I had to give the guys at Copy Hut - 5 STARS!!!! I called on Monday to see if they could do a business card for me on 'glossy card stock' if I provided them with the art work. I was told to come on in and was I impressed! I had already saved my artwork from ILLUSTRATOR as 2 .PDF files (for front and back of the business card). The gentleman immediately copied my files onto their computer and told me that it was just what they needed. I went in yesterday around the same time to proof my business cards. I went to copy hut to print a small quantity of booklets for school. I knew the job was going to be expensive considering I just wanted one copy of eight different booklets. However Copy Hut's pricing was far lower than any competitor, both locally, online and on the mainland. The Copy Hut staff was extremely helpful in making sure my order was formatted correctly before printing them. They finished the job extremely quickly and the finished product was just what I asked for. I was confused by the terminology that was used and they explained what I had asked for (because apparently I was using a term I didn't understand). They went through my invoice with me to make sure I understood what I was charged for and they encouraged me to call back if I had any additional questions. This place is the bomb DOT com! I brought my thumb drive and had to make copies of my resume (10 copies in total and its two pages long, so 20 pages total) and it only cost me $1. Say whaaa?! Yep, copies are 10 cents which I thought you could only find at your local library. The place is super tiny, but how much room do you need to drop off or pick up copies? The girl at the front was very pleasant and fast, and the owner was playing a kick-ass Hip Hop Pandora station. My roomie gets her copies here too. I like that fact that you can actually e-mail them what you need printed and they have it waiting for you to pick up. Forget FedEx Office across the street, come to Copy Hut! read more

I had reservations about this place at first. It seemed too small to be a printing business. I have NEVER been so wrong in my life. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by a girl named, Tasha. She asked what I needed and gave a variety of options on how to get the most bang for my buck. I needed hundreds of copies to be made the same day and to my surprise, it was completed in minutes. I also found out that they printed banners as well. I have been back several times to use their printing services for parties, tickets, and banners. I have recommended Copy Hut to my family and friends and they always do a great job. I will never come here again and here's why: I came here because they had the best reviews on yelp - boy, did i have a horrible experience. I came here about a month or two ago to get my wedding invitations printed out. I was helped out by Matt. He looked at our invitation paper (which we bought at Creations By You that was PRE-PRINTED with a flower design) He told us that we needed extra paper just in case their first run didn't come out good. We already had a few extra cardstock, but he wanted more to be sure. He told us that we could go buy more cardstock and come back. At this point, he either seemed unsure or lazy, i couldn't tell. My fiance pitched in (before i could) that since we were there already to print our invitations (we drove from Ewa!) and if they need more we'll go buy some and bring it back to them. There's no sense in buying extra if we didnt have to. Well, when i went to pick up the invitations, it looked great...at first. They only cut the first 4 invitations and left the rest uncut. I didn't tell them to cut it, so that was okay. The guy did tell me that they had to use pencil marks to make sure the alignment was correct. At first, i didnt have a problem with it since i figured they were small pencil marks. I headed to Kinko's to cut the invites and when i got down to the last few invites, there were pencil marks ALL ACROSS THE INVITES! Now, when you cut cardstock right on the line, you're going to get a smidgeit of pencil marks on each side of the invites so i had to cut them more to make sure there were NO pencil marks on our invites making them slightly smaller than what they had cut. At this point, i decided it wasn't too much of a big deal and i wanted to get our RSVPs printed out. THIS is where i am PISSED. A few days ago my fiance went down there to get our RSVP's printed out. Let me tell you that our wedding only consists of 25 guests so we don't have a lot to print out. Well, the OWNER ACCUSED my fiance that we had printed the flower design on the cardstock and that he could NOT print out or RSVPs. The cardstock had a slight bend to them since he drives a jeep with no doors and the only place to put the cardstock is in the center console. My fiance repeatedly told the owner that we got it already printed from Creations By You and that they had already printed our invites so what is the problem. The owner told him that since he doesn't know who the company that printed it or what kind of ink was used that his "million dollar" printer (oh really?!, what a bunch of BS) might end up broken. FIRST OFF, IF WE PRINTED THAT FLORAL DESIGN IN THE FIRST PLACE, WHY WOULD WE BE GOING TO GET OUR INVITES PRINTED BY THEM IF WE COULD HAVE DONE IT OURSELVES?!!?!?!!? WE HAVE AN INK JET AND OUR PRINTER SMEARS ON CARDSTOCK WHICH IS WHY WE NEEDED A LASER PRINTER. My fiance kept telling the owner that they printed our invites not too long ago and that obviously their printer ISN'T BROKEN so whats the problem with printing our invites. The owner refused to print our RSVPs because of the design. Fast forward an hour later when i get a voicemail from my angry fiance telling me what the owner said. So i called them and very nicely said "Hi, my fiance was just there trying to get RSVPs printed out" and immediately the guy on the phone said rudely "ya, we can't do it." So i tell him the same thing my fiance told him and then i realize that he is talking to his coworker while im trying to explain the situation! HOW RUDE!! so now im PISSED and he tells me that he doesnt want to risk "thousand dollar" printer (oh, now his printer depreciated in value!?!??!?!) in breaking. So of course i told him that his printer is obviously not broken from our invites and that i bought it from Creations by You and that i can call them and they could tell him that they specifically have that cardstock. Here;'s the kicker: He then proceeds to tell me " well, its only going to cost about $2.00 to print out the rsvp's so there's no point in printing them" BOY, DID I HAVE STEAM COMING OUT OF MY EARS!!! The OWNER of this company TELLS me that since my printing job is only going to be $2.00 that there is NO POINT in PRINTING it for me?!?!!?! TELL ME, WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS OWNER SAYS THAT TO THEIR CUSTOMER?!!?!?!? If i could have punched him through the phone i would have. I have never experienced such RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND BULLSHIT SERVICE before. I'm going to follow up with the BBB about this company. I too am the "I hate kinkos", so when I was looking for a good, fast, quality printer I came upon Copy Hut. The local, real (non-corporate) customer service gets a "two-thumbs up". They were able to be flexible at a reasonable rate for my order. I didn't feel like I was talking to a machine, like the kinkos staff, but instead I was able to confirm any doubts before press, which is a reassuring feeling with a dead-line. The service here is great. I was working in Hawaii and scheduled to fly to Japan on a Friday to teach a class starting Monday. On Wednesday evening I discovered the training materials (45 books--150 pages each) had not arrived and were lost. In a total state of panic, I called Copy Hut Thursday morning and asked if they could coordinate with my print shop in California, and print the books same day so I could handcarry to Japan.
