Great addition to your food crawl in flushing for chashiu rice or if you're feeling hungry and have only 10 dollars you can get a giant thing of chinese roast bbq park over rice and it's super filling if you were to eat it yourself they give you so much meat. It was like 8.71 when we paid and it hit the spot. Definitely authentic flavors here, though as far as chashiu goes I think i've had better but you really can't beat these prices and how convenient and fast it is, especially with how close it is to so many other food crawl spots (white bear, peking duck window at shanghai you garden). Best Peking Duck Buns! I was here for one thing and one thing only. The Peking Duck Buns are what they are best known for and that's what I got. Over the years, Corner 28 has changed locations and costs have gone up but the taste of the Peking Duck buns might even be better. For $2.50 I got one pillowy soft cradle bun for a meaty, tender, juicy slice of skin on roast duck addressed lightly, but properly with a scallion and cucumber julienne, along with a slight hit of a hoisin based sauce. This isn't a snack for those that are on a health watch, but for those that can partake in a nice juicy, albeit a little fatty (maybe a slight under exaggeration there, haha) piece of duck, well then you have one (or two) glorious bite waiting for you. What would go for 2-3x what they charge here (ranges depending on ingredients selected) at something like smorgasborg is a creative noodle etc roll-up that is halved and stuffed in a little bag. The roast pork is not as tasty as before, but doable. The chicken wings are still slamming. The service is the same as before. Walk in order, then walk to the back and pay. Of course it's CASH ONLY. The layout and look is exactly the same as before. Must be a new guy cutting the roast pork because slices are uneven. I like it thinly slices, but there were a lot of thick slices. To order the meats, tell the ladies in the front what you want. They'll give you a receipt which you have to bring to the cashier in the middle of the shop to pay and verify. Then hand you receipt back to the ladies. Cash only. They used to sell peking duck buns but that is no more. I ordered a roast duck, however it was a bit of a disappointment. The color of the duck skin was dull and not the nice golden color it usually has. There also wasn't much meat, too bony.
