I am visually impaired, and this guy charged me for a non-existent service. Thinking my phone was broken, I took it to this guy to be examined. I returned later the same day, and he charged me $60 for what turned out to be a simple recharge of the battery. I paid $60 thinking he has repaired the charge port of my phone. My landlord showed me that in my visual fog I was simply using the wrong size charger; there had been no repair. This guy charged me $60, I paid cash, and he did not give me a receipt. He does not pay taxes, he is a straight-up thief. I wrote this same review at the time of the incident in 2021. He takes advantage of elderly blind people! read more

My iPhone 6+ needed a simple screen replacement, the price seemed reasonable ($80) but turned out to be the worst purchase, not close to OEM. Now, my phone has a blue/green-ish hue to the screen, the new screen bulges so it's not smooth and flush with the frame, and the worst part is that TOUCH ID is permanently disabled.Additionally, the owner's customer service is horrible, didn't speak a word to me and was chatting in a different language to his visiting friend. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This guy is a complete crook and "installed" a poor piece of glass that came loose after one week and cracked. We took it back and he refused to honor his 30 day guarantee. He said, "I charge you again!" Bottom line is that this guy works in a sketchy area in a fish market. STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY and either go to an Apple store or a reputable kiosk in the mall. My battery in my iPhone 6 was going out. Didn't want to get an upgrade because my phone was still in good condition other than the battery. I took it to irepair and in less than 15 min I had a replacement battery. I don't think the battery that was placed in my phone was new but for a small price my phone is back in business. I broke the camera when I was trying to get the phone back together, and they put in a new camera for me, and only charged me for the cost of the camera replacement. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DEVICES HERE!!! I came to this "shop" to repair a cracked ipad air screen based on the good reviews on yelp. As I walked into the fish market and saw his unorganized work area, my gut told me to turn around. I wish I would have listed to my gut!! From the moment we picked up the Ipad we had major concerns. The keyboard did not work at all so I took it back. He "fixed" it a second time and the keyboard still did not work. So I took it back again and managed to fix it but damaged the home button so I took it back for a third time and he sorta fixed it but it was scratched and home button not on securely. (should have demanded my money,$130, back at this time) Now 3 months later the home button is broken. Went back to store and he said that he only guarantees work for 1 month. This was not a complicated repair to begin with so I have little confidence in the fact that he knows what he is doing. I am not unreasonable and understand that he can not warrant the ipad for life, but seeing as how it was never fixed right to begin with I thought he would work with me. I am writing this review thinking if I can stop one person from going here to avoid the headaches I have experienced it would be worth it. One star for my last experience. He's replaced multiple iPhone screens for my kids phones in a matter of hours and pretty cheap. My phone on the other hand is a Samsung Galaxy 6s plus edge. Broke my screen and unusable. He said no problem he'll order a screen. 5-6 days. Ok. 8 days I go in and it's there. We'll it's a 6s screen. He's says sorry they sent the wrong one. Give him 48hrs. Ok, for proper screen. Go in after 2 days and he's helping others and starts to wave his arms as soon as he sees me. To expensive, to expensive. What? It's to expensive of a screen so if you get it online and bring it to me I'll replace for 60 bucks. Seriously? 2 weeks I waited on him and got ran around. 2 weeks no phone!! I called around and took it to a kid on Hawthorne on Friday and he called Monday morning it's ready to go. I know you get what you get when you rely on someone repairing phones behind the counter, selling frozen fish, and dungeness crabs out of the back. But, I was sadly disappointed after all the business I've brought him not to mention local kids I know from the area and get lame service. Stick to iPhone repairs i guess. I've taken my phone here twice for cracked screens (yes I am horrible with taking care of phones) and both times my phone was back to new in 15 minutes. He even knocked off $10 from the price the second time (even though the damage was even worse and the screen wasn't even working). Apple was going to charge me at $200 the first time and then wouldn't even offer to fix it the second time. Unfortunately I had the worst experience at this store . I read the reviews and wanted to go to the Mom & Pop store . I had two iPads fixed here and they cracked within 1week . When I brought them back the owner said that he could give me a discount but could not repair for free . I said that this was unacceptable as I had already paid him $240 . He said that there was nothing that he could do ! He kept saying that he could not afford to lose money in his work . I said his reputation should be the most important part of his business . I don't recall how I found him, but it must have been an internet search because his store is somewhat hidden in a strip mall. The store is actually a small Asian food market, and he performs the service onsite. My 12 year old dropped his phone and cracked the screen so I brought it in and he replaced it and we added an extra protective layer while getting it fixed. The extra layer ended up cracking after about six months, but I can't say it's because of quality, and assume it's because my son dropped it again (which he did do, multiple times). Replacing the cover was $15, so not a big deal, and I was glad the main glass wasn't broken again. If this is par for the course, I'd rather pay this guy $15 every 6 months to fix that top layer, than to pay Verizon $11 every month for a crappy protection plan that includes a $150 deductible. I didn't know about the deductible (the Verizon sales guy actually lied about it when he sold me the plan!) until I found out the hard way and immediately dropped the coverage. Anyway, I'm happy with the service that Irepair Wireless provided, and will most likely go back again, if needed. Please understand when reading my review that I'm giving 5 stars as someone that has never used such a repair service before, so I can't compare to other repair shops. read more

I dropped my unprotected iPad on a tile floor and shattered the screen. Threw a plastic cover on it to prevent glass pieces from flaking off. Called around and didn't like any of the price and down time estimates. Then, I noticed iRepair as I was driving past and checked them out on Yelp and saw the good ratings. I called for a price and got the lowest price ($99) and down time (60 minutes) estimates I'd found. I didn't need to make an appointment because they had the cover in stock. I dropped it off and, when I came back 75 minutes later, it was ready and waiting. The owner even cleaned off the old plastic protector and reattached it. The work was meticulously and quickly completed, and the owners were friendly. I'd give a sixth star if possible because of the hilarious surreal factor of getting the iPad repaired in a store that also sells seafood, lamb, and other groceries along with iPad and iPhone accessories. read more

I went to this place to have a simple broken screen replaced. The guy broke my phone so badly I now have to replace it. I have an HTC One. When I returned to pick up my phone I noticed the keys didn't work and that the side was torn up from what was obviously him trying to pry it open with a sharp object. I took it to another shop to have it looked at. They said the person who previously "worked" on it broke all of the connector pins because they didn't know what they were doing. I called Irepair and asked them to cover the costs to replace the phone. The owner of the shop began yelling at me and interrupting me saying that he "could have fixed it." You CANNOT fix broken pins on the main chip. I will be contacting the BBB about the quality of service I received and the absolute hostility from the person who claims to be a business owner.
