Food was delicious. Service was great and the ambiance was amazing! Will definitely be coming back!

Wow! Clean, bright and refreshing atmosphere. We had a house margarita and a pineapple margarita. Both were excellent. Chips came with 2 different sauces and refried beans. They were tasty and the chips were fresh. Menu is small. Tacos, enchiladas, soups, salads. We had the Birria tacos, carne asado tacos and the Caesar salad. All excellent. They did mess up the order on tacos but were quick to fix. Seems like an upscale restaurant with ordinary prices. We will definitely be back!! read more

Best Mexican food in AZ. Alejandro is a fantastic waiter. Run do not walk to this gourmet Mexican restaurant. This is not typical tex mex food it's gourmet Mexican food. ENJOY your dinner. It'll be a night to remember! read more

What a great find! Not your run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. The ambiance is casual elegance - it almost made me feel like I was on vacation! I tried the Chile Rellenos and they were some the best I have had in years! The flavors were clean, fresh, and vibrant. The menu is a bit deceiving as it doesn't appear that the entrées come with any sides, however I was served 2 kinds of salsa plus a bean dip with chips, and with the dinner came rice and extra tortillas. The service was great as well. I can also say that the place was squeaky clean which is a huge deal in my book! Definitely recommend! Come out and support this new local family owned restaurant! read more

New place in the neighborhood so had no expectations and was excited to try it. The seating area shouted upscale. The bar looked fancy and inviting. So far so good. The staff were very nice and friendly. Once seated we were given complimentary in-house made delicious chips which were accompanied by both a red and a green sauce as well as a bean dip which I found unusual but in a good way. The bean dip was great, the green sauce was tasty and with a little kick. The red sauce flavor was subtle, which isn't what Mexican hot sauce is supposed to be in my opinion. Seemed bland. Bold will get your appetite going. The queso fundido consisted of a blend of cheeses and a flavorful chorizo and was served sizzling in an iron skillet along with corn or flour tortillas. Was great. Careful, it's hot. The enchiladas Rojas are made with seasoned shredded chicken in a corn tortilla, covered in a delicious red enchilada sauce and sprinkled with cheese. The beans were of a thin consistency so they spread out thin on the plate and were cold within a couple of minutes. The rice was what looked and tasted like plain brown rice. Nothing added to give it more flavor and color. Overall experience was ok but this restaurant looks like it should be awesome. A frequent date destination. I will go back to see if the first impression was an anomaly and can earn that 5th star. Ambiance and service are 5 star but some food items need tweaking for my taste. read more

We live down the street, and were excited to see this place "in the works". Finally got to try it tonight, and it's definitely our new favorite spot, and within easy electric bike distance :) Corazon De Agave is definitely classing up the neighborhood, it is beautiful inside, nothing like it near here. Hessen greeted us with a smile, he was attentive and pleasant, and had great suggestions. We agreed that it was the best aguachile and tortilla soup we have ever had, can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu, everything looks so good. Thanks for coming to the neighborhood! Met the owner Monique, she is a doll! read more

Food is very tasty. The ambience was elegant, very clean, and inviting. I had the tacos

We just arrived in Phoenix and consulted Yelp for a highly rated restaurant with Mexican food. Corozon de Agave checked all the boxes. The high rating is well deserved. The decor was clean, modern and inviting. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and SO reasonably priced. We knew we were in for a tasty meal when they served the complimentary chips with 2 salsas and bean dip that were all familiar but also unique. The house margarita was great. My husband and I ordered the Enchiladas Verde and Suiza. The waiter was helpful with recommendations and we were grateful. We both cleared our plates. Sadly, we were so hungry that we ate without capturing a photo, but rest assured the presentation was equivalent to the delicious food. We split a flan that was a perfect conclusion to a delightful meal. Highly recommend, we can't wait to go back and try new things. read more

We were so excited to try this new place in our neighborhood and it did not disappoint. The place has such a good vibe and you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into all the details. The service was exceptional!! Our server, Patrick, even gave us an unexpected complementary dessert! We tried the strawberry margarita and cucumber jalapeño margarita and both were great, cucumber jalapeño marg was my favorite. For dinner we had the Al pastor and carne asada tacos, the meat on both of these was so flavorful and tender. Hands down probably the best Al pastor I've had. We will certainly be back and excited to try more items on the menu! read more

We went to Corazon De Agave for the first time tonight and it was delicious! We went early because we have two young kids, but by 6 PM it was about 80% full! The staff were so friendly and were super kind about the mess that our one year old made. We ordered the fajitas (steak and trio) and the guacamole. Everything was fantastic, fresh, and hot. The flour tortillas were perfect for little taco sized bites. Finally, the ambiance was great - super clean, comfortable seating, and aesthetic. We will definitely be coming back and making this a regular spot for Mexican dining. read more

I loved this restaurant. The food and service were first class. I had a trio of tacos, all were delicious but the Al Pastor may have been the best I have ever had. We tried several different Margheritas and all were fantastic. The service was amazing, shout out to Israel who did a fantastic job. The presentation was beautiful and the ambiance was very nice, I forgot I was in a strip mall. Highly recommend, we will be back. read more
