For goodness Bakes!!!! This bakery bakes a world a butter place YUMMY!! I had the wonderful over sized chocolate chip cookie it was soft as cotton, melts in your mouth, and perfectly balanced sweetness. I also tried the chocolate bundt cake. The chocolate is the icing on the cake. So decadent, creamy, slippery and scrumptious. Go ahead bake my day anytime. The service was amazing. I was greeted right away, I had a few laughs, and was invited back. The ambiance is bakery but feels a little bit like a cafe. Besides baked goods there are other selections to choose from. Soup, salad, and sandwiches. This is how we roll. Don't be a sourdough, crumb and get it

We entered to an empty restaurant on Friday; June 5th at approximately 6:15pm. Not only were there no customers on a busy Friday night at 6:00pm, but there wasn't a single employee at the counter. We could t see anyone in the back either and after 5 minutes of waiting; I began to get concerned and yelled hello. No one answered back after at least another 5 minute wait and multiple times of calling out. At this point we were very concerned there was a seemingly empty restaurant and like I said it was a very busy Friday night. All the surrounding restaurants had long lines of people. We had noticed a police officer sitting outside and just as I was about to go advise him; a male voice yelled out but not to us. He did not even address us. He yelled for a few minutes himself and no one was answering him. Finally after being in the restaurant for an EXTREMELY long time; a lady enters. She does not greet us or apologize; nothing. She was not wearing a name tag, but the receipt said Sarah W. and she looked very disheveled with her hair all stringy and hanging down. I asked what was going on back there because we were about to go ask the police officer out front to come in to see if all was ok. She was super nasty and rude to us; snappy that her co-worker was working on something in the back. My question was why wasn't any of the three employees we did eventually see come to the counter when they heard us yelling. It was just extremely awkward and as a former Mystery Shopper this was as bad as I've ever seen. Now as a business owner I have to say she's an awful representation of this company and I've never once said I thought someone should be laid off or fired, but she should be. Now we understand why this place is deserted. It USED to be my husband's favorite place, but we will never set foot in here again. Seeing how nasty she was to me and listening to how she was whispering to a female co-worker as I stood off getting my drink; I didn't feel comfortable eating the food. We flushed $33.67 down the drain.

My wife wanted to go try a place we'ved never eaten at in Temecula for lunch and so we drove past by Corner Bakery Cafe. We got the pick 2 for $16 deal. Wife got marinara cavatappi and I got Shrimp Scampi pasta - 5/5 really good for the price! Salad was fresh and everything looked clean. Ambiance was like a cafeteria for adults and on the old fashion side. Service 4/5 friendly and fast. Plenty of parking.

I ordered my food through DoorDash, and picked it up in the store. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes so I was able to pick it up and go! No waiting necessary. I love the shrimp scampi, it was delicious and there were plenty of shrimps. First time I went to the Temecula store and noticed they have a lot of empty seats but it felt cozy and looks comfortable. Maybe next time I'll try for a dining experience.

Worst, over priced sandwich ever made! Sprouts makes a much better and bigger sandwich for half the price. We went in at 2:30 pm to get chicken carbonara...but they said it was unavailable because they ran out of sauce. Instead we ordered a Mac n cheese and a BLT and a turkey sandwich. The Mac had barely any cheese sauce. We had to go back and purchase a real Mac n cheese from Karl Straus next door. The BLT was a total embarrassment. It was on a tiny sliced, over toasted, piece of bread not even the size of my hand (I'm a woman). The bacon was so over cooked it was brittle to the touch. One slice of lettuce and one slice of tomato. .. they charged $13 for this worthless sandwich. The Turkey wasn't much better. We will never go there again.

I haven't been to a corner bakery in a while and since it's getting colder I was craving their loaded baked potato soup. I tried their bacon and cheddar panini as well. Both paired well together. Friendly service, huge indoor seating area.

This place went from our favorite place, to our least favorite place. We hadn't feel there for about 6 months and after we ordered and walked into the dining section, we were shocked. It was disgusting. Over 1/2 the tables still had dirty plates in them and the table we chose by the window had not been wiped down. The floors were disgusting with crumbs all over and tiny pieces of food smashed into the floor. It looked like they hadn't washed the floor in weeks. There were only about 5 tables occupied. There was no one in line when we came in, nor after we ordered, so they were not busy and could have easily had the tables cleaned and wiped. My husband took a napkin to wipe off the crumps and wet spots and the napkin ripped and stuck to table where there was sticky stuff. Oh! I forgot to tell you, that on the way to our table, my husband saw a cockroach on the floor. When he went back and told the counter girl, she just said, "ok, thank you", and didn't even ask him where it was. He came back to me and said she didn't even seem interested, so I told him to go take a photo of it and we need to report this. As he was taking a photo of the cockroach, the girl walked up and swept it into the dustpan. He told her about all the dirty tables and she said they were understaffed and left with the cockroach. A little while later, she came back and cleaned 1 table near us. That was the only time, while we were there, that we saw anyone clean anything. My husband ordered the chicken pomodori panini and when it came, it looked like 2 pieces of toast with nothing in it. It was a joke, as it looked like the cook took leftover remnants, of each ingredient, from eaten food and put it in his sandwich, and my Chicken Rosa pasta was not at all like the description. The top was covered with toasted breadcrumbs, so you couldn't see the ingredients and when I mixed it up, I saw that I did not get cavatappi pasta. It was thick spaghetti or linguini (which I do not like) and no spinach, nor Parmesan on top. It didn't look appetizing at all. We decided to give everything back and ask for a refund. When we went for our refund, we walked around a drink spill that was about 4 feet long with a yellow Wet Floor sign in the middle of it. It was still there after we got our refund and were leaving. Honestly, it wouldn't take much more time to mop it up, instead of placing a sign in the middle of it. There were 2 girls standing at the counter, so we went to one and asked for a refund. We showed her the sandwich and the pasta and nicely asked her why we were served these. The other girl came over, and the girl we were talking to, showed her the items and told her to ask the cook why he did this. We could see the cook just standing in the kitchen looking at us. They agreed on the refund and one girl gave us our refund, and her only response about everything, even the cook messing up, was that they were short handed. We told her that if the cook was behind, we would understand waiting longer, but serving us food like my husband's panini or my dish having wrong AND missing ingredients is confusing. (I wondered if we were served this because we complained about the cockroach and the dirty condition of the restaurant, but didn't say so.) We went to give her our drinks back, and she said we could keep them. We thanked her for that, and went next door with the drinks to Chipotle. We had a great meal there and they did not mind us bringing in our drinks from the Corner Bakery.

First time here in along while. Disappointing today. Here's why: 1) prices several dollars more for breakfast items, which are not on the menu but available, so you don't know what it's going to cost up front. 2) coffee which is usually good was very bitter, undrinkable without cream and sugar, we drink it black. 3) service was slooow.. 4) my omelet plate was not warm enough. The potatoes were dry, cold and tasted like they'd been sitting out since morning (probably were since this was noon) 5) toast lacked butter 6) the Anaheim avocado omelet had way over ripe avocado and I didn't taste any Anaheim chilies. See picture. The redeeming meal was the pancakes. That's what we like best here. Always light and fluffy. They are offered all day. Next time we'll try sandwiches.

There's something special about the Corner Bakery, which the others cannot duplicate. Their food is always fresh, tasty and interestingly prepared. This location is no different than any of their other locations we've been to IL, WA, AZ and FL. It takes us back to our first experiences in the Midwest. Chicago restauranteur Rich Melman and his "Lettuce Entertain You" group created it. Our favorite is still his mother's old place in the Sears Tower Mrs Levy's, long since gone. But the food hasn't changed. It's still so much better than St Louis Bread Company, aka Panera. On our most recent visit, we tried their grilled Chicken Rosa pasta dish. It came with spinach, oven-roasted tomato, cavatappi pasta, and a pesto tomato cream sauce. We also tried their Italian Panini, which has smoked ham, pepperoni, provolone, pesto and served on grilled sourdough. Both were excellent, tasty and generous in size, see photos. Btw, their Hibiscus iced tea is the best. Enjoy!

3 of us came for breakfast, I wrap , 2 egg meals both meals had cold undercooked potatoes, and my bacon wrap had no bacon. This place used to be alot better. It was not very tasty. No seasoning at all. read more

Corner bakery's method of dealing with inflation is by subtracting 20% of the sandwhich contents per year. Next time I'm looking for two pieces of bread for $10 dollars I will be sure to order here! Thanks guys and keep up the great work read more

On one of the hottest days in Temecula history ( high of 120 ) the Corner Bakery provided cool relief from the sweltering heat. This wasn't our first choice, but we bailed out on a few other restaurants because either their A/C was broken or it was still too hot inside. The large dining room allowed us to pick a nice booth and relax for a bit. They have a nice selection of beverages and teas and they also offer Fresca! The food was about what you'd expect from a place like this. I enjoyed my Asian salad and my son's Italian Panini ( not on the corporate menu but it's offered here) was incredibly flavorful. Corner Bakery is like Panera but with better desserts. It's good to know that when Temecula get hot ( which is often) you can always come to Corner Bakery Cafe to chill out. - They have a coffee bar and some people brought in smiley mugs and got.25 coffee refills.. read more

My wife and I both ordered breakfast egg dishes. Pretty sure they were powdered eggs and cold undercooked potatoes. We both agreed it was probably one of the worst restaurant breakfasts we had eaten. Would not return. For our two meals (no drinks) about $29. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. Food was bad and expensive. read more

I like the fact that you can get breakfast all day. However, food quality and service can be a bit better. Potatoes and toast were cold, Eggs were good. It will feel more welcoming if people have smile on their faces. Restaurant is nice and clean inside but outside area can use some attention. Overall, decent experience. read more

I've been here several times for breakfast and have always had the breakfast panini. But today I tried the pancakes. Literally some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Super fluffy, light and just delicious. The service is always great here. I'm definitely going back for pancakes again. read more

Had the taste for their Broccoli Cheddar soup and cobb salad so we drove over to the mall location to have dinner. The restaurant was clean and inviting which is expected at a Corner Bakery. A new cashier was being trained so ordering was just a bit less than normal but ok. Before yge pandemic we enjoyed eating at yhe location on Temecula Parkway but since they closed that location we haven't taken the time to drive across town to this location. The service was adequate, and the food was good. Their prices have gotten beyond being a good value. This is probably the direct result of the out of control inflation the country is going through! I can't blame the restaurant for that. Good place but we won't be back until their prices improve. read more

I was so disappointed. My Grandsughters mac n cheese was ok. My ham sandwhich was a piece of bred , small tomatoe slice small Piece of old cheese and a few slivers of raw onion. I don't know how anyone can get this wrong, "chopped" means chopped up or chop1 /CHäp/ Learn to pronounce verb past tense: chopped; past participle: chopped 1. cut (something) into pieces with repeated sharp blows of an axe or knife. "they chopped up the pulpit for firewood" As you can see the lettuce is not chopped. The menu describes it so now because of covid now corner bakery can follow suit with fast food restaurants and give you sub par food as by the time you get home you get a normal salad. As much as I love corner bakery they have fallen way down in service. The children working there don't get it. Also where is thee pice of baguette? Not sure if I received the entree portion but anything goes these days. Thanks for the service and the so called chopped salad it's hard to follow directions in today's times! read more

I live so close to Corner Bakery, and it's one of those places I love to pick up a quick lunch. I've always been a fan of their pastas, but I've been making more efforts to branch out and try some of their other menu items, and I've actually liked everything I've tried! It's definitely one of those places that is highly underrated and not appreciated enough. Their paninis are amazing and so satisfying--my fave being the Chicken Pomodori with the Rustic Italian following in a close second. I really enjoy their soups and chili too. Their online system is really easy to use and has made pick up orders so seamless. read more

Beware: if you want a wilted and soggy salad, overly salty canned soup, and a bag of kettle chips, please come here. Not sure what's been going on here but food quality has gone down and facilities have been getting noticeably dirtier. I've already reached out to corporate Corner Bakery and notified them about my recent abysmally terrible experience. The store manager really needs to get fired for letting this establishment run this way. I will not be returning to this location for another year, if they even stay in business here, that is. read more

I order a bunch from here whether it is coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner they never disappoint! I've also of course have dined in and the staff have great customer service. Lots of seating options and it is always nice and clean inside. The fresh bread is baked with perfection! Ingredients are fresh and presentation is good. Pricing is reasonable as well. read more

The food was great! But The customer service was even better! Melissa did an amazing job greeting everyone who came through the door, making the customers feel welcomed. She was extremely polite and helpful. Some of the best customer service I've ever seen. The way she interacted with the staff was also great! I called to place a large order for delivery and was recommended to do it through DoorDash. Well I placed the order through DoorDash like the employee told me too, then I get a notice two hours later which is one hour before our meeting and the time we needed our delivery at that it was CANCELED BY CORNER BAKERY!! This is maddening I now have to scramble and find food for 14 employees! I do not recommend offices needed lunch to try this business read more

I should've listened to the reviews on yelp but was craving some soup. My husband picked up an order for us and the cavatappi pasta came back ice cold. I called to let them know and they continually hung up on us. When I finally got through I spoke to a supervisor, all whom had to say was "ok I'll speak the the kitchen" very poor customer service skills and overall a terrible place to eat. read more

My girlfriend and I were in Temecula for the day and we were looking for a place to have lunch. There are so many places in Temecula but we chose your establishment. After searching the menu we finally made our decision. When we got to the cashier to pay, I only had $100.00 bill on me, and our order was close to $40.00 (way over priced, for a salad and sandwich). Any who, the gal behind the counter say's sorry we don't take hundreds and with no apology or suggestions my girlfriend and I left hungry. But I'm actually glad now because we found the best little restaurant to eat at. Remember folks our $ money was no good there, so bring exact change. read more

I have been here twice. First time was not so bad, but the second time, I wanted to demand a refund. First time was Noon, and the place was super busy. I got coffee, soup and a Maple Pecan bar. The Chicken Orzo soup was OUTRAGEOUSLY SALTY. I added water from the soda machine, and it was bearable, but lukewarm. The coffee and the maple bar were excellent Returned a day later at 2:00pm. What a difference. There were two high school girls working the counter and the tables. The one taking orders was overwhelmed. Not a lot of customers, but she was taking ten mins per customer. Maybe she was new, but why wasn't manager Adriana helping her instead of hanging out in the kitchen? I ordered a half sandwich (BLT), and cup of soup (loaded potato), a caesar salad, and a mini bundt cake (to go). The 6 ounces of soup (in a 12 oz bowl) looked like plaster of Paris, it was so thick from reducing on the warmer all day, and it was cold! The confused high school girl didn't understand what was wrong with it, until I held the bowl upside down and it didn't spill! She took it to manager Adriana, who basically said, "What do you want us to do about it?" I responded, "First, fill the damn bowl. Then put a little water in it. Stir it. Put it in the microwave!" They had to warm it for 3 minutes before it steamed, that's how cold it was. The soup was OUTRAGEOUSLY SALTY. The BLT sandwich was pitiful - limp White Toast. Wilted lettuce. The caesar salad lettuce was wilted too. This was a $16 meal! The whole time I was eating, the other high school girl was running the vacuum through the restaurant. Incredibly LOUD. The tables were filthy (I wiped my own down with a napkin), and the carpet was filthy even AFTER she vacuumed. Had the cake later at home. Sensational. Their bakery goods are top notch. But don't order anything the staff has to touch. read more

Screw that overpriced Panera crap, Corner Bakery is the BEST! Wifey and I love to come for their breakfast and lunch options. I love that their pancakes are fluffy, and for lunch - an uptown turkey avocado sandwich is always my go-to choice. We'll occasionally have them cater a lunch for our dealership and they never fail to deliver on time. Oh, and their cookies are to die for! Every now and then they will mail out coupons which make it an even better deal. Great place overall. read more

I came here with my SO and baby girl on a rainy Saturday night after shopping at the mall. The place is visible from Ynez and pretty easy to get to. We were craving Panera and I mentioned that I've had Corner Bakery catered at work plenty of times and it's a similar kind of place to eat. I ordered the Asian Edamame Salad and Tomato Basil Soup as sides with my Mozzarella and Tomato sandwich on baguette. The Asian Edamame Salad appeared to be more of a slaw, but either way, it was delicious! It had that Asian flavoured dressing, but with a vinegar base like Italian. It was the perfect mix of crunchy and soft texture that made it quite addicting (I'll keep the full salad as a meal option next time)! The Tomato Basil soup was very yummy. I could taste the simple ingredients it was made of, but nothing overpowered the tomato base itself, simply good. The Mozzarella and Tomato on Baguette was also very yummy. Made with generous portions of fresh mozzarella and firm, ripe tomatoes, this sandwich just hit the spot for me. I didn't even realize I had eaten a full on vegetarian meal! Haha. The building is well kept and the inside is clean. On the rainy night we came for dinner, it was pretty empty. However, the place seems like it can accommodate a crowd as there was plenty of seating. I liked how far apart the tables were from each other, random, but worth noting. The customer service here is great! As I mentioned, the place is similar to Panera. Ordering seemed to be the same, too. The employees that helped us out were very sweet and helpful as it was our first time here. I haven't been to a Corner Bakery in years. Wasn't as good as I remember. The soup was just ok. Loved the club panini and wished I had gotten the full size sandwich. My little guy loves pancakes so being able to order pancakes for lunch off the kids menu is a huge plus! read more

I went to Corner Bakery for their whole crème streusel cake which after tax came to $ 29. The cake was not edible. It was under cooked and flavorless. I returned it to the manager and tried to show her the issues but she took it and chucked in the garbage in front of her. I had my bank withdrawal on my phone but she wouldn't give me $$ but gave me coupons for another visit! I looked in the case and the cake was cut and also was undercooked! She did not like me saying there was quality control issues but hey what does a 63 year old mom that bakes know? Maybe a smile or better attitude would also have been appreciated. I've been to other locations and this one was just okay. The employees are nice, the restaurant was clean my sandwich was alright. I really don't have a lot to complain about besides my sandwich needed a little seasoning. Which I'm sure I could've ask for salt and pepper. Was super unimpressed , this used to be my place , I got the choose two and a kids meal, the sandwich and pasta were tiny with not much to it, pasta tasted like water was mixed in if. My kids soup and grilled cheese didn't even have enough cheese on sandwich and soup Wasn't even half full in the cup. Won't be eating here again, hard to try to support a business during this time when you get food like that , and at 30$ and I still have a hungry kid. read more

The worst customer service in Temecula. I was not informed that I needed to pick up my food at the counter or either my cashier gave me the buzzer. I sat at the table facing directly to the check-out counter and nobody at least let me know that my food was ready. Until I walked up to them then my food was left there for 18 minutes cold and sad. Please train your worker to be more considerate and have some common sense in a working environment. The store only had four other customers when I came in so please do not say that they were busy. Or this happened because I was the only Asian guy in the store? Was this an act of racial discrimination? read more

Waited 10 minutes to give the order. Only one cashier working. All tables vacant and had dirty dishes on. Had to ask them to clean one table. They didn't clear the rest of the dishes off the table till we were almost finishing eating. The kitchen was fast bringing out the food. This was on a Sunday. read more

I went with the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt Scone, and it was delicious. They warmed it up for me, and for being gluten-free, it was surprisingly soft, moist, and full of flavor. If you have celiac disease like I do, I would consider this more gluten-friendly than celiac-safe. The gluten-free scones were displayed next to the vegan scones. They weren't touching and were spaced apart, but there is still a possibility of cross-contamination. The staff wore gloves when handling the pastries and seemed to take the proper precautions. They were very upfront about their food handling practices, answered all of my questions, and provided excellent customer service. The café itself was very clean, beautifully designed, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I originally wanted to order the Fruity Pebbles Matcha, which was a limited-time spring drink. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it with oat milk because the Fruity Pebbles mixture was already premade with whole milk. Instead, I ordered the Brown Butter Toffee Latte with oat milk. I got the 12 oz because I wasn't sure I'd finish it, but honestly, I should have ordered the larger size. It was that good. The flavor was rich without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I don't usually enjoy overly sugary drinks. My brother ordered the Peach Bellini and added a splash of lemonade. He let me try it, and it was incredibly refreshing. The peach flavor came through nicely without being overpowering, and the balance between the peach puree, black tea, and lemonade was just right. He also ordered a brioche tart topped with raspberries, blackberries, and vanilla custard, which he said was fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area for another Brown Butter Toffee Latte and gluten-free scone. Just a little disclaimer from someone who's still pretty new to navigating celiac disease: I'm still learning what works best for me and what risks I'm personally comfortable taking. While I understand there is always a possibility of cross-contamination in a shared facility, I also know that living with celiac and multiple food allergies can feel very limiting at times. For me, seeing a business be transparent, answer questions honestly, and take reasonable precautions helps me make an informed decision. Everyone's comfort level and sensitivity is different, so if you have celiac disease, please use your own judgment and do what feels safest for you.

I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. I was happy to receive great coupons to this bakery, since I have never been there before. Now I came in at 9:26 am on this day 8/22 only to be told that your restaurant is "out of potatoes", they "normally carry it but are out". I have been holding out to use these coupons since my husband and I (like any breakfast lover/eater) need potatoes to complete the meal. It seems as if this establishment either does not value the guest or have mis managed the ordering of necessary food items. Either way, this was not a way to welcome a customer. As a manager of a business, I always provide my team and guests the why behind every matter. So maybe informing your staff with a why the potatoes are out, and not just a complete disregard for the matter would have improved the situation. On a visit prior to this at 12:30 was told was out of soup? Ordering supplies seems to really be a huge issue here. Do not come, even if the coupons look great. Chances are they are "out" of what you saw in the picture or what is on your coupon. read more

Love coming here with my bother. The soup and sandwiches are great. My brother loves the macaroni and cheese with bacon bits. If I ever want a refreshing meal, soup, salad, or sandwich always hits the spot. Their lemonade is great too. The service is great as well. Always checked on, and making sure that I am happy. Never disappoints but never really impresses either. For the most part the food here is good. The staff are mostly friendly but they really don't seem to care that much. I've been here multiple times for a quick bite and have never been overly impressed. Not bad, not great! Three stars! read more
