When I received the first bill after trade in I discovered some charges I didn't expect. The bill showed that I owed $117.76 before credits. I called Consumer Cellular and talked to a very nice young man, however the young man didn't understand the bill himself so he kept putting me on hold to talk to a third party (I didn't mind holding either). After all was said and done the $60 charge for surcharges and fees was actually 2 months of easy pay plan debit. Instead of using my phone trade in credit against the remaining balance owed, they charged me two months of payments for the phone on the invoice. That is what brought the total bill before credits to $117.76. I don't know about anyone else, but when I see a charge that is before credits, I think, "Oh no! How can I pay this bill next month when there won't be any credits?" I would like for anyone with Consumer Cellular to pay attention to their bill received after the trade in credit is received. Consumer Cellular billing is extremely convoluted.

Otherwise, the request might just get "forgotten," and nothing is entered--and, to the company's advantage, you get an extra bill.

Joseph went over the Launch promotion, explaining the value of taking advantage of this promotion of $1000 off when upgrading from my iPhone 14 to the iPhone 16 during this lunch. I skied him to sketch out the comparison of the new iPhone 16 compared to staying with my iPhone 14, since getting a phone upgrade, was not the reason I came into the store. He answered all my questions and drew out things for me to see on paper. Joesph showed me why it was advantageous to take advantage of the Launch promo. He ended up signing me up for this Launch promo for the iPhone 16. He even gave me his business card, to call him, for when I get my new phone in the mail, so that i could bring it in, to get my iPhone 14 data ported to the new iPhone 16. Then of course, he worked with me to get my original purpose for the visit handled. I wanted my LAN Line phone # transferred to my AT&T account. Joseph showed me that I could add it to my existing iPhone line, as a second phone# on the same phone. He set it up for me, and showed me how to use it. I am very happy with their service that I get, whenever I visit the AT&T Store at Bridgeport Village. The employees here seem to be much better than any of the other AT&T stores in the region that have visited.

But once you're checked in, it goes pretty quick. They quoted me 10 minutes and after 20 I checked with someone and somehow I ended up off the list? Either a glitch or someone couldn't find me but whatever, I wasn't in a hurry. There's plenty of things to look at and play with. They have charging stations while you wait so I was able to charge my dying watch. They diagnosed the issue in my phone pretty quick and were able to do the repair in store right away. It took 2 hours however they are surrounded by shops and food so plenty to do while you kill time. I read a book and browsed Barnes and Noble. The repair this time didn't fix my phone issue so I had to return the next day but they ordered the part and offered to give me a loaner phone. It's nice they have this option but I didn't loan a phone so I can't rate that experience. The two employees that assisted me were great and very helpful. I felt valued and they listened to the issue instead of blowing me off like my cell phone service provider. I honestly wish I started here first because I wasted a lot of time. Next time I know to go directly to Apple because they saved the day. Hopefully there isn't a next time but if there is, I know I'll be in good hands. Parking is terrible. You might have to circle around a few times but parking and walking isn't bad either.

I was really worried because despite having Apple Care + I thought this is a several hundred dollar repair. But it was a $0 repair. $0. YES!!! Winner winner apple dinner. Glad I invested in that especially since I'm a hot mess and constantly breaking my glass. Well at least I invested in some better cases and I'm TRYING to be more careful.
