I've been seeing Frenchie all over online for a while now and finally decided I needed to check it out for myself. It's definitely a cute little wine bar with a cozy, intimate vibe. We stopped in over Labor Day weekend and I was actually surprised by how quiet it was, which made it a nice place to sit and enjoy a glass without feeling crowded or rushed. Where they lost me was the wine pricing. The by-the-glass prices are pretty steep, with most around $16-$20 and Champagne at $25. I'm completely fine paying more at a wine bar for the atmosphere, service, and experience, but knowing what some of these bottles actually retail for, the markup felt excessive for what was being poured. They do offer a full food menu and some of it sounds interesting, but I wasn't impressed enough with the wine experience or value to want to stay and try the food, so I can't speak to that. Came here for date night and could not have picked a better spot. The name drew us in right away since we have a Frenchie of our own, and the place lived up to it. The food was excellent. Do not miss the burrata and the anchovy toast, and the pan con tomate is just as good. The wine list is great too. We ended up meeting the owners, who are genuinely wonderful people. They told us the story of how they started the restaurant and how they landed on the name, which made the night even better. We also got to meet their Frenchie, Dolcetto, who is usually tucked away in the back and is about the cutest dog you will find. Highly recommend for food and drinks. Stopped by here a few weeks ago on a Friday night to check out, went in for a drink and was surprised of the location. I've driven probably past here hundreds of times but had not known there was a store here, the atmosphere is nice inside, cozy and warming. Service was fast, I was immediately seated and was able to enjoy their white wine, but I really enjoyed their red wines! I saw some interesting options so I did the flight, and it was a great choice! Had the Cab, Pinot, and I believe the Merlot, all were great tasting but the one from Argentina had a wonderful aftertaste! Came here on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30pm. They open at 2. There was only one other person when I arrived. I sat on the bench with my dog. They are dog friendly and offered my pup some water. Service was great and the interior is very cute. I really liked the decoration and ambiance. We ordered Rose, Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc. We should have gotten a bottle to share but kept ordering glasses which in hindsight cost us more. I really enjoyed the Chardonnay. If you like your wine dry, I would recommend that over the Sauvignon blanc. The SB was sweeter and tasted more tart. For food, we got the deviled eggs, yuca fries, winter salad and the Peperonata spread. We enjoyed the deviled eggs so much that we ordered another plate. I also really enjoyed the winter salad. For my friends birthday we went to Frenchie's for brunch. Since I attended a Yelp Elite event here I have not stopped recommending this restaurant. Started with glasses of champagne with an order of their cheese board ( which I still believe is the best cheese board around). My guests and I ordered the beef steak on a bed of delicious greens but the meat was sooo spicy hard to eat The bday gal brought this up to the owner who didn't respond at all to my surprise. Once my friend arrived, we ordered the charcuterie board, tiradito nikkei, the grilled octopus, and a bottle of a chilled red to share. Everything was fantastic! The charcuterie board was beautifully presented and we enjoyed everything that was offered. The tiradito was bright and fresh! I sadly did not take a picture because we dived right in.
