I wasn't at all what I remembered from the 90's to the early 00's. I was happy with the service my server was friendly & attentive kept my drinks filled & was on top of everything so I gave him a wonderful for that. Corky's can improve a bit on their nachos they were a little soggy with barely any crunch. I was bored with the flavor of my sausage. It wasn't bad but I've had better as far as the taste & quality of flavor Their ribs though were on point reasonably smoked spiced & sauce. Sides weren't half bad but there's room for improvement & have potential to be the best. Same with the rest of the menu. I do have to give it to the Tamales as far as anything outside of their main stays. Cheesy gooey meat sauce on fleek. Be sure to like their FB page & tell a friend. https://www.facebook.com/CorkysCollierville/ read more

Picked up dinner for the crew. Went inside even though they have a drive thru. Their drive thru is one lane with no area to go around. So if you get stuck behind someone....you are stuck behind someone. I ordered BBQ chicken nachos and a BBQ plate. The young lady taking my order was pleasant enough. Order came out promptly. The nachos could have been presented a bit better and had a little more cheese. The BBQ plate was fine. Corky's is pretty consistent. Their food is not going to knock your socks off but if you are looking for a bite of BBQ - they will fit the bill. read more

BBQ joint a few Notches above the rest. Clean, good food and good prices. Had the dry rub ribs, which fell off the bone and were not too salty. BBQ sauce is quite good. Skip the pecan pie read more

So delicious. The staff were super friendly and very attentive to us as diners. Can't say enough about the food. I have the ribs, my wife had the brisket, and my son had ten fried wings. Everything was exceptional. read more

Well folks. I have to say, I was very disappointed in my Corky's experience. I read the reviews and checked out the review ratings and found myself in anticipation waiting for our arrival to this infamous establishment. So I'm gonna just put it out there. I'd try it again to see if it were just an off day. We had an appetizer of catfish nuggets and tartar. The fish was fresh, hot and crispy crunchy on the outside, flaky on the inside. We had the lunch special which included a pork sandwich which came with slaw on the sandwich. The sandwich was quite tasty, not dry at all. It came with fries rolls and 1/4 slab of ribs. The rolls were warm and easy to butter. The sauce on the ribs was good, not too sweet or rich and evenly coated on the meat for a baked on grilled entree. The downside was the meat was bone dry, no pun intended. Everything was moderately priced and portion sizes were good. ThAts all I got. Hopefully a second visit will render an experience similar to its predominant reviews. read more

Excellent customer service at the drive-thru! I will be returning at a later date! The wait to prepare my food was worth the wait!

Always quick and excellent service. Great BBQ chicken, spaghetti, hush puppies, corn on the cob, rolls & iced tea!! Hit the spot perfectly for a Saturday lunch!! What else can I say?!! read more

Food was great and our server was amazing!!! Will definitely be back again!! Thanks for great dining experience!!

Pretty sure some of my food was made days in advance. Food took forever to come out, strange for a bbq joint and I was the only customer in line. I asked for no sauce on my meats due to diet restrictions, got home and found out almost everything was sauced anyway. The brisket was some of the worst I've ever paid money for, chewy tough and bland. The sausage was old and dry. Cole slaw and green beans were gross. Pulled pork was just ok. Only thing worth returning for was the ribs. Very disappointed that they ignored my no-sauce request, I had to throw away half the meat because I couldn't eat it. Probably for the best since most of it didn't taste good anyway. read more

I had a call in order. The lady taking my order was very busy but very kind and attentive. When I arrived to pick up my order, the employees were very polite and efficient. Food was perfect! Thankful to have them in our town. read more

decided to go through drive thru. i ordered a pulled pork bbq nachos. i stayed in the line for 15 mins before getting to the window. i paid and received my food. i checked my food before leaving it's COLD. the lady at the window didn't try to come back so i could get a refund i had been sitting there already and didn't want my food remade. i ended up having to blow my horn because the lady never came back. i asked for a refund she went to get the manager he comes to the window "you had a question?" i said i would like a refund my food is cold. his response "we just made it but if that's what you want okay." bad customer service and management skills. 10/10 wouldn't recommend. read more

I recently visited the re-opening of the Corky's Poplar location and all I can say is WOW! Not only does the place look amazing, but their food hasn't skipped a beat. I think their dry ribs are without a doubt the best in town. Our table got a sampling of several different items because we couldn't decide. Other than the ribs, I'm not sure what we enjoyed the most... the chicken tenders, tamales and chili, or the catfish! Whatever you order here, you cannot go wrong. We can't wait to go back! read more

Lived in Memphis 30 years ago and used to enjoy Corky's then. Was visiting in town recently and had to go back. Worked my way through a large rack of ribs, which was excellent. If you like Memphis BBQ, you'll enjoy eating here. Servers were friendly and attentive. read more

So delicious! Highly recommend for large gatherings/catering. My favorite is their sauce!

Always good! Best BBQ and chicken in Memphis! Great choice for having an event catered!

Corky's is going down hill. Service is poor, serving portions are getting smaller and price is getting higher.

Although the ribs looked good... They weren't. Skip the dry, tough, overcooked ribs and fill up on the rolls. They are the best thing here read more

Love their food and wonderful service. The waitress was so nice. Shame I can't remember her name. 10/10 highly recommend.

We got a Corkys all the time for their barbecue love, their baked beans and their strawberry cake is delicious

Wonderful food, courteous and fast service. We had half chicken plates, green beans, slaw, and baked beans. Everything was perfect. Better than Corky's on Poplar and Cordova, and Commissary locations. Chris, our server, was outstanding! read more

Service Above and Beyond!! Thank you so much Wade and Crew. I'm from Collierville, however, I currently live in Florida, and one of our old neighbors passed away so I wanted to send them some BBQ for dinner. I called the Corky's in Collierville, and Wade did an AWESOME job of taking care of my request. My sister picked up the food from Corky's and she informed me that everything was good and fresh. She also informed me that the service was quick and that they were very friendly and accommodating. She also informed me that Wade even expressed his condolences to the family. I would love to meet Wade and the crew the next time I go home to Collierville. read more

I love Memphis BBQ and Corky's is one of my favorites. The rolls and buttery and salty and the meat is always tender. I love the pulled pork sandwich, my husband loves the ribs and brisket. Their BBQ sauce is my favorite BBQ sauce of all time!!! The service is always quick here and they are generous on drink refills. The Mac and cheese and baked beans sides are delicious. Yesterday I was here and there were ants crawling on the table at the booth we were sat at. We didn't care all that much because we just moved booths and they cleaned it and fixed the problem right away. But yuck!! read more

This is my second poor experience here. The first one was pre-Covid and that was bad enough. The second one was just this past Saturday. I put in an online order that was 41 minutes, a bit long but I figured OK. When I got to the store I waited an additional 30 minutes. The staff was AWESOME but there were only like 3 people working. If they can't get the staff, they should either NOT open the restaurant or do something. The poor workers just couldn't even answer the phone. Not sure what the owners of this place are doing to help. Of course things are hard because people are getting paid not to work. NOT GOING AGAIN. EVER. read more

Don't bother trying to place an order on the phone. They'll leave you on hold for ten minutes and then hang up and not answer it again.

Food good ..however ordering thru drive thru or online..they NEVER get it right. CHECK YOUR ODER Went back to get items and the kitchen worker? Pushed it back again because he had other orders. Ridiculous read more

I ordered a Smoked Sausage Sandwich with slaw. This is a great idea. It's delicious and Full of flavor. It's big enough for 2, perfect for sharing. The brisket meal is pretty good. In hindsight, I should have ordered dry. The seasoned fries were fresh and tasted homemade. The slaw and beans are always a hit. The 1/4 slab ribs for $4.99 is a bargain and they fall off the bone. I prefer wet. Curbside service could have gone better, but the food was incredible for take-out. read more

Corky's on Poplar always offers the best service which is fast and friendly. I didn't give 5 stars this time because I use to love their spaghetti and I think the recipe has changed and it's not as good as it use to be. Kind of bland and yucky now, tbh! The green beans were also pretty bland but I hope to go home and doctor them up for better flavoring, if I can. Everything else was great as always and this is the only location I truly enjoy. It's worth the wait and hassle of parking if your patience allows and you're in the mood for good ribs. read more

I haven't been here in a long time and since Captain John's is closed in Sunday's & my kids are here from Pittsburgh & they are demanding BBQ so here we are. I am hoping they will deliver on the Memphis style ribs and brisket. The sausage & cheese plate is good and on par with the others in the area, the bbq nachos are pretty good but the chips are not as crisp and seasoned as they could be. Before I get to the main events I would be remiss if I didn't mention the rolls, everyone talks about the rolls and yes they are good and we got some very fresh and hot out of the oven rolls, nice. One more mention, the spaghetti was a huge disappointment for me. I have always looked forward to that side dish on the past but this was bland almost with no seasoning, the pasta was overcooked and I just could not eat it at all which was unfortunate but it is just a side dish and they removed it from my check and the cole slaw is good so onward and upward. Dry rubbed ribs and pulled pork. Just what I expected in a "low and slow" cooking style. The ribs of both varieties have a solid flavor and my family seemed to enjoy theirs without any complaints but I have to be the one who just didn't enjoy the meal, why me?? Well I am back to the opening to this review and that was Captain John's was my first choice and that's because I often prefer the beef. When I ordered & received the beef brisket sandwich here at Corky's I was seriously hoping for something good, but it was really not good at all. I honestly don't know what brisket they pulled that beef from but it was really sad. I could go on but I just want to close the door on this portion by saying I have had better brisket in gas stations, enough said. The people, atmosphere and overall dining experience is just fine for the majority here, but I am afraid that I can just find much better barbecue in lots of other places for my individual palette. read more
