We were pleasantly surprised walking into this restaurant. The ambiance was so friendly and inviting. Our waiter came right up and seated us. He showed us what the specials were and where we could find them on the menu. There were several TV's on the walls showing a variety of mostly sports programming. This was our first time ever in this area and the plaza looked very nice. The food.. We, first, ordered the crab dip appetizer and it was so good, it was gone before I remembered to take a picture of it! lol.. The Steakhouse Burger, minus the bacon, with the peppercorn sauce was pretty good. I think I should have had it minus the peppercorn sauce too. I was in the mood for the burger but the peppercorn sauce was just okay. My husband barely stopped to talk when eating his PB&J Burger so needless to say it was very good! My fries were very good and were "hand cut." My husband had the potato salad that looked a little strange, being as it was completely white, but tasted good! Overall a great experience!

Stopped by for lunch with my brother and his dog before going plant shopping. So happy we did! Our server was attentive even though we were the only ones outside, they had a water bowl for our pup, and the bathroom was really clean. My chicken Caesar wrap was soooooooo good -- I think they grilled the bottom so it stayed closed?!? And my brother couldn't even finish his brisket burger it was so juicy and filling. The other patrons were all really nice, the food & drink prices were great, and the fries are made fresh to order. Can't wait to come back!

Cooper's Tavern delivers on fresh juicy hamburgers, but not without a few flaws. The burger was juicy and well prepared though the thickly cut toppings made it tricky to eat without making a mess and have the topping fell out of the sandwich. The fresh cut fries had great flavor, but lack the crispiness as expected. Inside the decor leads towards the minimalistic side with concrete floors and plainfurniture that keeps things simple, but doesn't offer much warmth.

Double burger - 1lb of beef, perfectly cooked on a delicious bun with cheddar, and bacon. Oh, and a caesar salad ;)

One of the best burgers I have ever had - and great service. Really just wanted a simple burger and got a simply delicious burger. Very glad I stopped in. Compared to where I live, the price was more than reasonable. It has a tavern/bar type feel, so I wasn't expecting the best food, what a great surprise! The burger and salad were really tops. And great service. Hope I get a chance to come back.

Took a drive to Edgewater to have dinner at Coopers Tavern and boy was it worth it. When you walk in it's on the smaller side but it was open seating on this night. We were immediately seated and our server Lexi was amazing. She was super attentive and told us of the specials and told us her favorite items on the menu. Let's start with the smoked maple old fashioned. It was absolutely fantastic. Kudos to the bartender. He made a mean drink. If you ever go please get one. We had the firecracker shrimp and honey bbq boneless wings for apps. Both were very good. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and nice and crispy. The boneless wings were perfectly sauced, crispy and juicy. We also ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich, the California chicken sandwich, the surf and turf burger, and the double bacon pounder burger. When I tell you everything was seasoned perfectly, I mean EVERYTHING. Yes, that included the fries. Do yourself a favor and get to this place. You will not be disappointed!

Stopped in for a late lunch and this place did not disappoint. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We sat at the bar and Jason was very attentive and friendly without being overly there (IFYKYK). 10/10 would recommend this place. Only have pics of apps and menu. Oh, but the person next to us got one of the Mac and cheese dishes and it looked amazing.

We decided to visit early on Valentine's Day and weren't disappointed. It was crowded with families, but the staff worked as a well-oiled machine. The drinks came out quickly, and the food was presented promptly.

Last night, we went to Adam's Ribs restaurant in Edgewater with my niece and her husband. The 4 of…read moreus always have a great time together and it almost makes no difference where we go. But they had been talking about Adam's Ribs for a long time so it was nice to find out that their recommendation was absolutely true. Adam's Ribs is not fancy. You can understand absolutely every word that is on the menu. There is no arrogant snot-nosed hostess looking down her plastic surgery improved nose at you when you show up to eat without reservations. But here is what Adam's Ribs does have - absolutely real, home cooked food that is delicious, servings that are big enough to make you feel sick if you eat the whole thing and great service with a smile from a waiter who has clearly tried everything on the menu. Bottom line? I love this place and would go back there tonight if it was not 1 hour away from me. We started out with the full loaf of onion straws. OMG wonderful! The onions were so sweet, the breading was perfectly crispy and not oily at all. For an onion lover, there is nothing better than this appetizer. It is served with a Daniel Boone-sized knife to cut and, believe me, you will need it! This appetizer makes a full meal if you are alone. My main course was the 8 ounce sirloin, medium rare. I am telling you that my steak was fork tender and really flavorful. Perfectly done! I was so full that I could only eat half of the mashed potatoes & gravy (which are definitely worth the calories) and none of the spinach (which was so garlicky that many vampires died during its preparation). Perfect meal! The other main courses were the chicken breast, the full rack of baby back ribs and something called "if pigs could fly" platter - basically baby back ribs next to a mess of beautiful chicken wings. I love that! Everyone was so happy with the meal that we were waving the white flag. No need for dessert because we were all so damn full. The server was Charlie. He is an asset to Adam's Ribs. Friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients and how everything is cooked. He worked his butt off to deliver great service fast and that he did, in spades. This guy truly must love what he is doing because he is so good at his job. Bravo to Charlie! Okay, so I am reviewing the place and I have to find something negative so say. The dining room is dated, a bit sparse and there is a smell that I don't like. Mostly, I think the smell is just old restaurant. But you get used to it and, once you do, you realize that Adam's Ribs is one of the few restaurants left that serves good quality, home cooked meals with regular old fashioned American ingredients! No pretense, no airs, just great solid food that fills you up every time! I would never let some little bitty old smell get in my way for one of the great meals that I will enjoy there in the future. I recommend that you go to Adam's Ribs and you better take all your friends. You will be VERY glad you did!

All the outdoor seating was full, and inside there was only one table available. Most of the tables are larger, so we noticed some groups sharing space, which actually worked out fine. The restaurant has a great open-air feel even indoors thanks to the large garage-style door that opens up an entire wall. For drinks, my wife ordered iced tea and I had a Peach Mule. The mule was good, but next time I'd skip the rim garnish. They also have a big beer selection, and the prices seemed very reasonable. For food, we ordered the brisket burger (single patty with cheese, topped with shaved brisket, jalapeño slaw, raw onion, pickles, and sauce). They offer a deal where you can add a side and drink for $5, so we added onion rings and also ordered the Serpent Fries as an appetizer. The fries came out first and looked great and they did not disappoint. Fresh cut with bacon, pico, scallions, and a serpent sauce (seemed like a beer cheese). Really flavorful, I did ask for ranch, which was an extra $0.50. I understand charging for extras, but not everyone uses ketchup or mustard, so that felt a little unnecessary. The burger came out shortly after, and it was excellent. We split it, and it was packed with flavor. Honestly, adding bacon would make it even better a "Triple B" (Bacon, Brisket, Burger) would be perfect. The only letdown was the onion rings. The onions inside were very thin and overcooked, leaving them dried out with little flavor. Even without the over-frying, the onions themselves just didn't have much taste. Definitely something they could improve. Overall, it's a great spot for burgers and fries, and we'll definitely be back for that. We saw other dishes come out that looked good too, so there's more to try next time.

I've never had a long wait, either to order or for the food to come out, which is always appreciated. The staff has been consistently friendly, and the space itself is clean and well kept. High-top tables, good lighting, moderate noise level--everything feels in order whenever I'm there. Food-wise, Regional keeps things simple, and that's what I like about it. The Cubano sticks to the script and does it right. You really can't lose with it--good flavor, balanced, and just a solid sandwich overall. The smashburger is another no-frills win. Fresh beef, fresh ingredients, and everything complements each other without trying too hard. It's just done right. The cheesesteak isn't something I'd call a true Philly, but in a pinch it definitely holds you down. The meat is seasoned well, with onions, mushrooms, and cheese coming together for an enjoyable sandwich. I appreciate that Regional doesn't overcomplicate things. My only real critique was the roasted potato salad. I paid $3 for a cup, and while it tasted good, there was lettuce stuffed at the bottom to make it look fuller than it was. That rubbed me the wrong way, so I wouldn't order it again. Portion sizes overall are fair, prices feel reasonable, and I like that there's something for everyone on the menu. I've already been back multiple times and will continue to return. It's a good spot when you want to get away from all the fast-food options in the area.

My wife saw they had black bean soup and a pork special, so we decided to stay and were seated. Since our last visit about a year ago, they've made some changes. The seating has been updated, with a second bar added along with high-top tables and booths. The space looks very nice. Our server came over, took our drink order, and we asked for a bowl of the black bean soup. When he returned, my wife asked how the pork special was, and he said it was very good, so she ordered it. I ordered the cod fish and chips. When the food came out, everything looked good at first. Unfortunately, the fish and chips were very greasy -- it seemed like the fries were placed on the plate to soak up the grease from the fish. My wife's pork dish was worse. She was given two slices with connective tissue running through them that were so tough she couldn't even get a fork into them. The other piece was also extremely tough and difficult to cut, and the gravy had no flavor. When our server finally came back to check on us, my wife showed him the pork. His response was simply that he would let the manager know and take it off the bill. There was no offer to replace the dish or bring her something else to eat. After that, we never saw him again. My wife eventually asked another server for tea, which a different server brought. Later, another server came by to see if we were finished. I asked how much the eggnog was, and she quoted the price for a bottle, said I just want a glass, she said I'll get you a menu I explained to another waitress I just wanted a glass. Eventually, I got it -- though I asked for it without ice, and it still came with ice. At that point, I just drank it. The best thing was the bean soup. Overall, this was not a good meal and honestly the worst experience we've had in the 10+ years we've been coming here. Between the food quality and the lack of follow-up from our server, it was very disappointing. It will be quite a while before we return.
