This is my favorite Corner Bakery in the area. I've been going here for years, even after moving to another part of the metroplex- whenever I am in town, this is my spot! At any time of the day, service is consistently excellent and fast. One thing I like in particular about this location is that the employees are always friendly. It gets very busy during lunch time on weekdays and breakfast through lunch on Sundays, so be ready to stalk a booth! I will always feel at home here, and compared to the other locations in the metroplex (I am always driving around town, and I love Corner Bakery in general), this is the best! Great job, guys!! My favorites: the Anaheim scrambler, commuter croissant (breakfast served all day, besides the potatoes past a certain time I believe), the salad trio, and pretty much anything else off the menu- the sandwiches are great, and you can't go wrong with anything to me! I've been eating here for years, including doing take-out during the past year. Food and service have always been good, although I had a couple of hiccups with take out service. However, my last two visits and been below par. The first visit, about a couple of weeks ago was a pick up order I had placed online. I arrived a little after the time it was supposed to be ready. There was only 1 cashier. I went over and, when it was finally my turn, I asked for my order. She looked behind her and there were no orders there, so she asked me if I had checked the pick up table. I was not famliar with this, so I went over and found no orders on the table. I went back to the cashier. She asked me what I ordered and I told her. She couldn't find it on the system, so she just got the 2 pieces of cake I ordered and paid for online and handed it to me. Today I went to have a relaxing breakfast, which turned out to be anything but. After ordering my food I went to find a table. The first two tables I checked out had not been wiped down. I finally wiped one down myself and sat down and waited for my order. After seeing two tables of people who sat down way after I did get their food I flagged down a server and asked where my order was. She said they were backed up in the kitchen. Another 10 minutes went by without my food. I flagged down the server and she said she would check on it. I finally had to go to the counter and aske the cashier what happened to my order. She came over to the table and told me they were making it and apologized (I was surprised a manager didn't come over) and asked what she could do for me. I asked for a complimentary dessert, which she got for me. Finally about 35 minutes after I ordered, my food arrived. Thankfully, it was very good. I understand restaurants are shorthanded because of the pandemic, but that doesn't explain why other people after me got their orders about 10 minutes after I sat down, and I had to wait over a 1/2 hour. read more

Ordered from work. $30 worth of food including delivery & everything , got charged $36 for some reason. They sent my order thru grub hub & it never came. Manager said it was picked up so it's not their problem . Grub huh said the driver was 5 mins away ( but this place is literally on the other side of the parking lot from my job ) but still never got it ! Unprofessional as hell ! The customer service received from manager Jacob C. was horrible. I was visiting their store yesterday afternoon to get a cinnamon rolll. Jacob tells me they are fresh out of cinnamon rolls and gives me the display cinnamon roll. I told him I would prefer a fresh cinnamon roll from the pan and he goes on to tell me it is fresh. I asked him again, if he had any cinnamon rolls in a pan that hasn't been sitting out in the open all day on display, and he pulls a pan from the cooling tray where they keep the rest of the pastries and there magically appeared two cinnamon rolls that he LIED and said they were out of. He still refused to sell me the cinnamon roll I asked for!!! He then offered me a drink...I didn't want a drink. I wanted the cinnamon roll that was available for purchase and Jacob C. lied and said that didn't have. Why lie about a pastry and refuse to sell it to me? read more

Be sure to check your items before leaving if you're getting a to-go order. My fiancé and I came here to grab some sandwiches and soup to go (since I had been feeling poorly for the past few days). The girl taking our order seemed thoroughly confused and had to repeat our order bak three times (meatball panini and a soup and sandwich combo. Turkey pretzel with baked potato soup). We then waited for about 15 minutes for our food. There were only three other individuals in the restaurant, and we sat quietly watching the teenage employees joke around, talk, and act unprofessionally. Finally our food came out. Before leaving I checked the bag. No soup for me. I mentioned it to the manager who hurried to grab me a soup, apologizing profusely. About 5 minutes later she walked back, empty cup in hand, and said "no wonder they forgot your soup! Were out of baked potato!" Since when does being out of a product make it acceptable to short a customer without their knowledge? I was given options for other varieties of soup. I picked one and we headed home. The soup was cold, and my finances meatball panini had no tomato sauce as advertised. I've been to other corner bakery locations, and have always been happy. I will NEVER go back to the Preston/park location, unless I'm in the mood to pay for food that I won't get, and if I happen to get it, I'll be missing ingredients. read more

Love CB. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, dangerous desserts and a nice atmosphere for meeting friends or co-workers. My only issue with this place was the lukewarm coffee. My friend and I both ordered decaf with our meals last week and found it only slightly warm, despite a 9am visit. The staff was great to nuke it for us while they made a fresh pot. It was disappointing, though, to find the fresh coffee didn't hold up well in the carafe. It was lukewarm again when we went for refills. read more

***This review is more for catering*** Corner bakery is good for food yet horrible for service. They need more delivery drivers and to take accountability when they are late. If you tell them what you need they tell you they can do the bare minimum and how they can't guarantee anything. What's the point of having a catering option if you won't be on time and if you can't guarantee the food will be hot. The other location already got rid of catering I wish you would too. read more

I stop by pretty much every other day after work just because it was walking distance. Then after a while I started really liking this place. The staff is super friendly. I came to pretty much know most of them for coming in so often. They even started hooking me up with a free drink or a free cookie. The manager would try and converse with you if you're sitting by yourself; just to make you feel comfortable in his shop. The place is really clean and organized as well. This location is always pack during noon to 1 on sundays. I try to avoid going during those times or calling in for pick up. I usually get the chicken chopped salad or the uptown turkey. The last time I went I tried the Chicken Pesto on Ciabatta Ficelle. The bread was toasty and just a bit chewy. I really liked the pesto mayo spread. This location is very close to the house, so it's a very convenient place to go to when we want something relatively fresh and healthy. The only complaint I have is the fact that management doesn't bus the tables outside fast enough. They have a tremendous amount of Grackles that dine on the leftovers and defecate all over the outside seating. read more

Service here was terrible. Friend and I had to ask a passer by staff member to wipe off the table, then ask her again to dry off the table after she left it in a wet mess. The young kids delivering the meals were not much better. He brought me a salad, pivoted on his heel, and promptly left with any silverware.
