I had an iPhone 5 that stopped working. I took it to the main Apple Store repair area after having to wait for two days for an appointment. I explained that I had pictures that had not been downloaded due to a communication glitch between my iPhone and my Apple computer. I had precious pictures on the broken phone of my son who passed away three years ago. I explained that these pictures meant the world to me and I really hoped to retrieve them from the broken phone. They kept my phone for a week. They made me drive all the way back to Portland and charged me for an evaluation and then told me the phone was not fixable and that they had no way to retrieve my pictures. I gave up for several months but then decided to take it to Simple Tech. I was hoping that maybe, at most, they could retrieve the photos. The young man at the desk took one look at my phone and replaced the screen. He then charged the phone for a little bit and the phone has been working perfectly since. I was able to retrieve all of the precious pictures that I thought I had lost. Well done Simply Tech! You gave me a wonderful gift! I am now a huge fan and tell everyone I know that they should utilize you for any phone tech problems. Shame shame on Apple. I will never trust their tech support again. read more

We felt good making a purchase there knowing that they had run full diagnostics on the phone and warrant their products. They even took my husband's broken device, diagnosed its issue and replaced the dead battery. Even more impressive was the fact that I decided to purchase my replacement phone off of Offer Up. The technicians at Simply Tech were willing to check the phone out, ensure that nothing was owed on the device and determine if there was anything else wrong that may cause issues down the road. I want to recommend this company as they were the only one who even wanted to touch my Samsung tablet. I came is to have them check my new batter connection, even though their primary business are phones. They took the time to take it apart, undo do the connections and reconnect them, which resulted in my having my tablet back. This hardly is a high income moneymaker, but that just gives them a huge customer service rating. I appreciate their effort, and, in the meantime, learned some interesting things about phone repair. Have always been wary of used/cheap phone stores but they were very easy to work with, the prices were very competitive even with Craigslist sellers who id trust much less. Bought two phones and besides a slight hickup with one not wanting to connect to my data network that he was able to fix when i returned everything has been butter smooth. Had a recent problem with my iphone in which the Whatsapp wouldn't work. Several friends couldn't fix it so I took it to my cell phone provider. They worked on it for about 30 minutes to no avail and also deleted my Duckduckgo. Took it back to them and they wouldn't reinstall Ddgo. So took it to Simply Tech. Without making me fell like the idiot I am about this stuff, Eddie had the Whatsapp up and running in about 3 minutes and reinstalled Ddgo. This guy knows his stuff! He's now earned a loyal follower. I bought an iPhone X for $600 here last year. They were going for $1000 new at the time. I live 2 hours away and called to have him hold it. He called when I was on my way, to make sure I was still coming. Great phone, great experience. He gave me a receipt with a 14 day warranty. Wasted 10 minutes to even locate this place. And when i finally came in, the guy quoted me $199 for an iphone 6 replacement. When the phone is worth $80. The guy wasn't even being polite, made me feel like i was an idiot. Hard to find, expensive and poor customer service. Never again i will even think about coming here. read more
