Perfect location in OldTown Bluffton on the corner of Calhoun & May River Rd, basically the center point of the village. It is a very cute trendy coffee space with a varied breakfast lunch menu. They have great outdoor space in both sides of the corner where you can sit to enjoy your latte while people watching. The coffee was great, I of course had an extra shot as always. It is basically self serve, choose your items pay & they give you a table number to bring your items when ready. I had avocado toast for the first time with fresh fruit. It was ok. I don't know what I expected really but it did the job. They have an amazing display of cakes... Oh my.. I could have devoured them all. The place was busy for a Thursday afternoon in February. I'm sure the Farmers Market was a factor along with the beautiful weather. I can't imagine how busy it gets in the height of summer. read more

Convenient location. But apathetic staff. Was only person in line yesterday at 9am. Ordered a simple bacon egg cheese sandwich to go NO CHEESE. Allergy. I pre tipped $3 before receiving my order. When rung up I checked my receipt as always and was clearly indicated no cheese. Waited 10 min. The counter staff talked a lot between themselves. My name called. Took the sandwich to go, get to the car to eat my breakfast- double cheese! Damn it. Drive around the block find a parking spot walk to store. Ask for manager - explain and show the receipt and the Sandwich. Refunded to card. No sense of concern, no apology. Just business as usual. For $9 sandwich and $3 tip I can get what i ordered from people who give a crap somewhere else or cook myself. I don't care if the workout market is thin on staff. Train who you have and pay them right and they will treat your customers better. No excuse. I won't be back. read more

We're new to town, and I quickly fell in love with this eclectic little shop. I work from home now, and it's the perfect space for me! The food is delicious, the coffee is to die for (they have oat milk!!!!), and the staff is incredibly friendly. I don't have anything negative to say about this hidden gem. Great coffee shop! Stopped by on our way to Hilton head to hang for a minute and loved our time there. They roast their own coffee in house and have a bunch of different varieties from all over. I tried their Ethiopia and it was really tasty with great flavor notes. They also have a large selection of other drinks to choose from and their brunch/lunch menu looks great as well. **Before you find a table grab a menu** That would have been helpful for us if we would have known that first. They don't have table service and require you to go inside to order. They do bring your food out to you. There is indoor & outdoor seating, and some of the larger tables had communal seating. People don't linger for long so table openings happen quickly. They had a lot of delicious pastries and cakes that are made there. Everything looks delicious. A lot of coffee options as well as lattes, teas and at the time Cider. We ordered the omelets and they did NOT disappoint. The eggs seemed fresher and toppings were full of flavor. 3 eggs with your choice of veggies. Bacon and sausage in the omelet can be added for $3. I think I would have preferred it on the side. Probably an option. You should check on that. The drinks were great! The coffee was robust and made with love. We even bought a bag to take home with us. If you ever stop in this quaint little town, do yourself a favor and stop here for brunch. read more

We stopped here on our way back from a weekend in Hilton Head and I'm so glad that we did! The coffee was phenomenal and the food was fantastic. The seating outside was awesome since we have a wiggly squeely baby and our friends had a puppy. Not only was the staff nice, all of the patrons there were just as friendly and conversational. The cheese grits may be the best that I've ever tried (and I'm not a big fan of grits) You really can't go wrong with anything you order. If you have a sweet tooth be sure to try to french toast. After reading all the reviews for breakfast places in Bluffton we decided the give The Corner Perk try. It's a cute place in a quaint little town outside Hilton Head Island. I really loved the individual drip cups of coffee. The Columbian was very good. Nice and strong with great flavor. My husband and I both ordered the vegetable skillet. It had potatoes, mushrooms and onions drizzled with a balsamic glaze topped off with two eggs. The eggs were so delicious. They tasted like they were just hatched. So fresh and full of flavor. It was a wonderful dish that I highly recommend. Loved the outdoor seating area. The inside of the restaurant was decorated nicely too. Loved the burlap pillows on the chairs. My first complaint is that the chairs are not comfortable. They need to replace the chairs or put a more comfortable pillow on them. My second complaint is Ordering your food at the counter. If a server brings your food out to you why not place the order as well? I really prefer a full waiter service. Especially for the prices they charge. The food was very good but this concept ruins the overall experience in my opinion. We spent $33 which is expensive for breakfast. People were confused as they were walking in. They didn't realize they had to order at the counter. Plus when you pay with credit card it calculates a 15-18% tip. It's not full service and i don't that's right. Breakfast for very late lunch was a challenge in Bluffton but Corner Perk deserves a thumbs up. Most late brkfst folks don't want to get dolled up and don't mind a dog on leash coming through - great atmosphere on a corner w/ full size windows and tossable seat cushions to pick from for bench seating. Place order and pay when arrive - then wait for delivery. Very healthy/nutritious selections and sinfully large dessert options. Brkfst only served til 6pm* Live Music at 7:30pm is terrific rather than waiting till 9 or 10pm to start partying . Favorite place to go for brunch with my dog! I always order hot chai tea latte and their delicious cheesy grits. One of the workers recognizes me from time to time and is friendly! The latte temperature can be a bit toooo hot but after a good ten minutes or so I can enjoy without burning my tongue off. I love to sit on the balcony upstairs and just enjoy the view! The manager always come by to check on me which is shows great service for customers. I ordered a white chocolate mocha once (they didn't have chai that day) and it didn't taste like a normal white chocolate mocha...manager came by for a check up and I expressed this to him and he had it remade and it was then better! this business expects the customers to pay the employees wages, starting at $6 an hour (advertised as AT LEAST $15 on job sites and during my interview) they expect tips to make up for the 9$ to supposedly come to that 15 an hour or more. This is not a full service restaurant, and tips should not be expected. Employees should be paid an actual wage, because it definitely didn't end up being 15 an hour with tips, as it's a coffee shop. Don't open a business and stop opening stores if you can't pay your staff and expect the already overpaying customers to do it for you. :) read more

Great brunch spot!! We visited the one on Hilton Head Island, but couldn't find it on Yelp. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone was so nice. I mistakenly ordered the wrong coffee, and they remade it very quickly, no questions asked. Very clean and nice inside. The food was delicious, I got the Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit with breakfast potatoes and fruit. Will definitely be back!!! read more

We were just passing trough Blufton on our way to Hilton Head and the bright red tables and chairs outside instantly drew us in so we decided to pull over (sure glad we did!). Along with hand crafted coffee, Corner Perk also had a various assortment of delicious foods that we didn't try but looked very appealing. The decor is rustic and cozy, and accents of red can be found anywhere you look.
