What could have been a totally bad situation turned out favorably when Bianca took control. She made sure the birthday girl had a cake for us all to enjoy. She even covered the food for our friend. Her positive energy in the midst of an uncomfortable situation was a testament to her leadership. In addition, our server, Naphtali, was very patient and attentive. His soft-spoken and peaceful demeanor added to our ability to ultimately have an enjoyable outing. Again, Bianca, thank you so much for all you did to make our evening enjoyable.

My friend had the oxtail grits which she's had before and loved it. My rating is mostly for the initial walk on and experience. However, our food and server was good! There's street parking in the area but there's some homelessness in the area and feisty so just be diligent and careful.

They had a variety of toppings, but I just went with strawberries, maple syrup, and powdered sugar. The French toast was also good but nothing out of the ordinary. I had a little bit of all the things I loved, and I was extremely full after an hour. I did however, save room for one of their tiny lemon, posset desserts. They serve this at their sister restaurant in Silver Spring so I was excited to end my meal with this dessert. Tip is automatically added. Even though the menu stated that the tip was 18%, they added 20. I'm not going to fuss over 2% because I was happy with my service. Whatever it is, it's too heavy for me and detracts from the meal.). The wild rice side dish is very good. Lobster Roll - Excellent. My partner ordered this and the only comment was that the large was very big and next time they likely would get the small one. Lots of delicious, cold lobster meat. The fries also were excellent. The service overall was very good. Our food was served at an appropriate rate (apps, then main, which seems not to be important at a lot of restaurants these days) and the water service was excellent. Recommend this restaurant. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Copper Canyon Grill in Silver Spring with my god-sister, who was visiting from Detroit. She's been working hard to improve Detroit Public Schools, so I wanted to take her to one of my favorite spots. From the moment we arrived, the experience was fantastic. The food at Copper Canyon Grill is always consistently good, and this visit was no exception. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Although we didn't try the happy hour specials, they have great deals at the bar which I'll have to check out next time. For our early dinner, I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which was excellent--crispy on the outside and tender inside. My god-sister opted for the burger, and she enjoyed it tremendously. The service was great as always, attentive without being overbearing. Copper Canyon Grill never fails to impress, and I'll certainly be back. This review is long over due and I must say This has got to be one of the BEST resturants I have been to in a very long time!!! About two weeks ago me and my friends decided to have dinner before we out clubbing, because we were going to be on our feet I didnt want anything to heavy but i also wanted something to fill me up our server mariah recommended the wood grill steak fire and the rotisserie chx salad! A few of us decided to go with the rotisserie salad while the rest of decide to go with the wood grill steak salad! I am so happy our wonderful server pushed us to go with this choice! The steak was wonderfully cooked! The lettuce was crisp, The salad dressing was creamy and delicious! So anytime your on the go PLEASE try this salad you will not be dissapointed I promise you! Tonight at my birthday dinner I witnessed a group of perfectly,normally,polite,happy,Black women being treated incredibly poorly by a short,white,male manager who accused them of not paying.I wouldn't yell at my worst enemy the way he yelled at him.I PERSONALLY saw them pay and leave HUGE and I mean HUGE tips.My husband and I were embarrassed and will NEVER dine here again.A bet he would not have done that if they were male or of another race.This place does not deserve a star.My husband and I are both attorneys and we saw the women get the information of the manager and establishment.I am certain they are going to sue. We also gave them our business cards just in case they needed legal advice.I can't believe this is still happening in AMERICA! This place is a disgrace! I went to copper caynon for the first time last week and im glad i did! The food that i had which was the meatloaf with mash potatoes and greean beans was immensely good!! The services was anything less but great! Our server maryah was very attentive to our needs! When i explained to her this was my first time and followed my explanation with every question you can ask about a menu lol she was very patient and very informative! I also appreciated if she wasnt sure about something she went to find the correct answer instead of throwing random things out! I will say the only thing i wished the menu had a better variety when it comes to being a vegetarian and vegan! When it came to me I was fine since i eat about everything but my friends really didnt have a big selection so i hopethat gets better!! My husband and I have been going to Copper Canyon for over 2 years. We try to make Wednesday Date Night and never, not one single time, have we been disappointed. The food is amazing! We love trying out the specials. There is always something new and different to taste. And the service is unparalleled! Just recently we celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary and my birthday. Waiting on our table was an arrangement of beautiful flowers, a lovely card and gift, and our favorite wine was already being chilled. Our favorite waitress, Catherine Morrison had gone out of her way to make our evening extra special. WOW! The servers are very kind and very aware of their guest! My server was mariah and she was very friendly! I can be very difficult and picky at times lol but she really took her time and explained to me the menu and what was her favorites! Even after i aplogize a thousands times for my indecisiveness, she still remain patient and even started to joke with me! I apreciate when workers go out their way to make you feel good and comfortable! So agin if you ever in the area please hit this place up! They are a little pricey, but trust its worth every dime! My cousin and I went for drinks and dinner and the best thing about this place was the jazz pianist. I ordered a strawberry martini and got cherry koolaid and a shot of vodka with granulated sugar on the rim (When I ASKED the bartender to put sugar on the rim he replied, "oh, you want sugar?) ...things just went downhill from there. I had the salmon which was nothing special - not good enough to justify the $18.00 asking price. My cousin ordered the meatloaf and mac and cheese - the meatloaf contained more bread than meat and lacked flavor....the mac and cheese had lots of cheese and very little macaroni, ugh! This was my first time visiting Copper Canyon with my sister who was in town and we had a great experience. First off, the service that we received from Danielle was great. We were placed on the patio per our request and she was very informative and attentive. She had great recommendations as my sister had the Prime Rib and I ordered just a house salad and collards greens. I was pleased with such simple dishes, the taste was delectable. She had great recommendations for dessert as well as I had the Key Lime Pie and my sister had the Choc. Uprising. The desserts were massive but quite delicious. Everytime we come into town we have to stop at out favorite resturant! No matter the months that elapse this will always be our favorite spot! The staff are always kind! We usually come on a friday and even during busy times the staff is always attentive to us! Our server moriah was very friendly and helpful! Once she found out we were every 3 month regular (lol) she made us laugh through out the night and really made us enjoy ourselves!! ! Also no matter how many times i go I have to have my rack of ribs! Being a southern girl you can never lose your roots!! Lol! I've been to the Columbia location and must admit I was not sold. Was with a group of friends and they suggested Copper Canyon. My past experience was telling me No, but my friends promised me, I would enjoy the Downtown Silver Spring location better. Against my better judgment I decided to give them a try. I must admit, I was very surprised, the Downtown Silver Spring location is amazing. The location is perfect, as you have a front row seat to the nightlife of Silver Spring. Since going with my friends that night, I have been back at least 2 or 3 times. If you're ever in the area, give this restaurant a chance. This is a great lunch stop. Get the get the prime rib medium rare. I am a veteran and I have come there with my kids a number of times. They don't have a veterans discount but when I ask they have regularly given me a free dessert to share with the kids. Their ice cream cake is excellent. Other pro tips, you can substitute the mashed potatoes (though delicious). They do not have a kids menu on paper but they DO have a kids menu if you ask. My 9 year old gets ribs, fries and a drink for $7. My 6 year old gets usually gets a grilled cheese. My family loved this place. The food was incredible, the kids loved their food, my wife loved her salad, and my cheeseburger was surprisingly delicious! Definitely coming here again; must say I loved the atmosphere as well. Our food got to us quite quickly (even though my co-worker who recommended the restaurant to me said he had quite a lengthy wait on his last visit) and our server Makaela was one of the best in the business! very intelligent staff here. I came to copper Canyon on a mother son date with my mom. I'm a very picky eater so I'm usually limited to what I eat on a menu at any given restaurant. I ordered the chicken & avocado sandwich that came with a mountain of fries and fell in love with it. This lead to my love for Avocado as that was my 1st time in 26years trying the fruit. I agree with Nessa R. because Copper Canyon Grill does remind me of Houston's, but without the franchise-y feel. Copper Canyon Grill is much better because they lift it up on every level. The ambiance is a little more elegant, and all the staff, not just your waiter, make it their business to pamper you. Every dish that I have eaten here was great. We visited Copper Canyon on Sunday, March 19 to celebrate my father's 92nd birthday. It was a wonderful experience with delicious food and great service. Hats off to Nicholas, our fabulous server. Came here with a colleague earlier today for only my second time. Our waitress mikaela recommended the chicken and avocado club sandwich which I got with a side of French fries and it was really good. I was a little skeptical of this place because I'm not a huge fan of trying new food places, but I was very satisfied with the food here! THE COCA-COLA RIBS WERE AWESOME, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who goes there. We ordered the soup of the day and Coca Cola ribs and spinach dip for starters. It was amazing. For our entree I have the fillet tenderloin and my girl had the crab dip. The tenderloin was very juicy and tasted like a fillet should. My girl had the crab cakes which were very meaty and delicious. Only gave 4 starts because the prices were kinda high. Love this place, they every time forget to bring simple bread instead of corn bread, but I forgive them because the food is really good there. Steak, ribs, salmon salad, eggrols, burgers. I love simply everything. Ou, by the way, do not order guacamole from entries, really not worth it, but spinach dip is really good. My friends tried a bunch of different items, including the chicken fried pork chop, duck breast, and a burger. Everyone was really happy with their choices and liked their drinks as well - the blueberry elderflower was a particular favorite. I look forward to going back!

Her parents were visibly upset, and it was awkward for us. Her dad drove her car, and her mom drove her own car back to her condo 3 miles away. It was a long ordeal that night. But in summary, Clyde's itself did a great job per usual and also on the house birthday dessert too was nice treat.
