GAMBERI - not worth $15 for this.
    Cynthia W.

Came here last week for dinner with a group of people. Their bathroom is weird, you go through some doors and up the stairs. I honestly thing it was the hotel bathroom? We started with some apps: FOCACCIA DI RECCO - love the thinness of it. Some pieces were a bit too salty though. GAMBERI - i think for this being $15, we could have gotten more than 5 prawns or at least be the really giant ones? I would skip out on this if i ever go back. My meal: LINGUINI VONGOLE - clams with a white wine. I like this as the sauce was a bit lighter, not as heavy. They give a good amount of clams! I forgot what drink I ended up getting, but it was nice and refreshing. The service was quick and friendly. I would come back. :)

Mixed feelings here, which I rarely have. We sat at the bar tables. I ordered a cocktail and my husband ordered a cappuccino. They came and were pretty good; although I've never had a martini come with olives that still have the pitts in them. It took average timing to get our appetizers, which is all we ordered. Once they came, we did enjoy everything.... But nobody checked on us after the food runner dropped them off to us. We sat with the empty plates for a very long while. When the server finally came over, he offered dessert. I ordered an espresso. That came quickly and then he immediately closed us out. It was an odd experience. Like I said though, food was great and we will give it another shot.

I came in to kill time before a show. Sat at the bar and ordered the cacio e pepe fries and a house white off the HH menu. I also had a Calabrian hound that was tasty I also ordered a small lattuga salad. I wanted to love the place because I have family that highly recommended it- but it was just a miss for me on the flavor front. I had high expectations/excitement for the fries, but they surprisingly just tasted like regular ol' French fries. The plus was the crunch. The salad was an odd mix of veggies- not for my palate. HOWEVER, keep in mind I only did Happy Hour. They'll definitely be getting a follow visit to try the full menu. I had made my reservation online and when they noticed my bday had just passed, they surprised me with a nice little bday dessert as well, which was much appreciated. Right now I'd have it overall at a 3.5 but look forward to finding the same love for it that the family has.

STACKED PROMOS - SF Restaurant Week deal $45 3 course dinner - Happy Hour 4?-5:30 (unsure of start time) They honored both at the same time! Such good deals!!!! $10 wines on HH! $10 apps, what more could you ask for? But what was more impressive was the food. Since I went with a friend, we ordered all the options on the SF Restaurant Week Menu. I had the salad, shrimp risotto and cheesecake. My friend had the meatballs, pesto fazzoletti and the panna cotta. All in all spent $85 including tax and tip (which was 2 drinks, calamari and the $45 dinner). All tasted excellent. I loved the space too!!! It's giving Italy summers. I would DEF come back for the happy hour!

Food- I tried the mushroom pizza and it was so delicious! Just the right amount of salt to bring out the flavors, loved the two types of mushrooms and the garlic is fragrant! Ambiance- Spacious large restaurant with really neat and trendy decor! Restrooms are next door in the hotel second floor Really appreciate the Free Wi-Fi Cost- After the SF mandated fee, taxes, and gratuity, the bill for a single diner one thin crust pizza was $33 Service- Service was cordial and efficient, quiet time during weekday lunch. I felt happy just enjoying some peaceful time, me and my pizza. I plan to come back to try the afternoon tea special (reserve online)

3.5 stars. Dropped by for lunch on a Monday afternoon very shortly after they opened and we were the first people in the restaurant. The waiter had a bit of a strange vibe; I couldn't tell if he immediately hated us or liked us, but he was cool and standoffish for the most part. However, I do give him credit for being really nice and bringing over one of every of their complimentary postcards from the front of the house and a matchbook for me when I asked him if the postcards were for sale or if they were free. He didn't have to do that and I thought that was cool of him. The decor is really nice here, definitely has those Instagrammable vibes and is going for the trendy, modern Italian feel. As such, the menu pricing reflects the area and those vibes. While it's not going to break the bank, it's definitely a splurge for lunch and not somewhere I'd come regularly as a result. I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese ($26) and my husband got the mushroom pizza ($25), while we shared the calamari appetizer ($17). The calamari was perfectly fine but a bit basic, and I likely wouldn't get it again unless I came pretty hungry on a second visit. The bolognese had great flavor and the pasta seemed to be fresh, but the bolognese was a bit on the greasy/oily side and the portion was pretty small, especially for that exorbitant price. My husband liked his pizza, but again, it was perfectly fine but slightly forgettable. I can't say that our overall experience justified the price tag. Twenty-six dollars for a bowl of tagliatelle in a basic ragu that any Italian-American learns how to make at home (and is always better than what you get at a restaurant) was nuts to me. It was somehow a dollar more than an entire pizza. And I've had calamari with more complex flavor at other Italian places in the Bay Area. So while nothing was bad and everything was pretty tasty overall, Corzetti isn't a place I'd recommend going out of your way for. I'd say it's worth checking out at least once, but whether you feel it's worth a return visit is going to be up to you.

[Worth noting that this restaurant is located in a hotel] The food here was genuinely good. It was flavorful, well-prepared, and fresh. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the kitchen. It was slow, disjointed, and felt uncoordinated from start to finish. Long waits and lack of attentiveness made the overall experience not worth coming back for.

I knew their Chocolate Budino was marvelous, so wanted to give the food a try! Brought my company team for a lunch during the week. Plenty of seating available. Maybe my expectations were too high due to how good the dessert was. Tried multiple dishes, but I can't really say it was impressive. Overall it's not a bad spot! Give it a try if you're in the area, although what you should really come for, is the Chocolate Budino!

Do not miss the Corzetti Pasta and the Ceasar Salad. The Corzetti was cooked perfectly. I have never had hen of the woods mushrooms but they were amazing. We came before going to Beauty and the Beast. I'm so happy and full, I hope I don't fall asleep! Thank you for having us! What a treat!

Being a vegetarian, i really enjoyed the fresh bread. The Lambruska wine was amazing in both flavors. This place is spacious and well lit. It is very close to muni. It is a good fit for date nights with partners and friends. Service was very much like eating at home.

First time here to celebrate a friend's birthday and was very disappointed. The only good part was that the staff was able to move our table to a booth when we requested. At the front stand, the hostess asked if we are celebrating anything. We mentioned it was a birthday and was very disappointed at the end when they said they don't do complimentary desserts or anything. I am not sure what the point of asking "are we celebrating anything" was then. They even cleared the table which made it seem like they were bringing out a birthday surprise. The food itself is mediocre. Our waitress said it was her first day and did not write down our order. We asked if the appetizers could come out before the entrees which she said she could do. Later, she came to tell us there was "miscommunication" with the kitchen and that all the orders will come out at once. Not a big deal, but then she disappeared and did not notify us if there would be a different waiter taking over her place or anything. We were stuck looking around for someone else the rest of the night. I would not really recommend this place; the ambiance alone is unfortunately not enough to bring our group back.

5% surcharge. They have good happy hour deals 3:30-5:30pm, which is nice for the pre-show cocktail. I tried one drink before the show: - 5/5: The pizza spritz, with Lambrusco sparkling red wine, is excellent. $15. But I recommend asking the bartender to make it sweeter; it needs 1/2 oz of simple syrup.

It was nearing the end of my night, and i was lucky enough to stroll past Hotel G and the signage for Corzetti. Being a lover of hotel bars, I had to check it out before calling it a day and heading back to my hotel. It was quiet this Sunday afternoon, so a seat right at the bar top (my favorite spot) was definitely available. For drink, I had the bees knees. A classic cocktail. It was everything I wanted it to be; sweet, strong, and delicious. I grabbed the meatballs as a quick snack, which paired well with my bees knees. I have fully immersed myself in the protein craze, so this were perfect. Saucy, meaty, yummy, and with some crispy bread to dunk in the sauce. Great little visit to Corzetti, next time i'll bring my appetite and grab an entree or one of their pizzas.
