After eating here several times I am pleased with the flavors and options. I am disappointed at the cleanliness of the dining area and restrooms. I do consider this a reflection of the staff and management making me question the cleanliness of the food prep area. I will likely not be eating here again. Have been going since the soft open. The food is great. A few times we've had an issue pop up with our dish; example... we are vegan and the cook our chicken on our dish. I really hate to leave this review. It's not at all what my intention of going to this place was. I am gluten and dairy intolerant. I get very sick if either gets in my food. I take a digest pill EVERY TIME before I eat out and haven't had an issue in years. Corelife claims to be completely gluten free MINUS their wraps and tacos are not...which if anyone has ever been taught correctly, YOU CANNOT CLAIM TO BE GLUTEN FREE if you aren't 100%. The employees knew very little, if any, about allergies. Now, I understand the times we are in. This is a new restaurant that pays well and has plenty of young adults to chose from being in Murfreesboro. The employee that made my bowl was very rude and sarcastic. I have managed restaurants, bars, and a retail store. I know how to handle employees that are having a bad day or just don't want to be there. I kindly asked if she was doing ok and I got a snarky giggle and a "umm yeh" followed by an eye roll and "what else do you want". No direction as to what to do and absolutely no idea how to handle someone with an allergy. I'm very easy to please as long as my allergies are taken care of. She did not tell me how many items I could add and also didn't offer any tips. The next employee came in out of nowhere and started working on my bowl. Keep in mind, tortilla and tacos shells were touched with no worry of cross contamination. The station where they serve was a mess and and things were mixing together. Still, I was very excited for a healthy choice. I got to checkout and paid $18 for my meal. Now I pay higher prices for food all the time due to my allergies, so it wasn't a big deal. I had a few minutes to spare in between appointments so I sat down to eat. Fast forward 10 minutes down the road, I vomit everywhere and will spare the other details. Threw up every single piece of my $18 bowl. When I get sick from gluten or dairy, I am sick for weeks if not months after. I have a 2 year old and can't afford to be ill. Today has been rough and my body is not happy. Needless to say, my experience was awful. The staff should be thoroughly trained on allergies and cross contamination. Also, you never know how someone's day is going. Someone should have pulled this girl aside and checked in with her before letting any other customer interact. I chose to be friendly and continue ordering even though I felt very uncomfortable. Please stop claiming to be completely gluten free when you are not. Your staff has no idea how to handle it and it's the company's job to train them. read more

I'll be moving to another state and this is definitely a place I will miss terribly :(. My favorite item here is the Southwest bowl . Meanwhile when this place popped up I was weary because the name seemed super healthy and I really was not in the mood for crunchy granola. However, they got food y'all. And I ate waaaay too much and I didn't care because I was eating food that was going to healthily nurture me well into the morning. We have been eyeing this place a while before it opened. Finally made it over and I was very pleased with my food. I'm not a huge healthy eater but could not get enough of my food. I got the Spicy Thai Chicken & Rice Noodles with the Thai Cashew Dressing. All the flavors really popped. The atmosphere is great and the wide selection of of teas and lemonades were great. I have been meaning to stop by here to try this place. I ate a donut this morning so therefor I had to reconsider my life choices for the rest of the day. So I needed healthy but I wanted filling. Core life was both!! I got the Tuna Poke grain bowl. Lots of leafy greens and delicious toppings. The tuna was very good as well, it was dark pink, that's how I like my tuna or purple! I got the cashew Thai dressing instead of the one it comes with, excellent decision on my part. Entered the restaurant towards the end of business hours on a Sunday (one hour before closing). There was no one at the counter. Waited several minutes before going and knocking on the kitchen door. Through the window I could see two employees, one was eating and the other was standing there talking. A couple of minutes later they sent someone out. While I had been waiting, I noticed that the prep area, food area, and floors behind the counter were all messy, dirty, and flies were buzzing around the uncovered food. The employee making my food was not wearing a mask and sighed heavily into my food twice when struggling with an avocado she couldn't cut well. They were out of black beans but offered to substitute extra rice (so I agreed). They were out of grilled peppers so she substituted fresh peppers instead. The food, mostly the chicken, was good tasting. The uncleanliness, however, was a strong negative. Not sure I if I will give them a second chance. read more

Went here a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my college aged son. We both ordered the tuna poke bowl, and his was the upsized version. Very pricey, in our opinion, for what you get. Basically a salad restaurant. Interesting concept, and healthy as opposed to a lot of restaurants in Murfreesboro. Noticed molding vegetables in the display behind the servers. We felt like it gave the impression of more choices than you actually had. No complaint with the salads we ordered, except my son was still hungry when he finished. It also appeared that his amount of tuna -even though he ordered double protein - was the same as mine, he just had more greens in his upsized version. No plans to go back anytime soon. read more
