Eh. Second time visiting since moving out to Riverside County and definitely my last. Not all chain restaurants are created equal. This place had a really "cold" vibe. The service was not memorable. Host was not inviting, server had no energy. My pancakes had raw batter and my eggs could've been cooked a tad longer. Just not a great meal. Way too many other breakfast spots in the area to go to next time.

Service was really good and friendly. Ambiance was a regular diner vibe. Food was delicious. I highly recommend the German pancake. Get it to share. I would definitely revisit for breakfast. I wish I took pictures of the food but I guess I was too hungry.

Was warmly greeted as we walked in. Seating was wide open as it was well after breakfast but starting lunch time. Had a nice seat by the window. Ordered a couple different items as well as a German Pancake to share. Individual items were the Turkey/ avocado/ bacon & cheese omelette, Flaming Fiesta Omelette and The Ever Popular "Joe"! Omelettes were amazing! Fluffy and flavorful! The Joe had a good mix of sausage, spinach and came with a side of potato pancakes. Each item had its own unique flavor and was equally delicious. Service was spot on. Rigo had a keen eye for what our needs were. Will definitely be back to try more menu options! Keep on Yelp'n!

I came in for the German pancake but ended up ordering the Flaming Fiesta Omelette, and I'm so glad I did! It was absolutely massive, served piping hot, and packed with flavor. The gooey cheese, jalapeño peppers, and fresh veggies made every bite delicious. We also tried a few other dishes: the ever-popular Joe with a side of crispy potato pancakes, and the turkey, avocado, bacon, and cheese omelette. Every single item was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We ended up ordering German pancake too because can't come to The Original Pancake House and not have it. . . was as big and impressive as promised, definitely one to share unless you come really hungry! If you're in the mood for a solid, satisfying breakfast, this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it, and I'll absolutely be coming back! Yelp ya later!

Good food good service the ambience is ok your just going to have some breakfast so I thinks it's great. The food is great and comes out fast and hot. Everything we got taste amazing plus they got some great coffee with the thick vanilla creamer fire

Ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffles were hot, fresh, crispy. Not soggy at all. The fried chicken was bone in which was different. Very good fried chicken. Hot and juicy, cooked perfectly. They served it with a syrup, honey, jalapeño, orange medley and it worked very well. They were super busy but the food came out quickly. Inside was clean, all the workers were friendly. Reasonably priced for the quality of food.

Mirla and Tyrone did an amazing job today! My boyfriend and I ordered orange juice, vanilla coffee, the 49ers flapjack, pancakes, sticky eggs, and the country fried steak. We were the first customers in that morning, and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the overall ambiance was great. Definitely a fantastic start to the day!

I used to love this place. Went back to show some out of town friends this place and sadly the health rating scared my friends away :/ If owner can get this fixxed i'll revisit and promptly update my review until now i can only give 3 stars

First time here. Wanted to try some of the local restaurants. Didn't realize the restaurant was rated B before this, but it just aligns with the overall service and taste of food. We had to wait 10 mins to get seated. At first we thought it was a good sign that there were a lot of people there...we went inside and the place was small. Crowded seating. We were sat next to the emergency door, which I guess is a best care scenario if it's crazy. It took another 10 mins to get ordered. Sat for the next 45 mins and watched people who ordered after us, get their food before us. When we got our order, they brought out the wrong order. The pancakes were dry, practically cornbread with syrup on it. My husband ordered an omelette and they brought him a cheese souffle. My kids were literally saying "ew" to the pancakes and rubber bacon. That says alot coming from kids who eat McDonald's pancakes happily. I had to actually season my own hash browns because they were just so bland. We saw our server the most when it was time to leave. The only impression he made on me was how little he wanted to do is his job. Posting a pic of the cheese souffle #omlette.

Ok YUM! Ended up stopping at the pancake house for Mother's Day brunch and it was delicious. Such a cute hidden gem in Temecula. From the host to the server we had the friendliest service. Made my day super special

    A typical table.

This is my favorite place for breakfast because they have German pancakes. Great locations as well....

He said that it was good but needed more flavor so he added a lot of hot sauce to his plate. Lol I ended up ordering the hash brown bowl, which I thought was great. The gravy was very tasty, but unfortunately there wasn't enough on the plate so I ended up having to order more. Our server Haley was awesome! One of my favorite foods is a Monte Cristo sandwich. I've been eating them since I was a kid, and it's difficult to find a place that does it well. Penfold's makes a great one, so that's almost always what I order when I'm here. Turkey and ham, plus American and Swiss cheese, which is made into a sandwich that is battered and fried. Traditional toppings are sour cream and jam, preferably raspberry or blackberry. So don't eat this unless you're a savory/sweet combo person! Worth the $1.50 to get the sour cream. I love that they have a sweet potato fry or onion ring upgrade for $1.00. I always choose sweet potato for the Monte Cristo, it's the best option. But I'll have to try the onion rings some time. There are tons of breakfast and lunch options, since they're only open til 2:00 everyday. They are also known for their bakery. Cinnamon or pecan rolls that are the size of a dinner plate! You have to slice them like a loaf of bread, lol. Also available are cookies, croissants, etc. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Staff is friendly and efficient, event when they're busy. My recent visit was at noon on a Wednesday, and I was all done in under 45 minutes! And the restaurant was pretty full, since it's only the one large room. Decor is fun, in the old-timey "why did grandma collect all this stuff?" motif, lol. Comfy booths around the perimeter with tables inside and a counter back left. And parking is fairly easy in the small shopping center, but you may have to park a little ways away if they're particularly busy.

When arriving it looked like one of those good ol' cafes that have been around for a while and loved by the locals. When walking in it's filled with nostalgia, classic toys lining the ceiling and classic booths and tables. This reminded me of a restaurant called Millie's Country Kitchen that was pretty popular when growing up. We showed up at a good time, the place was just filling up and we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server took care of us, she was attentive took our orders and brought our food out with no issues. The portion sizes here are HUGE. The food was ok. I was not impressed with my pancakes, maybe the batter was not my favorite I am not sure. Maybe I should have ordered something different but overall I enjoyed my visit here. I've been spoiled in my hometown with the local diners and amazing breakfasts so maybe I'd be a difficult person to please in this category. *breakfast snob* However nobody at our table had complaints about the food and we enjoyed our outing. Would come back if in the area to try it once more. The three stars is for the food, but everything else would have been 5.

At that point, breakfast was calling and I wasn't asking too many questions. I'll admit, my first impression was a little iffy. The restaurant was pretty empty, and they tried to seat me right by the front door. It's hot and muggy today, and apparently I'm delicate, so I asked if I could move closer to the air conditioning. They seemed a tiny bit grumpy about my request, and I started wondering if maybe I had discovered the reason for some of the reviews. But then things completely turned around! I'm also THAT customer because I happen to be allergic to black tea. So now I'm asking about green tea, white tea... basically anything that isn't trying to kill me. They were actually incredibly sweet about it and went completely out of their way to brew me green matcha tea and make it iced. That was so kind and definitely not something they had to do. And then the food came... and it was GOOD. I ordered a breakfast combo with eggs, sausage, hash browns, and French toast with macadamia nuts, chocolate chips, and strawberries. I got the whipped cream and syrup on the side because apparently I'm high maintenance in multiple areas of breakfast. The French toast was cooked perfectly and wasn't overly sweet on its own. The whipped cream was also really good and tasted homemade. I could control how sweet I wanted everything, which made it perfect. So I'm really glad I wandered in! My only little suggestion would be to bring some of the friendliness I experienced once I was seated to the moment people first walk through the door. Because once we got past my air-conditioning relocation request and complicated tea situation, they were genuinely sweet, went out of their way for me, and made me a really delicious breakfast. Definitely give this little place a chance and get the French toast!

So the first thing that bothered me is there is a lot of people waiting outside so it's loud and when they call you to be seated they aren't loud enough so we missed our call after waiting a bit i checked in to find out! 2nd thing Food was not very warm felt like it was sitting a bit so some of our food was room temperature. Food tasted ok. But Portions and cuts were good. Then we went to eat at 630 which is peak dinner time they were already out of baked potatoes and pastrami and some other item. Their mashed potatoes tasted gritty like if they where box mashed potatoes which makes sense with them being out of potatoes. 3rd thing which is their "New Policy" That groups of 6 or more it has to be paid on one card and can Not be split in multiple payments not even split cash and card! So that to me makes absolutely no sense and there are no signs stating this anywhere nor on their site. So overall this place is ok and not really worth what we paid.
