I'm an extremely busy girl. Planning Yelp parties, raising two kids, baking a baby in the oven (month 7!), playing music gigs around town, trying to remember to breathe so that I can stay alive long enough to make dinner and still somehow manage to look reasonably cute. My life is packed to the rim with goodness but sometimes it can become overwhelming. Fellas: I dare you to live my life for one week and I'd be amazed if you were still standing after day three. What I liked about Copy Hut was the quick turnaround time and really great pricing. The posters and fliers turned out wonderful! If you do event promotion be sure to ask the owner Dave if he'll be a print sponsor. I had him as an event sponsor and he printed the posters for free. I saved $89 and It really helped to preserve my very tight budget so that I could spend the money on other fun things for the party. Woot! Alright Yelpers! You guys recommended Copy Hut so I'm doing a print job with them--don't let me down! :) Gotta say--it's all been waaay super easy: 1. They've got a 10% off offer for first time customers--yay! 2. All I had to do was call to talk about details and get a quick & easy cost estimate. Nice, friendly person on the phone (Tiarra) and efficient. Loved that! 3. Provided credit card info and emailed the file; didn't even have to change my pajamas. 4. It was a small job, just a poster with an easel-back, but I'm not in Honolulu and can't be there to handle it. David and the team at Copy Hut are A M A Z I N G!! I had ordered 150 Save the Dates through Costco, and 3 WEEKS LATER, I still had not received them. After calling Costco and UPS, apparently, they were lost somewhere between Baltimore, MD and San Pablo, California... whomp. So much for planning ahead. We needed to get these out NOW! David took the time to reformat my pdf, edit my jpg to to a 4x6 size, had them printed on cardstock, cut and ready to go in less than 24 hours!!! And they cost me less than 1/2 of what Costco charged. I did eventually receive the Costco order and they were TERRIBLE. The photo was pixilated and blurry, and the wording was cut off. So garbage. Obviously, no personal service there, they just ran it though a machine and sent it out. Thank you so much for all your help David! We looked for several estimates before we chose a company to print personalized thank you cards for my grandfather's funeral. Copy Hut was our hands-down winner for multiple reasons. First, of course, was the price. After explaining exactly what we wanted--our own personalized cards with a picture that my grandfather had drawn--nobody beat them for cost. Period. That alone would have won us over, but Copy Hut didn't stop there. Their service was also exceptional. We got quick and accurate replies to every question. Follow up was also quick. There was a moment when my daughter sent the electronic file of the card and I worried that something would get messed up in the translation to the actual card, but my fears were happily unfounded. The final cards, which included envelopes and some extras, came out better than expected. Wholly professional. Last but not least, staff was very pleasant. Certain other big-name places had us dismayed by displaying a lack of knowledge and an apparent lack of concern when we approached them. I'm now a regular Copy Hut customer and I have to say that I really appreciate their honesty when you ask for a quote. Because my job requires me to price out numerous print shops for our projects, I called Copy Hut at random one day and talked to Dave about the signs I wanted to print at such short notice. He told me he was willing to help me even if I didn't select Copy Hut to do the job. After making a few more calls elsewhere, Copy Hut gave me the best deal and customer service at the end of the day. Their shop is a little hard to find on Beretania St. It's right after the road splits into King and Beretania after University Ave. I must admit that I was skeptical about the quality of their products (based on the appearance on the outside), but I was blown away by how professional the signs came out. Dave gave me so many options to produce beautiful signs within my budget and I'm so glad I spent a few more dollars to get the signs laminated. What can I say all the reviews are right, this place is awesome. Had a job that needed to be rushed, copy hut helped me with my own design and had the order done faster than they estimated. Dave the owner, seems to really care that his customers are happy regardless of the order size. Not really sure if they're the absolute cheapest, as I didn't bother calling every single print business on the island, but they were cheaper than most, and their customer service is worth the extra few bucks if you do find cheaper. I have been printing all my event flyers and posters at Copy Hut for the last 3 years. The quality is superior and the staff is always very helpful and kind. This is also definitely the place to go to for fast turn around - they have accommodated many of my needs to print flyers on the same day. Most recently I went to Copy Hut to print a 8-page program for National Dance Week Hawaii. After the programs were printed, we noticed we submitted wrong information and thought we'd need to spend a few hundred dollars re-printing everything, while needing the programs to be available the same day. David called within an hour and offered a customer-oriented and money-saving solution. And the job was done before the day ended. I'm truly impressed with how much everyone at Copy Hut understands and accommodated our needs. Instead of just re-printing everything and making more $, David was on his customer's side. Copy Hut is truly a hidden find and one that I am extremely grateful to Yelp to find. Their quality is good, the prices fantastic, and service is great. Those three together make it a place that I definitely would frequent often! I've taken color and black/white projects to them, some were big and some were small. In all those cases the service was quick and met the deadlines that I needed by (usually last minute btw). Their prices are incredibly low and I think you would be hard pressed to find another shop that could print for lower than them! The quality of their printing is very good, however that being said if I needed something really high quality I would probably consider another printer. They do a very good job, however if I needed something a little more higher end done, I would probably consider spending the extra moolah (probably a lot more than just "extra") and hit up Professional Image or FedEx. The location is convenient with lots of parking in front. It is quick to miss off Beretainia so just look for University Square at the corner of University/Beretania-King and then it is the next building on the mauka ide! It is small and they don't offer self-service if that's what you need. The service is good and the staff there certainly know what they are doing. They offer some very good suggestions when it is warranted and have an eye for the small details that can make or break the quality of your print job. All in all, I am definitely a fan and will be there more often! Be sure to give them a ring the next time you need to get a job done! read more

Every time I come here I usually don't do the ordering. I just pick up the finished flyers or posters that was ordered through the phone by my boss. This place is definitely a hidden place... never heard of this place until I was sent to pick up. Our order is already ready and I am so grateful for the guys that always help me carry those heavy boxes in my car. I would never have the strength to carry them especially 10,000 flyers. At other places I would just get a stare and thats it but here I get great customer service. The only negative about this place is that the parking. There aren't that many stalls to park in probably less than 10 parking stalls and there are other businesses in there as well. But other than the parking everything about this place is awesome! I found this place through Yelp and they turned out to be very good! I needed a poster and some flyers printed from my file. I was lucky that I went on a Monday, so they were not too busy and were able to get my job done that day! The poster looked amazing! It was 24 x 36 and mounted on Quarter inch foamcore. I needed to copy a DVD on the fly for a reasonable price...Copy Hut to the rescue! I"m not very familiar with the various video transfer businesses on the island, so I turned to my fellow Yelpers for help. They convinced me to try Copy Hut. From the moment I set foot inside their front door, they were prompt, professional, and courteous. They completed my order quickly and let me know when it was finished. There were a couple of small problems with my order, first because they failed to notify me that on the day it would be ready they would be closing early. They called me about 30 minutes before their early closing to inform me, but at least they left my order with a neighboring business so I could still pick it up that afternoon. Second, they forgot to include the DVD sleeves that I ordered and paid for, which meant that I had to go back again to pick them up. They did apologize several times for their mistake, however. I would definitely return to Copy Hut for any future needs and would certainly recommend them. I had called on Thursday at 4:45 pm and request their help in printing our programs for the Hawaii Symphonic Band Fall Concert and needed it by Friday since they closed on Saturdays. After speaking to David on the phone, we went over their a little after 5:00 pm (David waited for us because Copy Hut closes at FIVE!!!) and he review what we had to do and gave the OK that he can complete the job for us!!! I had designed a magazine for my company and needed to get 200 magazines printed, with 12 pages front and back, in full-color, matte paper folded, staples center binding, then trimmed edges for full-bled pages. In the end it was about $3.08 per magazine compared to another place we estimated which was $3.77 per magazine. So the price wasn't too bad. PROs Most likely they were printed on laser printers so the finish product had a nice gloss to the pages even though we didn't not choose glossy paper but matte paper. The pictures were clear and the colors were vibrant. The customer service was pleasent. Sent them the files on a thrusday and got the job done by the following tuesday. CONs When I started checking each and every magazine I got a few that had a small rip on the top of the front page. And there were some that still had the trimmed edges stuck to the pages. They weren't big problems but we did pay about $600 for all of them and we're a small company so we're nitpicky about stuff like this. With all that said we might use them again for our next magazine. read more

Usually, there is a sacrifice to be made in a copy shop --fast, professional, low-cost pick one, two if you're lucky... but Copy Hut has fast, professional, low-cost, quality service. If you're looking for quality printing and quality prices give them a call, or better yet --email them! We were looking to revamp our business cards and mocked up a few designs on Photoshop. I saved them as PDF files and emailed Copy Hut the different styles. They in turn sent us a proof (sample) so we could visually and physically see which one looked the best.
