Quick lunch time before we hop onto our plane. It was a busy day at the airport and all the restaurants/food places were packed! We got lucky to get seated for 6 people. Staff was very attentive and friendly, she was always smiling. I ordered the Cowpoke Philly and it did not disappoint! It was delicious and pairing it with sweet potato fries was on point! Everybody seemed to enjoy their meals and definitely enjoyed their drinks. Since we were a semi-big group, other noises did not phase me. I think there was a child that was pretty loud but no bothersome...and it's an airport. Can't ask for too much! The location of the restaurant is great as it has large windows that gives out natural lighting and the view of the tarmac. Wouldn't mind eating here again if I come through this airport. read more

Service ~ server was slammed. Took 15 minutes for my friends to get their wine which was quickly followed by their food. They were gonna be late for boarding so asked for boxes. They rushed to slam some of the food and departed quickly. I joined them after they had ordered. So I ordered a turkey sandwich with fries. Food ~ atrocious. Period. The onion rings were soft and nothing was hot that should've been hot. My turkey sandwich somehow arrived as a turkey burger. When I pointed out that wasn't what I ordered, I was told "I don't see a turkey sandwich on your order." NO KIDDING - because you messed up my order. I was then told, "I can bring you some avocado to put on the burger." I agreed only because I was in a rush to get to my flight and hungry. When it arrived it looked mildly appealing. Then I tasted everything. The french fries were warm but very cardboard-like and chewy in texture. Not sure how you do that with shoestring fries. Not worth eating. The burger was so burnt no amount of mayo, mustard, or ketchup could cover it up. Only ate about half of it to have something in my stomach. The avocado was pretty tasteless. Ambiance ~ long line to get a bite and long wait times on food kinda ruined any ambiance the place had. The only ambiance was sitting and talking with the best of friends. Disappointing. read more

Not many food options in the BZN airport and we opted to sit down for lunch since we had a lot of time before our flight. The four of us ordered two of the same items: bison burger - 3/5, my colleagues said it was too salty, didn't taste much different from a beef burger, and there was too much bleu cheese. The fries on the side were also too salty. taco salad - 3/5, the ground beef was too salty (theme here) but the rest of the salad was good - tomatoes, green peppers, some lettuce at the bottom, black beans, avocado - with about ten tortilla chips which IMHO wasn't enough. But the portion size was large and neither I nor my colleague finished our salads (partly because too salty!) Service was peppy and friendly (in great contrast to service at Revelry in Bozeman)! Another colleague recommended the mezze plate at the grab'n'go place in the the airport so I may give that a try next time. read more

Nice restaurant in the Bozeman airport offering gluten-free noms! The menu had gf pancakes, beer, toast, and burgers! Couldn't believe I have a harder time finding these things in Seattle! Gf pancakes with bacon were good and our friends enjoyed their omelet. We only had 25 mins to order and eat, and that was no problem. Food came out after only 10 mins, and our server was speedy at getting our check together. Enjoyed the big open room with floor to ceiling windows, a great view of the tarmac and mountains in the distance. No hangry fliers today! read more

No matter how slammed or slow different periods were our server Jair was incredible, consistent and patient. Our party was split and he was so kind to understand that one of us was eagerly trying to get to the table to meet the party. Jair's personality and approach was always with a smile and great warm hospitality. Great staff member. Food was good and cocktails even better! Love a Gulch Distillers gin and tonic. I don't typically expect much from an airport restaurant. Copper Horse Restaurant is an exception! I had a delicious burger with onion rings. The onion rings were some of the best i have had. The seating is spacious with high ceilings. The windows gave a lot of natural night and a great view of the tarmac. Our server was very good. The menu had many options and I would enjoy trying several of them. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Absolutely rude customer service. Went on in the afternoon and the servers are just sitting in on tables doing nothing productive. And chatting away. There's one heavy set, dark haired lady who do not know any ounce of kindness and was outright sarcastic. I asked for a cup of water and she said "just the cup? Or water? Which one is it?" Who in the right mind will just ask for a cup? I had no drinks on my table so of course I am asking for water. They didn't give me any utensils as well. Oh and if they ask you if you want ranch, say no. It's extra $0.75 The bison mushroom burger was subpar. Nothing stellar. Honestly, it's basic. Sweet potato fries is totally MEH. Would have given this establishment a few more stars but service was HORRIBLE. Just go somewhere else. Or skip airport food altogether. I did not read the reviews prior to sitting down and I suggest get your bill as soon as you get your food. Seems like lack of sense of urgency and under utilized staff are issues here. Driving all the way from West Yellowstone to BZN airport, one can get a bit famished. So before the flight begins and the fun stuff happens. A bit of snackage is in order. Centrally located right outside the TSA and perfect dead center of the airport. This spot is about as good as it gets here. Let's review shall we. Chicken Wings: I just went with the basic buffalo style. The pieces were nice and plump. Cooked really nicely and sauced up pretty good. Would definitely order it again. Nachos: Husband got a mound of chips with a generous amount of toppings. So much that it was enough for all 4 of us to share. My beer flight was pretty good, hubbys Pigs Ass Porter was hella yummy. It's inside the airport right next to a fireplace, so there are many lovely places to eat. Their menu is astounding, but I only got the pickle fries. They were delicious with a splash of spice & side of ranch. I was completely stuffed; an entire meal in itself. I was seated at the bar, and there were five people at the bar; three already there and myself and another had just been seated. I was never greeted by the bartender and I had to remove the dirty plate from in front of me. After 7-8 minutes, the bartender tells me he has other people to wait on. I continued to wait, he then asks the man next to me if he wants another drink, which he got right away. I finally speak up and ask him if I am going to get service, and he tells me to remove myself from the bar for being rude. I ask for a seat in the restaurant part where every table was full, yet the server waited on me and greeted me within three minutes of getting seated. I fly in and out of this airport several times a year and am disgusted from the horrible service at the bar. I'll try not to assume that me being a well traveled Hispanic American woman, was not an issue for the bartender. read more

Not a lot of choices in Bozeman airport. The biggest detractor was getting our order taken and paying the bill. The menu is mostly burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The food came out really fast once we got our order in. The Reuben sandwich was good but not great. The corned beef was really chewy. The onion rings were the commercial frozen variety. Copper horse has been solid for as long as I can remember- I don't care about the new trendy bar and grill. The food is great, but the reason I'm so in love with this place is the hospitality. Barbara H is an absolute treasure. She offered me samples of both soups, although I knew I would get chili- (I always get the chili, it's truly some of the best I've ever had, and I look forward to it every time I travel.) Barbara went above and beyond to let me sample a buffalo chicken soup (also WILDLY good) and then made me a special plate with all of the possible fixings for my chili, and tiny buffalo soup sample- like my own little soup buffet. It was so nice and SO cute. 5 stars for incredible homemade soups, and 5 stars for Barbara. read more

They were out of the sliders for the kids meal, which came with two small burgers. We asked if we could sub just a regular burger for the sliders. We were told yes. Rather than doing that they charged us for an adult cheeseburger meal which was double the price but the same amount of food with no cheese and no added veggies, etc. The manager and general manager both refused to make an adjustment because "there was no way to ring up a burger as a kids meal". The Cobb Salad had hardly any lettuce and the chicken was rubbery and bland. The veggie wrap was fresh but not flavorful at all. The onion rings were cold when brought to the table and were kind of sweet and mushy. Not good food and outrageously expensive. $80 for a family of 3....not even close to worth it. I'm giving this review a 3 because my husband's food was okay. I'm a celiac and ordered gluten free French toast. It was the worst French toast I've ever eaten. It was so dry it made my mouth parched. I added syrup and it didn't help. I asked for butter and never got it. We were never asked how the food tasted. We used to come early before our flight to eat here because the food was good. We will bring our own food for early morning departures. Taco Jet has good food, but they weren't open. read more

I've always loved getting a meal before my flight at the copper horse. Not this last time. Waited 20 minutes to be recognized. 45 minutes for food(cheeseburgers) . Burgers were "hockey pucks" as they're known in the biz. Overly well done, dry and lukewarm warm. Fries- cold. Yes- they seemed short staffed. Yes, the servers were nice and pleasant.
