This morning I woke up and went to grab overnight oats. Everything was good until I saw the side of raisin sweet crips.. it used to be a whole piece not it was scraps. Not good!!! Seems like they gave me the burnt side of the loaf. UNSATISFIED! And the coke smelled a lot like chlorine. 2nd time this happens.

It was my first time trying this place. It looks bigger from the inside than from the outside. We wanted to try something new in Temecula so we gave corner Bakery a try!... Pick 2 DEAL... SHRIMP SCAMPI PASTA: 9/10 The flavor was all there! Nice and buttery but, we wanted more so wish the portion was bigger... CAVATAPPI MARINARA: 8/10 I felt like I was eating cafeteria food. I added some Tabasco and asked for my hubby's scampi sauce and then some salt and pepper. Suddenly I enhanced it and made it more enjoyable... Came with a side so we picked the MIXED GREEN SALAD... That was good... OVERALL: SERVICE was great. We were greeted and welcomed. For goodness Bakes!!!! This bakery bakes a world a butter place YUMMY!! I had the wonderful over sized chocolate chip cookie it was soft as cotton, melts in your mouth, and perfectly balanced sweetness. I also tried the chocolate bundt cake. The chocolate is the icing on the cake. So decadent, creamy, slippery and scrumptious. Go ahead bake my day anytime. The service was amazing. I was greeted right away, I had a few laughs, and was invited back. My wife wanted to go try a place we'ved never eaten at in Temecula for lunch and so we drove past by Corner Bakery Cafe. We got the pick 2 for $16 deal. Wife got marinara cavatappi and I got Shrimp Scampi pasta - 5/5 really good for the price! Salad was fresh and everything looked clean. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was like a cafeteria for adults and on the old fashion side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service 4/5 friendly and fast. Plenty of parking.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We entered to an empty restaurant on Friday; June 5th at approximately 6:15pm. Not only were there no customers on a busy Friday night at 6:00pm, but there wasn't a single employee at the counter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We could t see anyone in the back either and after 5 minutes of waiting; I began to get concerned and yelled hello. No one answered back after at least another 5 minute wait and multiple times of calling out. At this point we were very concerned there was a seemingly empty restaurant and like I said it was a very busy Friday night. All the surrounding restaurants had long lines of people. We had noticed a police officer sitting outside and just as I was about to go advise him; a male voice yelled out but not to us. He did not even address us. He yelled for a few minutes himself and no one was answering him. Finally after being in the restaurant for an EXTREMELY long time; a lady enters. She does not greet us or apologize; nothing. She was not wearing a name tag, but the receipt said Sarah W. and she looked very disheveled with her hair all stringy and hanging down. I asked what was going on back there because we were about to go ask the police officer out front to come in to see if all was ok. She was super nasty and rude to us; snappy that her co-worker was working on something in the back. My question was why wasn't any of the three employees we did eventually see come to the counter when they heard us yelling. It was just extremely awkward and as a former Mystery Shopper this was as bad as I've ever seen. Now as a business owner I have to say she's an awful representation of this company and I've never once said I thought someone should be laid off or fired, but she should be. Now we understand why this place is deserted. It USED to be my husband's favorite place, but we will never set foot in here again. Seeing how nasty she was to me and listening to how she was whispering to a female co-worker as I stood off getting my drink; I didn't feel comfortable eating the food. We flushed $33.67 down the drain.

I ordered my food through DoorDash, and picked it up in the store. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes so I was able to pick it up and go! No waiting necessary. I love the shrimp scampi, it was delicious and there were plenty of shrimps. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First time I went to the Temecula store and noticed they have a lot of empty seats but it felt cozy and looks comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe next time I'll try for a dining experience.

Worst, over priced sandwich ever made! Sprouts makes a much better and bigger sandwich for half the price. We went in at 2:30 pm to get chicken carbonara...but they said it was unavailable because they ran out of sauce. Instead we ordered a Mac n cheese and a BLT and a turkey sandwich. The Mac had barely any cheese sauce. We had to go back and purchase a real Mac n cheese from Karl Straus next door. The BLT was a total embarrassment. It was on a tiny sliced, over toasted, piece of bread not even the size of my hand (I'm a woman). The bacon was so over cooked it was brittle to the touch. One slice of lettuce and one slice of tomato. .. they charged $13 for this worthless sandwich. The Turkey wasn't much better. We will never go there again.

This place went from our favorite place, to our least favorite place. We hadn't feel there for about 6 months and after we ordered and walked into the dining section, we were shocked. It was disgusting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Over 1/2 the tables still had dirty plates in them and the table we chose by the window had not been wiped down. The floors were disgusting with crumbs all over and tiny pieces of food smashed into the floor. It looked like they hadn't washed the floor in weeks[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were only about 5 tables occupied. There was no one in line when we came in, nor after we ordered, so they were not busy and could have easily had the tables cleaned and wiped[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. My husband took a napkin to wipe off the crumps and wet spots and the napkin ripped and stuck to table where there was sticky stuff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Oh! I forgot to tell you, that on the way to our table, my husband saw a cockroach on the floor. When he went back and told the counter girl, she just said, "ok, thank you", and didn't even ask him where it was[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. He came back to me and said she didn't even seem interested, so I told him to go take a photo of it and we need to report this. As he was taking a photo of the cockroach, the girl walked up and swept it into the dustpan. He told her about all the dirty tables and she said they were understaffed and left with the cockroach. A little while later, she came back and cleaned 1 table near us. That was the only time, while we were there, that we saw anyone clean anything. My husband ordered the chicken pomodori panini and when it came, it looked like 2 pieces of toast with nothing in it. It was a joke, as it looked like the cook took leftover remnants, of each ingredient, from eaten food and put it in his sandwich, and my Chicken Rosa pasta was not at all like the description. The top was covered with toasted breadcrumbs, so you couldn't see the ingredients and when I mixed it up, I saw that I did not get cavatappi pasta. It was thick spaghetti or linguini (which I do not like) and no spinach, nor Parmesan on top. It didn't look appetizing at all. We decided to give everything back and ask for a refund. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we went for our refund, we walked around a drink spill that was about 4 feet long with a yellow Wet Floor sign in the middle of it. It was still there after we got our refund and were leaving. Honestly, it wouldn't take much more time to mop it up, instead of placing a sign in the middle of it[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. There were 2 girls standing at the counter, so we went to one and asked for a refund. We showed her the sandwich and the pasta and nicely asked her why we were served these. The other girl came over, and the girl we were talking to, showed her the items and told her to ask the cook why he did this. We could see the cook just standing in the kitchen looking at us. They agreed on the refund and one girl gave us our refund, and her only response about everything, even the cook messing up, was that they were short handed. We told her that if the cook was behind, we would understand waiting longer, but serving us food like my husband's panini or my dish having wrong AND missing ingredients is confusing. (I wondered if we were served this because we complained about the cockroach and the dirty condition of the restaurant, but didn't say so.) We went to give her our drinks back, and she said we could keep them. We thanked her for that, and went next door with the drinks to Chipotle. We had a great meal there and they did not mind us bringing in our drinks from the Corner Bakery.

Sarah tok my order and placed the incorrect. When I questioned the manager Suzanne about a number or how do I receive my food, she says I never ordered. All to discover the wrong sandwich was ordered. She was very rude and in apologetic for the cashier mishandling, as well as hers. She (Suzanne) was rude in handling refund. I choice a healthier alternative today, all to get an alternative treatment. Michael, the general manager stepped in once I asked for him and handled the situation. Thank you to Michael for offering to comp my lunch today. He did an awesome job in defusing the situation. read more

The quality of the food is good but the portions & prices are terrible . If you have a big appetite don't come here Or you will overpay to fill up . I payed $23 for a tiny Turkey pastrami sandwich ( which was salty as hell) a BLT & a drink, A total rip off !!! This place is Panera with a different name. read more

Finally we get a corner bakery! I've been craving this place for a while. Temeculas moving up in the world. Get the spicy Asian pork sandwich. Bomb. The service here is so good (so far) that it's creepy good. Hospitality is definitely on point. Come through and you won't be disappointed. read more

The Swiss oatmeal and the Anaheim panini sandwich are great. The employees were friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed that they were out of bagels at 9:00 in the morning. My disappointment continued when I completed my order and looked for a table. There were at least 10 empty tables that were dirty. I flagged down an employee and had her wipe down a table. A moment later, after my wife leaned up against the freshly wiped table, I notice a big ketchup stain on her shirt. The food took about 20 minutes to get to our table. I don't think a the food is quite worth the trouble. I hope they turn things around before my next visit. read more

This restaurant is incredibly slow. Took over 30 minutes for 2 bagels and a power flat. The staff seemed super disorganized. Many customers were coming back and returning their food because it was so slow. read more

It is very similar to panera but a little more expensive. But at this particular location the staff is so friendly! And all I'm looking for in staff is that they're not rude because it kills my appetite when they're mean. BUT HERE THEY'RE GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE YOU HAPPY. Always checking up on you, see if you're okay, if you want a dessert and they do it in a way that doesn't make you feel awkward for not buying anything more. read more

Corner Bakery in Temecula...it's about time! We lived in Orange County for many years before moving to Temecula. We loved walking to Corner Bakery on weekend mornings to enjoy a leisurely breakfast! When we saw that they were opening one in Temecula we were over-joyed! We went for breakfast this morning. Although we weren't able to walk there (like we did in Orange County), we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The staff was smiling and attentive and the good was great! We will definitely be back! read more

Went in to order to go lunch for some friends and I. The girl taking my order was very friendly and helpful being it was my first time.I ordered the Uptown Turkey sandwich, the Tomato Mozzarella sandwich, Chopped salad and the Caesar salad. A lot like Panera! We had crappy service here, but the manager did totally make up for the situation and it was much appreciated. I had the Southwest Salad, which had barely any chicken on it and I would not get again. My husband had a Turkey Panini and he liked it a lot. The baked goods look delicious and the Chocolate Chip Cookie I had was really good. I think this would definitely be a great place for coffee & dessert, as there are many tasty looking options. read more

So glad we came here. We have been going to try this place for awhile now, but never did. Everyone was very nice. Place was clean. Wife got chicken with pesto and chips. I got the uptown turkey. (Avocado, tomato, lettuce, bacon) with a mixed green salad with the house vinaigrette dressing. We were very happen with the choices we made. The guy keep coming by to see if we needed anything, which is great customer service. read more

Although this is a chain, I really enjoy this location! They are consistent and always accommodating of modifications. They also have a nice selection of espresso drinks that I enjoy and they are much quicker to pick up than your typical coffee shop in the morning. To top it off, all of the staff are really friendly. The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because there was one time when I tried phoning in an order since the app wasn't working and they turned off the phone because they were overwhelmed. With COVID, I prefer to order ahead but this probably would've been a non-issue for me if we weren't experiencing a pandemic. read more

I have never been to a Corner Bakery ~it has a different vibe than I expected. It was hustling and bustling as soon as you walk in. I'm hoping as I visit more, the fast food/cafeteria/buffet feel morphs into a Corner Bakery Cafe atmosphere. I liked the Caramel Latte I ended up ordering. My daughter enjoyed the 4 Berry Smoothie. I will be back when I am on that side of town and try the food. It seems good for big groups or families that don't mind it loud and bustling. Loved the local pictures on the walls and the friendly servers. read more

Stopped in to try the BBLT. Had my service dog in training with me. They were very accommodating, even offering water for the dog. I ordered my sandwich to go and although they were busy it did not take very long. The sandwich was delicious. The bacon was crispy and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. If you are not familiar with this area it can be tricky getting to the parking lot. You can see the store from Ynez but have to go into the mall area to get to it. Worth it! read more

It's rainy, and soup sounded good. Got a bowl of chicken noodle. Not a ton of flavor, noodles were mostly broken up, and there's a ton of oil :( definitely didn't hit the spot or fill me up; the little piece of bread it came with was delicious though. Daughter had soup and turkey sandwich. Really basic deli turkey, but good portions. Not super impressed. Not bad pricing though. Place was clean, which is always nice. Maybe I'll come back, but probably not. read more

VERY good food... Especially the cookies. I have come here the past two times I was driving through Temecula valley for work and wow... Great food. I took my nagging ex wife here and even she liked it...... And she isn't positive about anything so that's saying something. The place does get busy... But that's in large part due to it being good and new I imagine. It's not like mcdonalds where if the service doesn't flow faster than shit through a goose you get pissed... So hold your wad there and relax.... Quality food takes time and you don't need to be in such a rush. I would give five stars but it is kinda pricy for fast casual. It's very panera breadish both in food options and the restaurant style in general. Do yourself a favor and go here... The foods great and doesn't induce diahrrea like the place next door.... Cough cough TGI Fridays! read more

Mac and cheese is better than Panera's however when they told me their combo was cheaper than buying a cafe and adding a salad, that just wasn't true. Atmosphere was nice and Caesar salad was good. Their applewood bacon sandwich was very tasty with sweet crispy bacon. read more

Went during lunch time and surprised to see it pretty empty. Ordered at counter, paid, and took number to stick in holder at table so food could be brought to our table. Simple decor, simple table set up. Several tables needed attending to as I brushed crumbs off booth seat before I was able to sit. It is basically a sandwich shop with soups or salads. More like a Panera but better prices. Got paninis which were okay. My Italian was very greasy so I couldn't finish it but what I ate was nice. Wish I could say it all was really good, it wasn't, but it was okay. I've had worse. read more

The fact that Temecula has not only one, but two corner bakery cafes is quite dangerous to me. Highlights-- Chocolate Truffle Coffee. Seriously, it's the most amazing and delicious form of caffeine on the planet. If you're a vegetarian like me, go for the tomato mozzarella sandwich, caesar salad, or the mac and cheese (just make sure they don't put bacon on it!) I absolutely love the tomato mozzarella sandwich. It's so good. Mozzarella, tomato, balsamic vinegar.... it's incredible!! read more

I've been eating at corner bakery for years. One of the things I like to order is the berry Swiss almond oatmeal in the morning. But every time I go to this location. You get berry Swiss almond oatmeal, WITHOUT the berries. Filled with bananas instead. And some raisins. There was one 1/2 of one strawberry in the oatmeal. And because the clerk at the counter who seem to be a manager, seem to be cold and unapproachable. Very short with me while I placed an order. I felt like I was bothering her. And with that, it made it hard to go up to the counter and make a complaint about this terrible oatmeal I wasted my money on. I wouldn't be writing this yelp post. This is my second visit here for breakfast and it does not disappoint. Friendly service and our waitress who took our order was very clear and pointing out that on my power thin Panini will be thin and it will be small which is fine with me. It was good to know that when it arrived it was small and it was thin so I can see why she was warning people but again worked out perfectly for what I needed! We also were able to sample some of the muffins, which were very tasty. Very good coffee and chai. read more

Stopped by before grocery shopping. I like the menu choices. After I ordered I was a little nervous because I could hear the manager talking to the kitchen staff telling them how to cook eggs. Yikes! One of my go-to breakfast places. The majority of the staff is awesome, and the assistant manager is out of this world. She is always so sweet, and I enjoying seeing her smiling face when I walk in half asleep for coffee :) They really go above and beyond for their customers! To my surprise, their house-made sandwiches are served on freshly baked bread, made with fresh ingredients, and cost under $10 (Panera could never!!!). Their baked goods were also reasonably priced with generous portions. We picked up the Cinnamon Burst Bread, a cinnamon roll, a honey bran muffin (which completely stole the show for me; it was incredibly moist and I'd come back just for that) and an almond poppy seed scone. The service here was just as impressive. Everyone was so friendly and personable and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. I also loved their "Giving Rack," where anyone in need can take free baked goods. It's such a thoughtful idea and says a lot about the kind of business they are. One tip: book your tasting appointment as early as possible, because those slots fill up quickly. And if you're working with them through an all-inclusive venue, you'll need to pay a little extra for the premium flavors - but trust us, they're worth every penny. I was happy to receive great coupons to this bakery, since I have never been there before. Now I came in at 9:26 am on this day 8/22 only to be told that your restaurant is "out of potatoes", they "normally carry it but are out". I have been holding out to use these coupons since my husband and I (like any breakfast lover/eater) need potatoes to complete the meal. It seems as if this establishment either does not value the guest or have mis managed the ordering of necessary food items. Either way, this was not a way to welcome a customer. As a manager of a business, I always provide my team and guests the why behind every matter. So maybe informing your staff with a why the potatoes are out, and not just a complete disregard for the matter would have improved the situation. On a visit prior to this at 12:30 was told was out of soup? Ordering supplies seems to really be a huge issue here. Do not come, even if the coupons look great. I was also surprised that it didn't come with any traditional breakfast sides. The only options were pancakes or toast, and for the price, I expected a choice of potatoes or something similar. You cannot make your own omelette either. Overall, It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything that would make me want to come back.
