I have to say, as a local business owner- this is the place I rely on for all my printing needs. Su and the team here are soooo responsive- fast- and have great communication. For multiple print jobs they have made edits for me that I couldn't do myself or had to wait too long for our design team to edit- Su did it in a split second. They always confirm and email prints before sending and wow did I mention how fast they are!!? We got quotes for items that most places said would take 3days+. NOT HERE!! Less than 24 hours they had what we needed and ready to be picked up. We were happily shocked! Always coming thru for us when we are in a pinch. Also parking space is available and free- but the spots are super tight and hard to manuver especially if you have kids in tow. This is one of the more convenient printing places located along South King Street, right after Punahou Street with several parking spots right on Elsie Lane. All I needed was 500 black and white copies. When I entered, there was no (I was about to type "menu" :p) price board anywhere, not even in its brochure. Weird. When it was my turn, I asked the lady in front how much it is for 500 black and white copies, and an older man in the back, who looks "boss," immediately answered "20 dollah!" Sweet, 4-cents a page. I'll take it! He quickly took my original and put it in the copier, and set it up. After less than ten minutes, a thick stack of freshly printed paper arrived at the counter all neat and even encased in clear plastic. Nice! As with all the non do-it-yourself printing places, in my experience, they ALWAYS forget my original in the copy machine! They always have a startled look when I ask for it back. Am I missing something here, or am I not supposed to get it back? Not a big deal anyway. This small little shop was my light at the end of the tunnel. It was my last day on O`ahu before going to live with some family on the mainland for a few months and I still had errands to do to tie things up for work. I just needed to make a few copies of some important papers and I didn't want to have to drive down to University to FedEx Kinkos then drive back to ward to turn them in. For some reason, perhaps instinct or God on my shoulder, I thought maybe, just maybe, there would be a copy shop on King street. I'm driving along in the far right lane using my eagle eye glasses to find one. Then, right after Baskin Robbins, I see it!! A big sign that reads: "Copy Express." Yess, thank you Jesus!! I try to get in to the left lane to no avail, for everyone feels like they are in a hurry and they don't want to let me in. I drive around and back then pull in to their itty bitty parking lot. Big clue that you're approaching Copy Express, you'll see Loving Hut & Baskin Robbins, then you turn on Elsie lane right in to the parking lot. They have about 4 or 5 parking stalls right in front of it. I walk in, and it's actually quite large inside, there were only a couple of people working at the time. They have this huge banner at the back wall stating the different things they can do here. I just needed my paperwork to be copied from 1 sided to 2 sided, I didn't want what was on the back of the originals. The guy completely understood what I was asking for and executed quickly. He was nice and friendly as well. Copies were pretty cheap too. I took a card and they even have a nifty little map on the backside, love that! I got everything done that I needed to do and took a few deep breaths in the car, then decided I deserved some Baskin Robbins. So, off I went for my ice cream fix! It was a good day! =o) read more

Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. If you can get there during the daylight hours then you're probably not a night owl like me. It's worth the effort to get great printing at great prices. Since kinkos is so high now, you get two sides printed for what Kinkos will charge for one side. I definitely am a fan of this biz. I just have to get there when the sun is still up. Sigh.... Soooo, I was under the impression that Copy Express was like your "typical" copy/fax place (I.e. Kinkos, etc). So, I meandered in today with just 5pages to copy, assuming it was $.10 per copy... $.50 - PERFECT! I was wrong, because they don't have your "typical" self-serve machines and such, there is a $5 minimum... OY VEY! I literally didn't have time to go elsewhere so as she was copying my pages in back (which was when I realized the min charge), I decided I had no other choice but to "bite the billet and pay $5 for 5 freakin' sheets... :( Toy surprise, however, the young lady came out and explained the min fee before I could even say anything about realizing it, followed by an act of awesome-ness - she only charged me $.52, as I was a brand new customer who genuinely didn't know their policy. A friend recommended this place to me after I waited last minute to get my poster printed for a poster conference at school. I was really screwed because the campus print shop was too busy, and two other places I checked out were also full. I had placed an order at Walmart, but it could only do 30 by 20, and I needed 36 by 24. I liked that I could do the whole thing online, and I placed my order at the end of the day, and it was ready by noon the next day. It looked really professional, and made my research look pretty classy--- not enough to win the conference, but classy enough that I felt OK standing next to it. If there was a way to rate this less than one star, I would! I had three files that I e-mailed Copy Express to be printed (keep in mind, I called them first to let them know what I wanted and spoke to someone, not just a voicemail). I sent less than 8 pages total, and 4 pages were to be printed in color, the remainder in black and white. The total charge for the printing was $1.76 (approx.) However, I was CHARGED $$$$$16.76!!!! They added FIVE DOLLARS to every file (a "file fee"). No one told me this on the phone, nor is it advertised ANYWHERE in their store. Needless to say, I paid because I had no choice (I needed the documents printed for a meeting later that afternoon) but I WILL NEVER RETURN unless I have a ton of pages to print. I guess if it's over $20 they don't charge you the "file fee"...wow, how generous. This place STINKS. Every place ever is better. Drawing your document with a crayon on toilet paper would give you more satisfaction than going to this RIP OFF!!! read more

Don't waste your time if you don't have enough copies to meet their $5 minimum. We needed 2 color copies made so stopped in. The girl behind the counter was standing around looking like she needed something to do. I asked her to make 2 copies for us, but she said no, they have a $5 minimum. WTF kind of business model is that? !? If you are standing around hovering the counter and the only other customer is being helped, get your head out your butt and make sone copies and collect some money. Funny thing is, I actually do make a lot of banners, posters, etc., and was looking for a place that was closer.
