar. I realized after ordering that you can customize your own sandwich which is obvious enough to someone who isn't starving...but I took a sandwich with ricotta and walnuts and it was wonderful. I thought I'd take it to go and eat it in the park but couldn't make it out the door without taking a bite and then throwing myself on the nearest chair until it was all gone.

High quality sandwiches!! Fresh focaccia, slightly crunchy... mmmmm! Exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Medwedd with goat cheese, olive tapenade, cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes. It was scrumptious. Cute setting with upstairs seating and friendly staff, too!

Great sandwich place I really liked the sandwiches here. No outside seating All seating is upstairs No complaints no reason to not give 5 stars for what it is, a small sandwich cafe Great for Sunday's when a lot of places are closed

We stopped for lunch due to a TripAdvisor review and now I'm transferring the high rating over to my own rating home of Yelp. This is a perfect spot for lunch. The food comes quick and tastes good. The focaccia couldn't get better if it tried. Rest up upstairs while you eat. Enjoy the whimsical wall art too.

Really good sandwiches. The thing that makes them awesome is the bread. Menus with drink + sandwich + dessert 10-13 €.

These sandwiches are curated, edible pieces of art made with love by the one and only Alain. It's easy to see why they're so popular. People love the sandwiches so much that his stall inside Marche' Des Efants Rouges can see lines lasting upwards of an hour or more. And people stay in the line. We lucked out and only had to wait about twenty minutes. I tell you, I'd wait all day if need be. I often dream of the sandwiches we had and can't wait to have them again. A picture is worth a thousand words and therefore, my photos can tell you everything you need to know about how good the sandwiches were. It makes me smile when I look at the pic of us with Alain. What a wonderful human being producing wonderful food for the people.

I had the corn beef, which was excellent, with caramalized onions and lettuce and tomato and the stronger of the two cheeses (which they let me taste test). Don't forget to specify if you want a crepe or a sandwich! I got the sandwich. The staff spoke great English but did speak to me in French (someone learning, which is always a confidence boost). There are a few tables inside, but I would suggest taking it to go in the parc near by. Don't forget to get a drink! I enjoyed the sparkling grapefruit juice. Sweet but very yummy.

I whipped out Yelp and noticed that I had Happy Caffe bookmarked. I'm not sure how it landed in my collection, but the reviews were excellent thought it would be a good option for lunch - so off we went. Happy sits right on the street - it's a super small space with barely any room inside and several tables outside on the sidewalk. They did a good job making room for us - I have to say they mastered the art of optimizing what little space they have but even still be prepared for a tight fit. The menu has a selection of baked good, crepes, and sandwiches. We asked the employee working behind the counter what they recommended and he suggested the kebab panini as he sells many of them every day. We decided to each get one, which was served promptly. The sandwich wasn't my favorite - the chicken seemed a little off, and it wasn't that tasty. I wouldn't say it was awful, but I also wouldn't order it again. Looking back, perhaps I ordered the wrong thing (despite it being recommended to me). I'm puzzled by all these 5-star reviews - maybe the crepes are better? Two stars for the friendly and attentive service, but I would bypass this spot next time I'm in Paris.

Charcuterie did come with good presentation like wood board or anything but it was a good portion. I didn't read the menu closely and ordered charcuterie as soon as saw it. I wanted to have some cheese with it. I should have ordered assiette royale which comes with both meat and cheese. I also ordered Andrea which comes with burrata. It was great with salad and lemon shavings but anchovies were pretty salty. I suggest to eat it with some kind of bread. Between that two orders, I was stuffed and couldn't even finish it. We sat outside at one of their small table on the street. It reminded me of eating street foods in Asia; except this is in Paris. Charcuterie came with a paper box in to-go or take-out style. It had variety of cured meat slices. Meats had good flavors, textures, tastes from salty to spicy and tangy from lemon slices.
