I told him I didnt really need it for another 60 days or so, he told me the offer may not be around so I accepted it. Well, the paperwork had $10, he ensured me he just had to make a call to let them know it was a Verizon watch (I had just replaced my other sons watch) and it would make the credit $150. I told him I trusted him that he was being forthcoming and told him I wanted to wait for him to make the call. He acted like he did, leaving and coming back telling me I was all set, and the credit would show on the 2nd billing cycle. Well, it's never shown up, and on top of that Verizon charged me 300% more for the BS fees for a 19 day pro-rated month. 3 watches on the account, one has $1.79 fee, this one, $5.49. This was the case for all the different fees. So, the managers lies cost me $140 in credits for the watch, 2 months worth of service at $20 or so each, and Verizons rip off pro-rated fees for a total of $200 in added costs. They have told me 3 times they are making it right, but that doesn't happen.

All I needed to do was upgrade my phone and purchase a new one. The girl helped me as much as she could while serving every other customer at the same time. She was so kind. An hour after my authorized user arrived we finally got help only to have issues because she did not have her id on hand. When I received the first bill after trade in I discovered some charges I didn't expect. The bill showed that I owed $117.76 before credits. I called Consumer Cellular and talked to a very nice young man, however the young man didn't understand the bill himself so he kept putting me on hold to talk to a third party (I didn't mind holding either). After all was said and done the $60 charge for surcharges and fees was actually 2 months of easy pay plan debit. Instead of using my phone trade in credit against the remaining balance owed, they charged me two months of payments for the phone on the invoice. That is what brought the total bill before credits to $117.76. I don't know about anyone else, but when I see a charge that is before credits, I think, "Oh no! How can I pay this bill next month when there won't be any credits?" I would like for anyone with Consumer Cellular to pay attention to their bill received after the trade in credit is received. Consumer Cellular billing is extremely convoluted.

These guys cut discounts for leaving 5 star reviews on social media web sites and have a no return policy. In addition the phone cases are trash and the employees get rated on sales per customer. And they charge $35 for phone glass when they cost $3 anywhere else, then charge you $5 after you pay $35 to replace it when the glass brakes!? Also I've physically witnessed adult employees 25+ in age flirt with 16 year old customers and try to get their numbers. I'd never recommend LIVIT to friends, family, or loved ones. It's a shop run by liars and perverts, and it makes me sick when I have to see it in the mall when I'm out with my family. read more

I was told they would check for software issues first, and if no software issues, they would check the screen itself and switch it out. I paid $130 upfront for the screen replacement and was told I would be refunded if it is a software issue. I was later told it was not a software issue. The repair took about an hour. I took the phone home only to find out that the touchscreen was only partially working. I could scroll, but after 30 seconds or so, the screen would freeze again. What I realized is that they never asked for the password so they could test the screen to make sure it was fully working. I called CPR and was told the screen is under warranty and I should bring it back in. I was also told that the component that controls the touchscreen could be damaged and in that case, there's not a way to replace that. I was a bit frustrated as this should have been explained to me when I first dropped off the phone. They were booked for the rest of the day and said they would have time the next day. The next morning, I made an appointment, took the phone in, and was helped immediately. About an hour and a half later, I had the phone back. I checked to ensure it was working before I left and it appeared the touchscreen was fully working. I was again told that if the screen isn't working, to bring it back in and they would take another look at it. Overall, my experience was pretty positive. My only constructive feedback is that they should fully explain things before the service/repairs start.

Quite possibly the worst experience I've had with a business at any point of my 33 years on this…read moreearth. My partner dropped my phone off on a Friday - they requested $370 up front. This was supposedly to fix the back glass and screen that had broken after tripping with my phone in my hand. Had I been there myself, I probably would've laughed on my way out the door, as at this point my 2 year old iPhone could probably be replaced for that much or less. But unfortunately I had no phone, and so she made the decision to move forward with this transaction. They told me they would overnight the parts and hopefully have the phone fixed by early the following week. Tuesday the following week they called to inform me that the antenna had been damaged and they were unsure of whether or not they could fix the phone, but that they'd get back to me within a couple of days when they had more information. After not receiving a call, I decided to call myself that Friday to figure out what they were doing with my phone and $370 for the past week. I was told that the phone was being sent to a micro-soldering technician to have the antenna repaired and that the phone would hopefully be ready by the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Once again, Tues and Weds came and went, and I heard nothing from CPR about the status of my phone. On that Thursday, roughly 2 weeks after coughing up $370 and my phone, I called again and was transferred to the owner of the business. Aj, the owner, basically gave me an ultimatum by saying I could either wait an indeterminate amount of time for them to try and track down the parts required to fix the phone, in addition to actually fixing it. Or, I could come pick the phone up and have the "majority" of my money refunded - which turned out to be $200, or about 59% of the $370 I paid up front. This business charged me $170 to lie, mislead, and miscommunicate what was actually being done with my phone and my money. They literally handed me back my phone in the same condition it was in 2 weeks before I brought it in, charged me $170, and apologized for their incredibly poor communication throughout the process. Zero consideration for the time and money I lost tying up my $370 and having no phone for the 2 weeks they had it. I'm now out $170, in addition to having to buy a new phone. If I could back charge this I absolutely would, and will likely contact my bank and whoever else I can to see what I can do to dispute this.

So I went online and bought a replacement battery (OEM) for about $10 on ebay, thinking I would just install it myself.
