I love this place! Let me start off my saying I've never been here in person but I've had many many deliveries from here recently, once I discovered this gem I couldn't stop eating from here. Their omelettes are great and their prices are fantastic I don't know how they do it! Omelette delivery prices around $10-11 while other local places are wanting 15-18 bucks for the same quality omelette, like I said I don't know how they do it. Their home fries are fantastic, tons of flavor and also huge portion! I've tried a few of the lunch items and I've never had a bad meal from here. The pot roast was great, the marinated beef tips were very good, their black eyed peas are some of the best I've ever had I almost always order them! This is definitely a spot that I would visit again. I did not want to go to the "normal" breakfast spots so this place was a pleasant surprise. We order a short stack, two egg breakfast with corned beef hash, and cheese omelette. I'm big on the consistency of grits and theirs was perfect. It was not smooth how some people do and that's is okay. It was good and it did not need any extra salt or anything. That's was a big shocker for me because almost no one does that! The corned beef hash was perfect. It was thick and big. Delicious! The pancakes were a nice size. We were given an decent amount out food for the price. We came here just before they closed on a Saturday (Close 1pm). Closed Sundays and open until 2pm during the week. We were pleased to see we could order breakfast OR lunch. The menu options were NUMEROUS and some of the lunch options were heavier fare and could have easily been dinner (even though they are not open at that time). Expect no frills at this place. I loved all the booths you could sit in. The decor is very 70s with artists from that era lining the walls near the ceiling. I don't think anything has changed in this place since. Lol. You seat yourself. Our table was just outside and across from the kitchen. Don't sit at that table. The oil from the fryer is likely the cause of the table being sticky. My husband got the tuna melt ($6) with fries ($2). The sandwich was on grilled rye bread and was EXCELLENT. Lots of tuna in the sandwich. He liked the fries, I thought they were ok. Very potato-like but not very crispy. I had the Texas Melt ($7) with house made onion rings ($3 for lg). You MUST get their onion rings !!! Yummy ! I seriously sat and ate each one with a smile on my face saying "these are so good" to my husband while eating each ring. My sandwich seemed better in concept on the menu vs. the execution. The roast beef was rubbery and not good quality. It had grilled onions and mushrooms over it with melted cheddar on grilled rye bread. I would not recommend getting this. Our waitress was great; a sweet older Greek lady that kept our drinks refilled on a constant basis. You take your check up to a register in front of the kitchen to pay your bill. You might want to use a calculator from your phone to total things up beforehand since each item price is listed but not totalled. The cashier was very friendly also. I accidentally left my phone on the table and she got my attention as we were leaving and brought it out. This is a nice little no frills place for lunch. We'll definitely be back. read more

Portion sizes were big and the sides (onion rings, sweet potato fries) were delicious. That's about the only positives, though. 3 out of 5 of the French toast pieces were raw. They did take them back to the kitchen to be re-cooked, but didn't come back out until everyone else's plates had been cleared and we were at the register paying to leave. I finally found my "spot" for breakfast. No frills no fuss just good home style cooking. On to my usual break down. Decor: I think when you walk in you'll notice that you're not in a typical South End breakfast spot. Yes it's outdated; there's no tablecloths or fine china. The walls have old albums and articles featuring the establishment. But that's the charm about the place. I loved it. It kind of reminds me of going to my Granny's house for breakfast. I wouldn't change a single thing about it. Food:The food is excellent. The best part about this place is the food and portion sizes. It matches the decor of the no frills mentality. My table had an omelette and a breakfast burrito, both were exceptional. I loved the portion sizes and for the price you get more than what you're paying for. This place is right around the corner from my work and serves several simple pleasure meals at a good price. Don't expect a lot of frills and thrills when it comes to the sophistication of the meals or the decorations in the place, but I find the space homey and everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. I've only done lunch here and my favorite dish by far is the buffalo chicken salad. I would say it goes heavier on the buffalo chicken than the salad. But hey, I'm a guy and it fits my definition of a salad pretty well. I also enjoy the gyro platter, but it is enough to put you into a coma for the afternoon, so eat with caution! Unfortunately I haven't done breakfast (I struggle enough to get in before the start of work), but will need to check it out sometime soon! read more

Not amazing by any stretch. I eat here because it's close and cheap and not McDonald's. Typical family greasy spoon, very few items are actually fresh. Canned and frozen are pretty much the norm. Long term customer. In the past few months, service levels have been in the cellar. Generally, I pickup breakfast on my way to work. But, at an increasing rate, they have been getting my orders wrong. Of course, I don't find the errors until I've left, which is too late to correct. It really shouldn't be difficult to check the orde, as its bagged. I can't reasonably check it during p/u, as tyey pre-toe the bags. As a long term customer, it's saddening to say...shop elsewhere. The food here (the fifty perfect of the time they get the order correct) is very tasty. Prices are reasonable and some of the staff are exceptional. Seems they hired their little sister in the past six months; poor girl needs training on customer service as well as taking and charging for correct orders (she's gotten it perfect ONCE in five visits). We normally delivery at work 2-3 or 4 times a week. The week before the 4th, we were told that there would be a new menu and a price increase. Normally price increases means .20, .30 cents, but these people have gone up dollar amounts. I ordered cornbeef hash, grits, and eggs which cost $7.99. A co-worker ordered a ham and cheese omelet which cost him $7 bucks... no sides or anything. The pricing is ridiculous. This is not IHOP quality food. I guess we will be going to IHOP for now on since we are paying these type prices. 85% of the time, the eggs are not done anyway. The breakfast here though is amazing... the steak and eggs combo with hash browns is the best. If you visit I would stick with breakfast food and it's super cheap so that's a plus. read more

Steak Omelet, I'm thinking imitation steak but no, also with 3 types of cheeses what could go wrong.
