As a rule of thumb, it is a great deal…read more-- extending the life of a phone with a new battery or a replacement for a cracked screen is good for the pocketbook, good for the environment, and a way to reduce your own stress as you avoid having to transition to a new thing all the time. I've been using my current Samsung Galaxy for a few years, and like it. It is still performing well, and I like the size, although the battery performance was starting to wane. So I went online and bought a replacement battery (OEM) for about $10 on ebay, thinking I would just install it myself. After watching some youtube videos and trying to get the back cover off, I gave up and decided to have a pro do it. I reached out to a few different places, and the going rate was about $85 for a replacement battery installed -- but of course I already had the part! The guy here, however, was willing to install my provided part, and only charged me $45 for labor (a perfectly reasonable price, after I watched those youtube videos). The phone turned out great, and the operator of the business was friendly. I'm sure I'll be back for another repair in the future. (for those who are curious, this is in the building with Agility computers; Inside the building, there is a partition separating the iPhone repair business from the computer business)

Travis took it in and when he got the phone apart he pulled the connector off of the board. It wasn't due to his inabilities but actually the way Google (which I will never buy another phone from) designs their phones. Travis was able to solder on another connector but then realize the cable between the screen and the connector was also broken. When he went to try to get another connector (GOOGLE WON'T SELL THE CABLE) so what does Travis do? He buys me another phone. He could have so easily ripped me off here but instead of doing that, he did the right thing and the good thing for his business. I can't recommend the fix Hut enough. He then took time to come outside with me and show me how to plug my phone into my rather old sound system (you cannot use CarPlay with a cord) and how to make the nav system work so that it played directions over my car speakers without interfering with the blue tooth connection to my hearing aids. While there, he diagnosed a problem I was having with my laptop and showed me how to bring it back on line.. It was an operator error so no repair was needed and no charge was made. Walking in to a nice shop was helpful. The car battery comes with a 2 year warranty where if it won't take a charge anymore, they'll swap it. I put the battery in myself, and the core charge was easily refunded to any card you'd like. The gentleman that helped me was nice, and offered to carry the battery out for me. They also gave me access to wash my hands since I did the battery swap in the lot. I WILL use them again for fair priced batteries, car key copying, and phone repairs in the future.
