I brought it back for service under the store one-year repaired product warranty. From the start, the employee was dismissive and refused to honor the warranty, claiming the phone had physical damage and looked like it had been dropped. However, the bezel, display, and back were in pristine condition--no cracks, dents, or scratches whatsoever. No signs of dropping or damage. I asked him to point out the alleged damage, but he refused and just kept repeating that it was "damaged" and would not be repaired under warranty. I then spoke with the manager, who admitted there was in fact no physical damage, but still refused service claiming that screen bleed itself is considered physical damage. When I asked how they could determine the cause without running diagnostics, he simply informed me thats their policy. I requested to see where in the warranty terms it said that screen bleed is excluded, and he admitted he hadn't seen the terms in a long time and that I'd have to go online to find them myself. I took my phone to another nearby uBreakiFix location, where they fixed it immediately--no questions asked. This store's inconsistent warranty policies, lack of transparency, and unwillingness to stand behind their own repairs make it a place I would not trust again. While they did fine with the initial manufacturer warranty repair, it seemed they'd say anything to get out a store warranty repair. I can not recommend this location because they don't seem to care about customer support or honoring their commitments.

I'll be honest, I'm kinda cheap. I don't do tons of video work or gaming, so don't need the latest/greatest... so forever I've been buying cheap laptos. I found this place through craigslist and got a great reconditioned unlocked phone for $100 which they helped me, in-store transfer my Verizon service to since I had a SIM card, so I KNEW it all worked great before leaving the store. They were even MUCH better than dealing with the actual Verizon store, because they actually knew in and out EXACTLY what they were doing. They had nice laptops at great deals too, so a while later when mine stopped working went to look at one they had advertised. It was a great deal, but it was a tablet w/ a keyboard which I'm not looking for. They just don't do too well staying right on your actual lap. So they hooked me up w/ a great deal on a Samsung S-book that retailed for $1,400.00 new 2 years ago, still around a thousand new today... for $380.00 cash! :) Plus, it's Verizon compatible, so can take a SIM card to add 15 gigs of BUILT-IN internet at full speed for $10.00 a month.... Add that to being able to tether another 15 gigs from my phone, and I pretty much have mobile computer internet wherever Verizon can reach. I absolutely LOVE these guys. Years ago I started a business trying to help the little guy have something nice. These kids seem to have the same idea. I'd have NEVER spent the money to get a really nice machine new from a box store, but this is just as great. The best part though, is the customer service. These guys REALLY know their products, and if the owner isn't 100% positive on something... his tech-guy he has in the back will know. Far cry from the hacks you'll find at Best-Buy or other box-stores who know absolutely nothing about anything and seem to be annoyed with having to actually speak to a customer. For those of us who remember what Customer Service USED to be like before the "F-you, deal with it" mentality took over everywhere, this is really a cool throwback to days when you had much more pleasant and fulfilling purchasing experiences. Only warning I may put out there, is they're only a 2 man operation, so it seems like they take their lunch at the same time which is smart these days, not just leaving one person alone in a high-tech shop. So maybe call first if going mid-day to see when they'll be closing to taking their 30 min lunch. If you arrive and they're on lunch, there's a lot to do around while you wait. I HIGHLY recommend these kids from what I've seen so far.

My partner had to go to AT&T for something so I thought "Great I'll get that eSim - Qrcode while I'm with her. So while she's there I ask the clerk: can I get an eSim - QRCode while I'm here. and without another word he opens up the safe in the back pulls two out and hands them to me. Easy-Peasy. Why can't all AT&T (and other providers) store fronts be as good? Then again: I'm not sure I want to bother with it since they don't have a really inexpensive prepaid data only plan that I can use as a fall back to my non-AT&T service on my eSim capable phone.

They accidentally tore the wire to the facial ID camera. My fiancé goes to pick up her phone and they feed her with lies on why her facial ID doesn't work. "It's normal" & "that's what happens". Then they try to charge the full amount to fix the back camera. We refused to pay the full amount as they didn't fix the phone, but made it worse. We paid $60. Follow up to the next day: He calls my fiancé on his personal phone to tell her he lied about why the camera wasn't working. He admits to accidentally tearing the wire and that's why the camera won't work. He then offers to refund the $60 out of his pocket. He then proceeds to tell us he can fix the front camera but he's going to charge us $190. HE BROKE THE FRONT CAMERA. Why are we being charged to fix the phone HE BROKE. It makes me wonder why they were getting into the front camera of her phone, and what they might be doing with parts! AVOID AT ALL COST!! COMPLETE SCAMMERS!! AWFUL EMPLOYEES/CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I needed a new charging port and I also got the cover for the charging port. They had a reasonable price and convenient location. Their repair guy was only there part time. At first they said they had to order it. I waited a week, then the repair guy said he had the part, I came by and he said, nope it won't work. Then they said they had to order the part after all. A little confusing, but once the part came they fixed it in about 30 minutes. More recently I ended up getting my phone wet and for some reason the new charging port cover did not work as well as the original one and the phone got wet inside, but over-all I'm a happy customer.
