They have favorable reviews for a reason! During the year's first rain, there was a leak through one of our light fixtures and we sent a bunch of messages out. Jeremy responded within minutes and we set up an appointment quickly. I, unfortunately, was irresponsible and missed our appointment, but he still inspected and sent a quote that evening. I reached out for his opinion, and he was honest in what he thought would get the leak solved for the least cost. He suggested a patch and seal job would last at least half a decade, which fit our needs, but obviously a full replacement would be a more permanent solution. As we opted for the patch and seal, his team were quick to get the job done, and payment was super easy. Fast forward a few months to early May, when it's been raining nonstop the past few days, and no leaks! Of course, I hope the work they've done lasts longer than five years, but I know who to contact when I need it. read more

What a great experience. Jeremy is a guy that I will gladly tell anyone "totally knows his shit - inside out, and upside down". To top that off - and I'm dead serious here - he saved me about $20 grand solely due to his experience and knowledge. He discovered weather related damage that I had not seen or recognized, mapped it to a storm that hit the area while I was out of town and engaged my insurance company with expedience and expertise. And let me tell you - this was no scam - he was just right - and the insurance adjuster who came out and inspected my roof very carefully completely agreed with Jeremy's conclusions. The roofers he sent out were amazing. They replaced my roof in one day. They did a super good job and left the place 100% clean. Very friendly, hard working crew. The county inspector told me that it was one of the better roofing jobs she had seen - and let me tell you, this lady has been at it a long time. The gutter crew he sent out - also A1. I had one small problem and they came right out to fix it, no questions asked. Everything happened when I was told it was going to happen, and how I was told it was going to happen. I used Yelp's "request a quote" tool and R3D was never able to actually provide a quote for some reason. Nor were they able to discuss product options in any way shape or form. They sent Daniel Carty out on 8/4/23 who attempted some hard sales techniques to get me to sign a work order immediately even though he provided no quote at all (does R3D know what "request a quote"means?) He also threw out some total nonsense about roofing. I've worked construction and have family in the roofing business , so I'm pretty comfortable getting past BS salesmen. I said I'd need the quote before signing anything. Never agree to construction work without getting quotes/bids first - a real contractor provides a quote before you have to sign anything. I gave them two more opportunities to provide the quote they were advertising on Yelp (all the other contractors had provided quotes by that time). The last response from R3D was via email on 9/6/23 when I asked a third time for the quote and response was: "we are so booked up we won't be able to get to your roof until next season." That's an evasive response, not a quote. How are you supposed to even consider a contractor if they can't provide a simple quote for the work and providing a quote is clearly what they are advertising and offering on Yelp? So I went with another Yelp roofer that was also booked out a bit but was capable of providing a real quote, real product options, and not just lazily taking an insurance claim and assuming they wouldn't have to do what they are advertising. I've done multiple roof replacements with multiple contractors because of Colorado hail. I've never encountered a problem (hard sell and evasion) like this (or any other problem) with any of the previous contractors. I have family that work in the roofing industry (in a different geographic location - it's standard to provide the up front quote to customers and calculate the labor and materials cost for roof repair), so I respect the business, but never trust a contractor who gives you the run around. The "request a quote" button here on Yelp is designed to get you an actual quote, it's not an R3D button (which will get you the runaround at least 3 times until your are done). read more

My all star rating is for Jeremy coming out to our house to do a free roof evaluation to check if there were any issues with our roof that might have led to a leak in our upstairs bedroom ceiling during the last rains. Wow! I'm impressed. I called on a Saturday afternoon and he made time to come by Sunday before a storm to see what was needed. He was able to find matching tiles (mine were damaged) even though mine weren't marked. And the final price was even less than he had quoted me. He was kind enough to also make an extra stop to rearrange some tiles that were banging due to a giant wind gust when they kept me up at night before he had me scheduled for the repair because he hadn't picked up my tiles yet, but he swung by quickly to help so I wouldn't be kept awake all night since the damage was above my bedroom. Our house had a shake cedar roof that was original to the house installed in 1977 and was showing it's age. I checked the reviews of several roofing companies, and was impressed with R3D. I gave them a call and left a message Jeremy responded back quickly and came out to look at our roof. The reviews I read were spot on. He is friendly, and knowledgeable. Pointed out the damage and looked for weather events in our area to present to our insurance company. Unfortunately our insurance company would not budge and pay for the roof, but that was no fault to R3D. Jeremy put together a great package and went to bat for us. They just would not budge at all. (We'll be shopping around for another insurance co.) We decided to pay out of pocket for our roof, which we had planned on doing. I asked Jeremy for prices on regular, storm rated and presidential shingles. He responded quickly and his prices were competitive with the regular shingles being the cheapest and presidential being the highest. I asked questions about the differences between the storm and presidential. Jeremy was honest and gave the facts. Never an upsell and no pressure. He even gave us addresses of local customers so we could see the difference in the look of the shingles. We went with the storm rated. They scheduled us quickly. The crew came out when they said they would and even came out the day before and removed snow from our roof. Took them two days and the roof was done. They even removed our old swamp cooler, patched the hole, and installed/roofed in some bath fan vents that I provided. The crew was courteous and friendly. When they were done they left the area clean, picked up everything and hauled it away. They also replaced the roof on my shed at no extra charge, so it matches my house roof. I also had them replace our gutters. There was a slight misunderstanding with the crew, and they accidently removed my downspouts as well. I called Jeremy and let him know. There was no hassle or issue. R3D covered the cost of the downspouts. He had his gutter guy replace the downspouts at no charge to me. Brandon, the "gutter guy" was great as well. He met with me went over the job, repositioned some of the downspouts to better locations. His guy came out and was courteuos and friendly. He had the gutters and downspouts done in about 3hrs. I am completely satisfied with the end result and working with this company was a pleasure. We've been in our house for 20+ years, I was always hesitant to get our roof done and waited for many years because I just didn't know who to trust. You can trust this company. We paid exactly what was quoted, there was no pressure or upsell, they did a great job, Jeremy and the crew are friendly and knowledgeable, they left our house and yard clean, and Jeremy was always available to answer questions. Despite being quite handy, I was no match for our mystery ceiling leak. After half a dozen interactions with overconfident dudes who banged around on the roof for five minutes then offered expensive solutions to "try," my already shaky faith in human competence was waning. That, and we were nearly considering burning down our home for a fresh start. Thanks to Jeremy, you won't be seeing us on an episode of Dateline. He's now been here twice (with no guarantee that his time investment will result in paid work for him, BTW), going above and beyond to look at the problem carefully and come up with the best plan. I have a slow leak appearing on ceiling of a back room in my house so I wanted a roofer to check for leaks. Wow, what a great company! We had hail damage and I was lucky enough to stumble upon R3D Roofing and especially Jeremy. He was so great to work with, helped us navigate the whole process including being there when the insurance adjuster visited, and working with our insurance company to get us upgrades, etc. He helped us pick out roof that looks great and updates our home, and helped us with new gutters as well... he even waited around while my sister-in-law drove over so she could look at colors before he ordered, lol.
