Great spot for meat lover as they offer a variety of dishes, such as classic BBQ, burgers, burritos. They make the sauce in house and it enhances the flavor so much!!

This restaurant is such a gem! The building used to be an old movie theater, which already makes it super cool, and they've kept such a nice aesthetic--stylish, welcoming, and unique. Walking in, we were greeted by the friendly staff who even brought sauces straight to our table. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the pork chops, mac and cheese, potato salad, cornbread, and some brisket. The mac and cheese was very cheesy and delicious, and the potato salad was seasoned just right--packed with flavor but not overdone. The pork chops were savory without being too fatty, and for once, I didn't get heartburn like I usually do when eating pork (huge plus!). The brisket was tender, tasty, and full of flavor. Everything was perfectly done. Such a great experience all around--fantastic food, friendly staff, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Definitely worth coming back!

Holy Trinity

I've heard great things about this place and countless positive reviews. Therefore, it's been on my list for awhile. I went at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. Business was busy but not to the point of overwhelming. It is a walk up and order experience. There are separate breakfast and lunch/dinner menus. But both menus were available to order from. I ordered the Holy Trinity platter from the lunch/dinner menu. It comes with 4 ribs, 2 full sausages, 4 slices of brisket, 4 slices of bread, and two sides. I also ordered the banana pudding. Customer service is top notch. There were 3 people working the front that I encountered and they were all amazing. Things I enjoyed: The ribs are delicious. Their bbq sauces are very good. Especially the spicy sauce. I noticed a ghost sauce, but the sauce I was given was identified as the spicy sauce. I'm not sure if they're the same. The sausages were good as well. I've had a lot of variations of banana pudding at different bbq restaurants. This was good but not great. Now, not for the so great: The brisket was dry and lacked flavor. The smoke ring is beautiful on it. I just found it to be ok. The baked beans and Mac and cheese were basic. I plan to come back for breakfast as well as bring my family for dinner as there are many options and I would like to try them all.

I was excited to try this spot in the Redlands public market since I was in the area with some friends. Opted for the two meat combo with a side. The service was good and the food came out really quickly. Unfortunately a food left a lot to be desired. The best part was the ribs which was seasoned well and very flavorful. The brisket was pretty mediocre and dry though, and the mashed potatoes were okay. The price was not bad for BBQ as it was about $22 but I wish the food was more fresh. You could kind of tell that it was made earlier in the day and just cut up to serve and by the time it got to us it was not hot or fresh. Overall an okay experience, I probably wouldn't try this location again and would opt for the restaurant.

I've always heard about Cornerstone Bbq ever since I've moved to the IE so we were excited to try this place out. This is located in the packing district in Redlands - great area. We decided to order the rib trio and added one side - baked beans. Overall, it was okay. The ribs weren't that tender but the flavor of them were okay. The sweet one was my favorite though, almost like a maple glaze. However, they were kind of dry and they tasted as if they were left out for a bit. It was basically room temp. I do like the sauces they had so definitely dip your bbq in them! The service was good. The people behind the counter were nice. The vibes in the dining area was pretty cool as well. I really wish Riverside had something like this haha

I've eaten here for dinner once and just tried the breakfast today. It's really solid bbq in a casual environment. The sauces are delicious! The portions for dinner are big so I shared with my husband and there was more than enough for both of us splitting a platter. They open at 7am for breakfast as well and I prefer the breakfast over the dinner. The breakfast burrito with the smoked sausage and salsa on it is truly perfection. The burritos do need a sauce or they will be dry. We also tried the fried chicken and waffle, and we will never order that again because the chicken was quite dry and the waffle tasted off and syrup was thick and hard to pour. The other breakfast options sounded good and I will try more! Inside seating can accommodate large or small groups with two hour parking available outside. The staff are friendly!

Brisket, Brisket Baked Beans, Coleslaw

First thing walking in I was greeted by the friendly staff. I ordered the 1 meat and 2 sides plate and go brisket with brisket baked beans and coleslaw. The food came out pretty quickly. The presentation of the food was very appealing. The brisket was nice and tender and the BBQ sauce was really good. There were 2 different BBQ sauces and they were both good. The coleslaw was good and had a little kick. The brisket baked beans were a highlight. I would definitely get those. My only complaint is that the portion of brisket was a little small. I would order 2 portions of meat. Overall it's great BBQ and a cool vibe, with a huge TV playing sports.

This review is for the location inside Redlands Public Market. @cornerstonebbq_redlands brought the meats. I had the Holy Trinity with pork ribs, brisket, and 2 jalepeno cheddar sausages. Sides were a corn salad and mashed potatoes. All the meats were great. Cheddar dogs had a nice snap when you bit into them. Brisket had a glorious rub on it and a definite smokey flavor. Pork ribs were surprised meaty. I especially enjoyed the variety of sauces they offer, but let it be known that the meat stood on its own. Cornerstone was definitely on their game today.

Really wanted to love the bbq here. It smelled SO GOOD. But everything was very underwhelming with the exception of the jalapeno cheddar sausage. We ordered the three meat plate plus two sides to share. As you can see in the photos, the brisket was so dry, I was so sad. The pork ribs were also pretty bland and dry. Mac and cheese was decent but super oily. The mashed potatoes, did not taste like mashed potatoes. Not sure what was going on there. I will say I did like the bbq sauces they had though.

Located inside the Redlands public market is cornerstone barbecue. I am a huge fan of barbecue ribs. What they offer here that was interesting to me is the ribs flight. It comes with three different styles of ribs - meat candy, dry rub, and asada. I have to say, I could not tell the difference between which rib was cooked in which style and the meat was not fall off the bone. The ribs were on the tough side and chewy. It didn't tasted like it was barbecue'd either. So what went right for me the this spot a high rating. Well, it's the selection of BBQ sauces, and in particular the Kansas style BBQ sauce. It is one of the best BBQ sauces I have ever had. The sauce is just speckled with so many different seasonings. It's well balanced and it saved these otherwise sad ribs. I also went home and cooked the ribs more in the oven for them to dry up a bit and soften them up. Again, the BBQ sauce was the star with the leftover ribs. I would come back and try the other meats only to get a chance to eat the BBQ sauce again. The package also included some yummy cold slaw, pickles and pickle red onions. Casual. Communal sitting in the market available. Plenty of parking around the market. Quick service. Please come and create your own adventure.

The meat was good!!!!!but the sides were ass af pure TRASH banana pudding is Jell-O pudding the coleslaw lacking on mayonnaise and pepper and the macaroni was absolute garbage. Don't waste your money on it. I don't know how you can get that one wrong they must not even have tried it ............. The sides are similar to hospital food. The cheapest macaroni out of the box from the store is better. Smh ...... the cornbread was good the sides worst then prison food . meat is very good and don't cost much just buy the meat if u got any sense don't be a fool 2.5 score bc y'all did me wrong on easter Sunday did everybody wrong who bought that mac & cheese .....meat is goood !!!!!

Best darn breakfast burrito I've ever had. Service, standard, not negative, not overly positive. Sauces? Fire Food? Fire The setting is spacious and modern, I like it. Promotes an upbeat environment. We spoke with diners leaving, and we left as diners yapping! Good food, good company, good place to share food and laughter.

Close up of the rib.... it's much bigger IRL!!

I was excited and ready to sink my teeth into a glorious beef rib at Cornerstone BBQ in Redlands Public Market, only to be hit w the Sunday Special..... "No Beef Ribs Today." Boooo!!! My soul briefly left my body. But then Allen, the BBQ savior in an apron, pointed us toward their other location just half a mile away. You bet your brisket we made the pilgrimage!!! And sweet smoky heavens, the beef dino rib was prehistoric in size and absolutely divine.... seasoned like it had a degree in flavor science and smoked like it just came out of a Texas dream!!! The side of toast slices were so good!! We got Mac n cheese and coleslaw w it, but the Mac was having a mild identity crisis... not quite the cheesy comfort bomb I remembered from three weeks ago. Maybe it missed the vibes at RPM? Still, for the price and quality, Cornerstone BBQ might just be the holy grail of beef ribs. My carnivorous heart is full!!! I'll be back!!

Part 2 of last night's date night was around the corner at Copehouse Bar. It had started raining,…read moreso we were grateful for the short walk to arrive. We seated ourselves at our favorite raised table in the corner on the far side of the bar. My husband and I stuck to traditional cocktails, and old fashioned and a Negroni. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We enjoyed our one cocktail each here and just had great conversation. It was a fun night because of the company, and also because we had a little adventure going to two amazing places!

We finally made it to Copehouse Bar & Bistro after living in SoCal for some time. It was Memorial…read moreDay weekend, and we decided to try local spots. We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

How have I lived in Redlands this long and somehow missed Olive Avenue Market?? Truly baffling…read more This place is tucked into a quiet South Redlands neighborhood, surrounded by old Victorian homes and lush lawns, and it feels like a tiny European corner café just... existing quietly and beautifully. Inside is all reclaimed wood and cozy tables, people working on laptops, the coolest Redlands City Limits sign, kids flipping through board games and books in the corner, soft chatter, good energy. Pro tip: get in line as soon as you get there because it fills up fast and the line can absolutely go out the door. I had the chai latte (so good), a cheese danish (dangerous), and an Everlasting Ferments kombucha...the Habanero Ginger is a sleeper hit. You can also snag breakfast burritos if you're lucky (they sell out), or freshly made stuffed waffles from a vendor outside, which somehow makes the whole experience feel extra charming. There are cute little café tables all around and a tucked-away, walled patio in the back that's perfect for bigger groups. Already planning future coffee dates. Late to the party, but fully committed now!
