This place is amazing! The atmosphere is beautiful and elegant. We made a reservation and were sat by the large glass windows overlooking the golf course and waterfalls. It was a wonderful experience for our anniversary. The service was wonderful, our server Tristan was incredibly helpful and kind! Finally, the food was DELICIOUS. I ventured out of my comfort zone and got the coddled eggs which comes crème, asparagus, and Gruyère, in addition to bacon and tomatoes. It was divine. One of my favorite restaurants in Temecula. I used to always get the Waldorf Burrata salad. The burrata was so fresh. The grilled chicken was so flavorful. And the dressing was perfectly balanced. Sadly they stopped serving it. Pretty much everything is good. The only not-so-great items we've had were the pancakes. They were dense and rubbery, probably because they over stirred the batter or made it ahead of time. And the Wild Kale Salad. The dressing was cloyingly sweet and the kale was chopped into large pieces vs thinly sliced pieces that make the kale more tender and appetizing. Been here 4times in the last 6 months since moving to Temecula last year and I would say, it's always a pleasant experience. Views especially in the morning is beautiful. Not too busy too, so it's the perfect breakfast date spot. We had pork carnitas and pancakes and it was delish. We came a little bit early for our dinner reservation one time and we were told we can sit at the bar while waiting. I had espresso martini and i loved it. It's been my got-to drink here. Also, when I think of caesar salad, I instantly think of Cork Fire's because it is absolutely delicous, add salmon & you're good to go. We went to Cork Fire and it didn't disappoint. We had a 10am reservation. The only thing we were not counting on was the parking situation! There weren't any open spots. There were plenty of people parked and golfing and attending events. When we left after 11 there were more open spots. I'd suggest a later brunch on a Saturday. The dining areas are beautiful. Lots of natural light. Everything is cozy. The seating and spacing. It was warm and bright. After we were seated we were informed that the restaurant is cashless. Not an issue for us, I would only suggest that they change the notice of information to tell you at the hostess stand before seating you. It might be an awkward situation if you're told after being seated. The food was incredible. We ordered the buttermilk pancakes as a starter. And enjoyed our drinks and meals. Disappointing Experience Despite Beautiful Setting We were in Temecula visiting our son and daughter-in-law and decided to try something new, so our son made a reservation at Corkfire. The drive in was lovely, with scenic views of the lush golf course, and the main dining area had a beautiful, cozy ski-lodge vibe with gorgeous views. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill after we were seated. We ordered iced tea for the table, but when it arrived, each glass had visible tea residue at the bottom. We had to send them back, and getting replacements took even longer. The delay was so confusing that our server thought we were sending them back a second time. The food was underwhelming, especially for a restaurant that appears to present itself as high-end. We've had better meals at more affordable places. The ambiance suggests a fine dining experience, but what we received felt more like a mid-level chain restaurant -- both in food quality and service. Our server was friendly but not very attentive. She didn't check in about the food and seemed reluctant when we asked to see the dessert menu, almost as if it was a hassle. Our total came to over $400 for four people, with only one alcoholic drink ordered -- and it simply wasn't worth it. While I've seen many positive reviews and hope this was just an off night, we won't be returning. There are other places in Temecula that deliver a far better experience for the same price point. read more

This restaurant was so great, we dined there twice this week. What makes it special? #1 the people- from the outstanding hostess staff to the INCREDIBLE bartender Tobin, this guy went out of his way to make sure we were happy and helped us make the best drink & dinner choices. He was always there to check on us, even though we were not seated at the bar. He hustled and was friendly and welcoming. Cuesta was also exceptional. What we noticed was that the ENTIRE staff worked as one. They happily helped each other out and were always warm and gracious. This is UNIQUE in the restaurant world. #2 The food was really delicious. Favorite choices were the seared scallops, filet Mignon and Brussels sprout side. I really liked their crisp peppery wedge. It was straight forward but that's why you get a wedge, right? #3 ambiance-Dogs are welcomed on the patio which overlooks hole one of TCI Oaks course, so it's a gorgeous view and at night the string lights sparkle. Some constructive yet positive feedback for my friends: our least favorite dish was the squash blossoms but ONLY because they were fired earlier and reheated so that made them good, rather than great. I went on a Wednesday eve, after a nice round at TCI. It was barely happy hour and the place was starting to fill up. I sat at the bar, which has a nice view of the restaurant and golf course. (Better views had outside no doubt). I ordered their standard burger and was not disappointed. It was hot, juicy, and full of flavor. Fries were crispy and salted perfectly. I booked a reservation there for Thanksgiving dinner 2022 because the pictures on the website look so fresh and thoughtful, even though, at the time of my reservation there was no published Thanksgiving menu. They did get around to putting it up on the website before the day. And while the menu sounded less than traditional, which had me worried, it turned out to be very traditional, in the best way possible. My family and I go out to eat every thanksgiving to what we think is the best restaurant available in the local area. We never go to the same place twice because exploration is part of our tradition. However, we may just break that tradition now. Everyone (me, my adult daughter, and husband) all agreed it was the best tasting turkey, gravy and stuffing we have ever had. Seriously, the white meat turkey was so moist, it was crazy. Why isn't all turkey that tender and most??! For desert we had chocolate something (can't remember what it was called), and the donut holes with raspberry and caramel (so good!). We sat in one the large elevated booths in the bar. But somehow it didn't seem like sitting in the bar. It felt both comfortable and grand at the same time. If you want a more traditional dinning experience, make sure to ask for the dinning room when you make your reservation. Tobin our server made us feel at home with his affable demeanor and the service was lighting fast. I think we got our food about 5 min after ordering. I was expecting 15-20 min. First & foremost, the place is beautiful. The aesthetic is welcoming & warm. We came here for dinner before watching Brenton Wood perform live at the Pala. We were greeted by an incredible waitress EJ, who was not only knowledgeable about the menu but incredibly friendly. We appreciated her energy. The first drink "Room with a View" is one of the best drinks I've had in my life (per recommendation of EJ). 10/10 highly recommend. The presentation was immaculate and it did not disappoint. The drinks were a nice compliment to the food as it was amazing as well. We had the maple bourbon wings & Brussel sprouts. Amazing. The restaurant has great views of the golf course in the daytime. At night, the lights in the distance twinkle atop the darkness of the golf course. The ambiance here in the restaurant is upscale with a rustic edge. The seating is comfortable. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Our server was excellent! We ordered the brussel sprouts and jalapeño cornbread stuffed squash blossoms for our starters. Both were superb. I'm not normally a brussel sprouts person, but they were delicious! For dinner the wife and I shared the wagyu steak. It was amazing. The sister and brother in law shared the short rib. I tried a bite and it was so tender and flavorful. Wow. Waited more than 30 minites but no server at the scene. Notified the front desk/receptionist but still no one for another good 20 minutes. So we left. The receptionist lady with glasses clearly saw us leaving but no apoligies, no goodbyes, nada, to me that was very unprofessional. We got off to very rocky start last night. When we arrived we waited at the hostess stand and no one helped us. When the hostess finally arrived, I let her know that we had a 7pm dinner reservation. The hostess abruptly let us know that they were slammed so our dinning options were the bar or to sit outside (it was cold). I was skittles annoyed because what's the point of making a reservation and receiving a confirmation if we couldn't have an actual table. We decided to sit outside.When we got to the table it took a good minute for someone to help us . When our server came she was absolutely the sweetest person ever. Her name was Nicole and she began to turn our experience around. We did try to order the jalapeno cornbread blossom but they were sold out, so we decided to get the blueberry hummus, which was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the fish and chips. The chips were "okay" but the fish was amazing. It fell off the fork and was so light. My husband got the grilled Cesar salad and added prawns and it was fabulous as well. Nicole brought out a birthday treat for my husbands birthday. Thank you Nicole for your outstanding service and kindness.
