Made reservations for a party if 5 AM n a Tuesday evening during the holiday and we were the second party there at 6PM. There was only one other party and made me wonder if the restaurant is really popular dinner spot or not!! We ordered quite the variety of food as we wanted to gauge the quality compared to what their tapas restaurants. Our order included the Patatas Bravas, squid ink paella, ox tail paella (special), octopus, shrimp, artichoke leaves, fried eggplant, and omelette along with a charcuterie board. The entrees were delicious. The ox tail paella was a major hit with the softest meat! Octopus was super soft, the fried eggplant was such a unique yet simple dish with such wonderful flavor! The omelet and Patatas were just ok for me personally. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We also opted for the almond cake and churros to share for dessert. Must admit the churros were the best with the chocolate dipping sauce. I could pass on the almond cake/tart! By the time we left, the place was packed with few people waiting! A great sign specially for the weeknight.

Great food, great service! My favorite tapas were the fried eggplant, tuna tartar, and patatas bravas. Happy hour drink specials were also quite generous. I would recommend this spot if you are looking for a casual, reasonably priced tapas experience.

We had a great time! Great food, great service! They move very slowly here and will not rush you... Corkage fee ($25) waived with purchase of a house bottle of wine, we had the Ribera duero tempranillo - excellent. My favorite items were the pork dishes. Great experience and ambiance!

Came for a friend's birthday and we had the tasting menu for 10 people. The inside was small and very cozy. The food was delicious! There was a huge assortment of tapas and it was just the right amount to try everything but also be very full! The staff was SOOOOO KIND! They gave us a free pitcher for my friend's birthday AND they let my friend take home the pitcher container! The overall experience was 10/10 and I would recommend to anyone wanting tapas!

We went here for my friend's bday, and it was a great experience! We did the tasting menu which was $50 per person. We were a party of 10, and we sat inside. It was a very special and intimate place. AMAZING vibes. We got our food pretty fast and all at once. The paella was last, and it was a lot. We had leftovers. The paella was so good. I had to take it home. They gave us a cheesecake with a candle on it, and the whole restaurant sang to her! Shoutout to the owner for being so awesome!!

Such a cozy little Spanish tapas spot; we came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was perfect for a group dinner. We made a reservation and preordered ahead, so the food started coming out almost right when we sat down, which was super nice. We had to order a lot to hit the minimum, but honestly everything was so good so no complaints there. Loved the tapas way more than the paellas tbh. The space isn't huge, but it has a really warm, intimate vibe that made the night feel extra special.

Delicious Spanish spot. The paella was fragrant with saffron, layered with tender seafood and perfectly cooked rice. Flaky, golden crust with a perfect crunch, and fillings that are hearty and flavorful. From classic beef to cheesy veggie, each empanada was comforting and satisfying. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, perfect for sharing plates with friends over a glass of Sangria. Service was attentive without being rushed, letting you linger like you would in Spain. Beautiful and spacious outdoor back patio. Plenty of street parkings.

Destapas is such a warm and inviting spot! I really loved the squid dish -- tender, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The sangria was also excellent, refreshing and not overly sweet, which paired perfectly with the food. I do wish the patatas bravas was more crispy and seasoned, but overall still pretty good. Our server Luis, from Madrid, made the night even better with his kindness and welcoming personality. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, making it a great place to relax over tapas. This is a spot I'd happily return to and recommend to friends for great food, atmosphere and drinks.

The food is amazing and service is amazing. The restaurant's patio has such a cozy ambiance. We loved it.

Loved the cozy interior here. I would recommend a reservation because it can get quite crowded. We enjoyed our pitcher of sangria. A bit on the sweet side for me but the fruit was yummy! My fave of the night was the pan con tomate with Serrano ham. Salty, chewy, amazing. The eggplant was also very nice. Super crunchy with a sweet sauce. Stop by if you're missing Spain!

3.5 stars Definitely a date night place or girls' night out (which is what I was doing). Made an online reservation and was seated promptly. We ordered a variety of items but my favorites were the paella mixta and our dessert, the basque cheesecake. Not my first basque cheesecake but I haven't had one quite like this before. Very creamy and a must try!

    The eggplant special....Great dish

Great place for tapas... Relaxing backyard setting with good service. My idea was to have some Paella... random Friday. There were a few glitches... my reservation didn't show. I had my confirmation and they promptly started our evening. Took us to the patio (as requested) but a bit of a hassle to take a table not right next to other patron. When I made a comment to the wait staff, they quickly moved us to better table. I really appreciate the flexibility and the helpful assistance. Anyway, started the meal with a few special appetizers. Fried eggplant : A+ (didn't taste like eggplant. Tasted light and airy...was actually fantastic.) Calamari: A+ , soft, fresh, delicious.... this is a place to always order the Calamari! It really was perfect. Devil eggs: A., very good, unique flavor... I'm not positive, but I'd say they add liquid smoke. Very nice profile. Drinks; were fine... Seafood Paella:... this is where the food fell off for me. It was lacking dimension for me. If compare to a plate of muscles... there was a few pieces of other fish and prawns, just tasted 1 note to me. In future... I'd stick with the tapas and just feast on the deliciousness. The small plates really were outstanding and the service was well done. Pleasant, helpful and overall nice evening. Thank you, Sharine

Came here when they opened at 2pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. The server was super friendly and sat us wherever we wanted right away. We ordered the seafood paella (put the order in before deciding on appetizers so the kitchen can get started on it), veggie empanadas, and prawn. The seafood paella was just what we wanted and a must-try! The veggie empanadas and prawn also came out hot and tasty -- I'd recommend these as well. Inside was a super great vibe and I'd love to come here at night to enjoy the lights and decor. They also have outdoor seating that I'd like to try when we go back!

Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

The high top tables were a bit wobbly, so we spilled half a drink on there. The drinks are strong. I recommend going upstairs to sit instead if you want to hear your friends better. The tables are bigger up there too. The rooftop was closed off but I'd like to check it out sometime.

The marinated artichokes were good, not amazing, but a large portion and pleasant enough. I wish they had more veggies or a salad option. The seats are not comfortable, this is not a place to come and relax with a book. The parklet seating is nicely sheltered from the breeze, but can be noisy. The music, outdoor setting, and service are all good. Flatbread was lovely and soft when hot, hardens to a crispy cracker when it cools. The Woody's sparkling N.A. rosé was a bit flat (flavor wise). The people were laughing, the drinks were flowing. It smelled really good, which we would later find out was from the food especially that Mac and cheese. We started off with different wines, some that Tom recommended based on what we told him we didn't like or did like. He apologized for our previous experience and was genuinely a nice guy. Honestly it's very admirable for a business owner to take feedback to heart and want to incorporate it. Plus he's a really cool guy when you get to know him. The staff was busy running around but still made time to come check on us. Our final verdict is we came on a bad day. This time we got the actual Waystone experience. We finally got to try the chicken bites with a creamy aioli, fries with yogurt sauce, and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese.
