He revived our dead iPad by replacing its battery, fast and easy for only $150, despite Apple telling us nothing could be done. Even better was how nice and reassuring he was! He listened patiently to our our sad shameful confession that it wasn't backed up nor signed into an Apple ID, understood with great empathy our worry about potentially losing all the great cat pics & videos we had on it, and discussed magical ways he could extract them if we couldn't figure out how to transfer them ourselves after he fixed the battery! He was great at explaining all the steps we needed to take, without overwhelming us. That's a priceless skill! We literally left smiling and hopeful, and he texted 2 days later it was all fixed up and ready for pickup. Mission accomplished! Double praise due because he also answered questions about my inability to iCloud backup my ridiculously old iPhone 7 before I purchased a new phone! Apple had told me nothing could be done about that either. Dominic explained that I could use my son's Mac to save all files, and reassured me if they didn't download properly onto new iPhone he could use his equipment to extract whatever was missing! His gentle confidence literally dissipated years of anxiety and procrastination over getting a new phone, and guess what - I am typing this review on my shiny new iPhone 17 with everything transferred just fine! Thank you, Dominic! So, I highly recommend that you use iFix, and see Dominic. In this often confusing and intimidating new world where our lives are saved on tech gadgets that we're not trained for, you can trust him to make you feel better and cure your problems!     The whole experience with AT&T has been awful. Everyone in the PNW should be warned to stay away…read more Terrible service (network) and terrible service (customer service). Can barely get a signal all over Portland. Both T-mobile and Verizon are way better. When I signed up they added a bunch of stuff to my bill that I had to call and have removed. I never signed up for their insurance (the phone was insured with AppleCare). I finally decided to end the contract when they charged me extra every day that I was abroad though I never agreed to this and barely used my phone outside of hotel wifi. Their website said I could continue to use the phone while abroad and there was no mention of additional charges (though I'm they'll claim it was hidden on the fine print). When I switched to Verizon today I found out AT&T doesn't let you do that and that they carrier locked my phone so even though I have already left and signed up w/ Verizon, Verizon can't give me service until Tuesday because unlocking somehow takes 48 hours. Bad selection of phones too. Overpriced especially considering that it's the worst option in Portland. And this particular shop is sooooo slow. We were on there for hours while they tried to get everything to work. Geez.

Took an Uber and got there at 3:45. Took an Uber home. While waiting watched you turn away UPS telling them to come tomorrow. You raced past us on a scooter without an apology. Don't know where you were in hurry to get to. And frankly I don't care. But the complete disrespect you showed to us is unforgivable. And we have been with this company for decades!
