This spring, CORE roofers and siding staff have replaced shingles, siding, and screens damaged during a hailstorm last September; the total job encompassed 29 housing units. Under Project Manager, Jerry Beeman, CORE prepared a re-roofing schedule to allow everyone time to plan for the arrival of shingles and shingle removal/replacement. The roofing crew was professional, hard-working, and efficient arriving at my home a half-day early and politely asking if they could begin shingle removal to gain time on the next day's completion date. They protected the garage doors from falling shingles and tarpaper with sheets of plywood, the hedges and trees with tarp covers, and thoroughly cleaned the drive and yard prior to leaving the first evening - they repeated this procedure on the second, completion day. All CORE employees were respectful and friendly while being safety-oriented. The siding crew arrived to remove damaged siding, apply plastic weather-seal, and replace the siding and rather than use ladders, took the time to erect scaffolding to allow a safer work area and to support quality re-application. This crew too, spread protective covers over shrubs, hedges, and the air conditioning unit, then cleaned up the yard exceptionally well when the work was completed. Mr. Beeman replaced all the shredded screens himself, carefully re-screening the custom frames and replacing them in the tracks. Because my home has a very tall wall, he asked to be able to work from inside my office to replace the screens from the inside, rather than leaning a 32' ladder against the newly replaced siding. He also provided several great ideas for replacing a deck cover for which the original materials are no longer available in the market. In my opinion, CORE Contractors and staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, timely (maintain schedules), and hard-working. I have read several of the negative reviews. It appears that they have zero clue as to how TRULY insurance claims are processed, and scope of work performed. For those who have not had to deal with "Act of God' insurance claims I will put this as simply as I can before I tell you my experience. IF ANYONE is trying to commit fraud it is the very insurance company you have. They quote low and typically fight you for any additional monies that YOU are owed to "make you hole". That is where a great company like Core comes in. They are in business to both protect you from the insurance company, and employee fellow Coloradans. The truth is what ever the insurance company gives you and your contractor, is NOT your money. Unless you choose not to have the repairs done. I was 2 weeks from closing on my house for sale. The hail came and destroyed my home. With a final inspection looming I was put in contact with Nate at Core. In understanding my issue they made SPECIAL accommodations to get my WHOLE house repaired prior to the house closing. They worked well into the night to meet the deadline and got the job DONE!!! Upon inspection they passed with FLYING colors! I never had to take any money out of my pocket for the extra overtime. They just did it with a smile and a request. I pass along my story and their name. So here I am. If you want a TRULY trustworthy company, that is faith based. Then Hire CORE!!! What it cost's to fix your home is market value. DON'T TRUST ANYONE that says I can save you $ from the insurance claim and 'HIDE" your deductible. It's not your fight for the cost with the insurance company, the contractor is on YOUR SIDE and will fight to 'MAKE you HOLE" again! GO with CORE! When we bought our home core contractors "fixed" our gutters. We had john come out to give us another estimate on fasia and he said it would beca week before he got back to us with our estimate. Two freakin weeks later after we email and call him inquiring about the estimate, he emails an outrageous estimate to me. We hired a father and son team at half the cost and they find out that the gutters put on by core contractors weren't put on right at ALL. they retained all the water over the past two months of rain because they weren't draining at ALL. they didn't put the downspout back on correctly and it was spewing water all over the roof. The gutters were dripping water all over the sides instead of properly draining. The father/son team adjusted our gutters to drain the water and it drained for 15 minutes alllllll the old smelly water that built up. I'm very, very disappointed with this company and the lack of care put into my home. I even called our mortgage consultant who referred core to us and told him. He is incredibly embarrassed and will no longer be using core as his referral company and is looking for new contractors to use. All john could talk about is getting yelp reviews so plan on getting a few more from my husband and I. We won't ever use this over-priced, shotty work company ever again. After last September's hail damage totally annihilated 29 homes in our home owner's association, Core Contractors was chosen as our repair team. While I'm not on the board and don't know anything about the financial logistics or insurance issues, here is what I do know after living through a new roof, new siding, and power washing of my deck and fencing ... these guys are some of the most hard working guys I've ever encountered. Arriving by 8 AM and not finishing until the sun went down most days - 6 days a week - they worked diligently on the project. They cleaned up after themselves each day. They were always pleasant, professional, and respectful. Jerry - the project manager, was always keeping us informed of any changes in schedule or any issues we needed to stay abreast of. He went over and above board in doing whatever he and his team could do to help us deal with the inconvenience of all that it takes to repair 29 homes and to keep all the people involved in the huge undertaking well cared for and satisfied. The houses look great. From what I hear, folks are happy with the quality of work. I'd definitely recommend these guys as professionals and I would certainly look them up for any further work I ever need. read more

Last winter, my home was covered so thick with ice that I noticed my ceiling was sagging from the weight. I called a roofing inspector and he told me that because of these things called "ice dams" that I was going to need extensive roofing restoration that was going to cost me a lot of time and money. I asked a few friends who I should have do the work, and the name of Core Roofing came to my attention. After having their contractor come look at the damage to my roof, it was determined that I was going to need some extensive restoration, but because the last people who worked on my roof did not do the work properly, Core was going to help me find out if my insurance would cover the cost of the repairs. Turns out, that when we filed the claim, the contractor and the adjuster worked together seamlessly to make sure that every shingle on my roof was taken care of. The insurance covered almost all of the cost of the roof repairs, and I owe that to the in-depth inspection and quality service I received from Core Contractors. We recently had our roof redone by Core Contractors, Roofing Systems. We were very pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of all involved. Laurel Kjersten, account manager was extremely helpful from beginning to end. She is committed to excellent service and was willing to get involved during and after the repair. We had a tough roof with four layers to remove, including old wooden shingles that were over 50 years old. The roofers themselves worked incredibly hard from early morning until late at night. It took about 3-4 days to complete due to the nature of our job. The workers were here everyday until the work was done. After the job, there was one minor repair to complete and with Laurel's help, the roofers came back promptly and the issue was resolved without any problems. The job was messy, especially removing the old wood, but the cleanup was thorough and we were very pleased with the final result. Core worked with our HOA following a catastrophic hail storm and managed to get our insurance carrier to realize the massive extent of damage to roofs, siding, window & other exterior items done to the 29 homes in our subdivision. Our total damage estimate went from just over $120,000 to nearly $750,000 with Core's intervention, with Core being totally responsible for that mitigation. In the end all 29 homes received a new roof and nearly 80% of the siding was replaced. Numerous windows, screen & other exterior damage was repaired. Without Core Contraction we would have suffered mightily as a community. A subsequent hail occurred a year later and Core was contracted by most of the individuals in the HOA to facilitate that repair work. An HOA or an individual cannot receive a higher quality of service or attention than that which Core Contractors provide. We cannot recommend them enough. Core Contractors were very courteous and professional in all of their interaction and constantly kept me in the loop. I met a number of Core representatives throughout the process as each focused on a specific function and segment of the total repair as I needed replacement of roof shingles, Solar panel removal/installation and replacement of damaged copper segments. Core worked very diligently and acted as my advocate in all interactions with the insurance company and strenuously represented my case with a very positive outcome. I am part of an HOA Board in Denver, and our condo community recently had our roofs replaced in a 15 building complex. Even though Core Roofing and Solar was not the one to replace them (we didn't know about them when we selected a vendor), we did use them to inspect the install. They provided incredibly valuable insight and support to the the HOA Board after the replacement to ensure the roofs were installed correctly. Not only did David from Core Roofing scale our roofs to get an up-close inspection of the roofs, but he also used drone technology which resulted in dozens of images for our review. A comprehensive and detailed report was put together that included specific information to allow the Board to effectively ask questions of the roofing company who did the replacement. I needed to replace the 6500sqft flat roof on my 70 year old building. The existing roof was well beyond it's life expectancy and had many leaks. The building is in a downtown area and houses an operating retail business. Core installed 6500 sqft EPDM roof with insulation and a tapering system that fixed all of the problems with our old roof. Core worked with our neighbors to insure they understood the impacts of the install process... there were no issues. The retail business was not impacted during the project. The new roof was installed on time, on budget and with no issues. The 20 year materials & workmanship warranty also gives me piece of mind for such a large investment. The roof is working great and I look forward Core returning in the summer to make some modifications when our new roof top HVAC system is installed. read more

Very glad we chose Core Contractors for our roofing and siding project. We were concerned about the roof of our new-ish, Parkwood home due to some degradation of the shingles in one area. Upon inspection, Core identified quickly that there was no issue at all -- it was due to previous workmen climbing around the roof! The shingles themselves had not lost their integrity, so it was only a cosmetic issue. Another roofing firm quoted us thousands of dollars to correct this non-issue, so Core saved us a lot of money right off the bat. We then asked Core to correct for some defective siding -- again an issue with the home builder. The work was efficient, cost-effective and clean. Core worked with our insurance company and found things the adjuster missed that we felt should have been covered. Insurance adjuster agreed.This has been a huge job repairing approximately 29 homes. Core is doing great, zero complaints from us. Everyone on their team is professional and polite. They do a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day. Have I found a few nails? yes, but I have watched them clean up and believe they are doing their very best. Since my wife and I both work it was imperative we hired someone who could do the any job without us being there. We had a leak early winter. Core came out and did a estimate to replace a bad section of the roof while we were at work. We then set a time for the job. They came out and replaced the came after I left for work and left before I got back. One of the easiest home repairs I have ever had. The price was right as well..specially for the service. My only caveat was that I wished they took credit card for larger repairs like mine. But I'm sure they get killed on fees. Will use again. read more

Core responded to my request quickly and professionally. They showed up on time and very professionally. While it's clear we did have a leaky roof he couldn't find a leak. He climbed up caulk a few locations and did not try to up sell me. He did this for no charge as his assessment found no reason for the leak to continue. He said it will be fine if not reschedule and the will pull shingles and explore further, I've had no leaking since. I will use this company for future roofing needs. read more

He was also accommodating as we had to dry in our construction project well before the actual roof was installed. Once we decided on the shingle, the project moved forward quickly and on time. David from Core contractors was recommended by our insurance agent. He came to our home and was professional and courteous! Our roof had been damaged by hail in Park County. We thought this could be challenging since it was in the mountains and in a some what a remote area, but not for Core Contractors. They were on it!!
