LIARS LIARS LIARS The manager of the store told me if I activated my son's watch today, he had a $150 credit he would apply. It would come in the form of $10 per month for 15 months. I told him I didnt really need it for another 60 days or so, he told me the offer may not be around so I accepted it. Well, the paperwork had $10, he ensured me he just had to make a call to let them know it was a Verizon watch (I had just replaced my other sons watch) and it would make the credit $150. I told him I trusted him that he was being forthcoming and told him I wanted to wait for him to make the call. He acted like he did, leaving and coming back telling me I was all set, and the credit would show on the 2nd billing cycle. Well, it's never shown up, and on top of that Verizon charged me 300% more for the BS fees for a 19 day pro-rated month. 3 watches on the account, one has $1.79 fee, this one, $5.49. This was the case for all the different fees. So, the managers lies cost me $140 in credits for the watch, 2 months worth of service at $20 or so each, and Verizons rip off pro-rated fees for a total of $200 in added costs. They have told me 3 times they are making it right, but that doesn't happen. read more

I appreciate the response. Still only 1 bar of LTE service , calls dropping all of the time(even calls from Verizon). I called Tier 2 service a week ago and they sent a message saying that they are still "working" on the problem. It would be nice to know who to talk to. read more

This is definitely one of those times where I should have listened to the reviews and tips on Yelp before choosing to visit the store! I stopped in right before opening and there was a line. The guy who came out to greet the eight people in line outside was friendly and welcoming. When we all walked in the store there were plenty of sales people to help each person waiting in line. After that everything went downhill. The sales person that helped me was Jeff. He didn't seem real eager to help me with my current phone problem (needed new battery as the current one works, but started bulging about 8 months ago), he was far more interested in selling me a new $600 phone...which he said was the cheapest phone available for my needs (decent camera for picture taking). He kept pushing cheap monthly payment plans but I told him from the beginning, when I walked in, that I was not interested in buying a new phone. I have only had my phone for a year, and the phone brand itself is only about 2 to 3 years old. Anyhow, I ended up telling him that I would do further research online regarding what phones are available to me as I have never bought a phone in a Verizon store...all of my past phones have been purchased online. Overall, I was extremely disappointed in the unfriendly customer service. I didn't feel like they were trying to make ME happy, they were only interested in making a large sale. I am a loyal Verizon customer. I have been a customer for over 25 years, and have only used Verizon as a carrier. This whole experience has made me question that. I may need to branch out and see what else is available to me as cell phone carriers have been around for quite a few years now and I know they've become quite competitive with plans and pricing. read more

1. The "local" number doesn't get answered by the store. 2. Every time I've gone in - it's at least a 45 minute wait. Sometimes 1-2 hours - so I leave. 3. No "Curbside" delivery. You actually walk up to the door & then they are notified. No electronic way to notify them from your car. So, you are already at the door. It's "sidewalk" delivery - if anyone comes out in the first place. But you STILL have to wait your turn because everyone inside has taken a number or has an appointment. Overall, Verizon is not customer convenience focused at all - but most cellular stores are not. There's competition - but only in terms of who has the "lowest" fees and best "deals" on a new phone. read more

I went to our local Verizon store to ask for assistance/info on how to resolve an issue with the lightning jack on my iPhone. The representative took a quick look at my phone - maybe 2 minutes - and said take it next door to Fixoid and maybe they could help me. I basically feel like since I wasn't going to upgrade my phone I wasn't worth going "above and beyond". Well, Fixoid DID fix my phone, and I got so much better service from them that I really am questioning how much our family needs Verizon. I'll give Verizon 2 stars since they DID tell me someone who would ultimately solve my problem. read more

I heard this guy at the branch is one of the managers, (not sure if he is manager) so he tries to get people to leave by telling them that that service is done only by phone. I just wanted to pick up my two phones for an upgrade and the attitude was go home and do this yourself after I declined him pushing me to buy phone bundles. There was an issue with the phone activations so I had to return to the store. It turned out that the SIM cards were installed in the incorrect phones but then I was accused of switching them. ?? We have been Verizon customers for almost 10 years. We went in last night to upgrade one of our lines which had an available upgrade on for almost 2 years. Got some of the worst customer service ever. And I am leaving a review now for this after a string of bad customer service for about the last year. I do not know what is going on with Verizon lately. The rep, who didnt introduce himself, maybe Brad based on what it said on his iPad couldnt care less whether we got something or not. He would not answer any specific questions about the phones we were looking at. He did not make eye contact. He kept talking to his buddy that was getting off his shift about how they are going to meet up later that night as we were asking questions. We wanted to compare a few models of the same phone to each other to which all he said was that one phone was like buying a $200 laptop and the other a $1200 laptop. How does that help? It says nothing about the features, battery life, camera quality, etc. We walked out really frustrated and not getting an upgrade. read more

I usually don't leave bad reviews, but I had a super complicated situation that I really needed help getting sorted out and was extremely bothered and disappointed with my experience at this store. Beforehand, I had tried calling customer service to fix the problem with my account and after being transferred 5 times, hung up on, and in total on the phone for 2 hours I decided to just go into a store, desperate for someone to help me fix this mess I had going on! The moment I had my first interaction with the woman checking people in I already felt discouraged. She looked annoyed just by the presence of myself and my in-laws. She was short with us, and didn't even smile once. (We had my sweet cute baby daughter dressed up as a pumpkin with us, how can you not smile at a baby in a pumpkin costume?!) She checked us in and then she ended up being the one who "helped" us. My father in law tried to explain to her the situation and she was barely looking him in the eye while clicking around on her iPad with her candy corn Halloween nails. She didn't even in the slightest look like she cared or wanted to help us. Really, she couldn't have looked more uninterested. She gave us a piece of paper with another customer service line to call and that's it. We stayed in the store while we called, thankfully they did get it sorted out for us over the phone. We were in there for a good 30 minutes or more and nobody checked on us, asked if things were going alright.. nothing. (They weren't busy) As we were leaving, my father in law said to the same woman "Thanks for letting us hang out in here!" which she didn't even respond to, just gave him a nod with no smile or even a hint of friendliness. How hard is it to just be nice? I feel that we should have been listened to better, empathized with a bit, or at the least been treated with a little more hospitality. I think the employee that helped us needs a refresher course on customer service or just decent human politeness. read more

I went into this store for a new charger while I was there the sales person who was helping us asked if there was anything else he could assist with. I had been having billing problems that I had been dealing with the Verizon call center on for a period of about months. I really did not think they were going to be able to help me since most stores will direct you back to customer service but I figures what the hell and I told him of all our troubles. Waalaa the employee not only gave me a great deal on my charger but he also fixed all my billing problems. While in the store, all the available employees told me about new products that were available in my (very rural) area. I signed up for the home fusion so now I have high speed internet in my home that actually works!! A phone is a phone and I can get that anywhere so to me customer service is what I am looking for. The employees at this store are most excellent in their customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure all my concerns were taken care of before I left the store. They even fixed problems I did not know they could. I have read negative reviews on other sites about this store. People complaining about the employees not getting their phone's battery to charge and stuff like that, but to me that is a phone problem not a customer service problem. I am positive that the employees at this Verizon store or any other store did not manufacture the phone so in my opinion a negative review is uncalled for. I have been with Verizon for over a decade. I purchased an iPad for my son on 6/24/17. Once we took it home we decided it wasn't a good fit for him. I was told I had 30 days to return it. Fast forward to 7/24/17, I enter the store to return the iPad. Becca promptly tells me no, it's a 14 day policy even though I have the conversation from Verizon support stating it was 30 days. Then they start back peddling real quick. I raise somewhat of a fuss and they pull up the chat as well, and say well it's over 30 days anyways so no. Umm. What? It's been a month. So if I returned it yesterday I would have been fine? Yes they say. How absurd is it that we're off by one freaking day and you won't return and perfectly good iPad. I'm baffled my the lack of professionalism and just the amount of attitude becca and Jason gave me like I'm some scum. I've been with Verizon since I was 16 years old! What a shameful way to treat their loyal customers. I took my business to another provider right after I left that store. So. Becca and Jason you cost Verizon a long standing customer over a day. This was not a nice experience. First of all, after the latest update, a lot of phones have been experiencing problems. I drove to my local store, this diaper dump, for tech support. When I get there, it's 40 degrees, and the people outside waiting was a 60 year old man and an 80 year old woman. After 15 minutes, that was enough. I went inside, and loudly inquired was there any help??? There was one rude man, Matt, the one who THINKS he's a tough guy. He yelled across the store that everyone was helping someone, I only saw 1 person one the floor. Maybe Verizon needs to stop cutting back on the labor. Matt charged up to me, and told me "Get Out".. I informed him about those waiting, he didn't care. I left. However, I have been a customer for 20+Years. The stars are misleading, but wasn't sure what to put. My mother, a senior citizen, went into the store yesterday, and had a terrible experience with Devin. He was condescending, unhelpful, and refused to help her to the extent she needed (and, given that I am a Verizon customer as well, so I know what they can do, in ways that were completely doable). Devin gets zero stars. Today, I called and spoke to the manager, Daniel, who listened to my complaint, and expressed understanding and concern. He told me to send my mother directly to him in the future and promised to help her with anything she needs. She hasn't done this yet, but after speaking with him, I am reasonably sure he will help her respectfully and to the extent she needs. Daniel gets 5 stars for over the phone help and compassion and the promise of in person assistance when needed. Thank you Daniel. I am glad my mother, who lives three hours away, can come to you when she needs help with her iPhone. read more

I called Verizon's warranty center today and found out that if you even have a scratch on you phone the warranty doesn't cover anything! This was after talking to one of their techs that went through my phone because it had occasionally told me there was moisture in the charging cable. She went into my phone and found that there was an error in my USB program and fixed it and told me that if it wasn't fixed it would have eventually fried my phone. My grandson's phone had the same issue only much worse than mine and his phone fried. But since it has some scratches on it its not covered by the warranty! read more

Experienced the issue with my 1-mo old S5 where the phone tells you that you're using the wrong charger (even if you're using the right charger) and won't charge phone to "prevent damage". Slightly Snarky Devin was really firm that the problem was "google's fault" due to the recent marshmallow update (even though the phone had worked/charged properly for a week since the update). I don't get updates from Google. I get them from Verizon. SS Devin said the only thing I could do to solve the problem was back up, wipe and restore. Did this and no change - what I expected. Fortunately got a great Chicagoland-based Verizon phone support rep who walked me through checks to confirm that it was a hardware problem and arranged to send me a replacement phone. I'd give her 5 stars. read more

I was blown away by the childish service I received. I understand salespeople are pushy (and I'd gone in prepared) but the gentleman who helped me talked down to me like I was a moron (I'm a young woman, easily mistaken for a high school student and he talked to me like one). I went in to upgrade me phone, and was unclear about how the new monthly payment plan worked. He was trying to explain it to me and writing things down very quickly and when I didn't get it he looked at me and said "are you even listening?". If I had half a backbone I would have walked out of the store right then, He then tried to sell me on a phone case, which again, I understand but when I declined multiple times, because I actually already had purchased one, he tried telling me that 90% of people who don't buy one in the store come back and have broken their phone. I call bull. I spent a lot of money and to be treated like an uneducated moron was very dissatisfying. I've never had a poor experience with Verizon in the past, or even this store but this guy is enough to make me not want to come back. That behavior should not be allowed. I bought a Google phone from Verizon 3 years ago. They hid the price in the monthly bill, it was over $600. The battery died, the two repair guys that I talked to said it would cost over $200 to replace the battery since they had to break the screen to get to the inside. I bought a new phone at Walmart for $80 (also disposable). I went to cancel the verizon account, was on hold for an hour before I gave up. On their online chat, they refer you to a secure link, $1 "refundable" to fill out a form. The people at the store only sell phones, they wont help with repair or your account, a real "don't give a shit" attitude. Everything is done online, you have to have an online account set up. There is no calling them or talking to their in-store people. Since I will have to do everything myself, I will do Walmart from now on. The monthly bill dropped from $83 to $45 per month. I thought I had found the worst people to work with at Comcast, appearently Verizon has adoped their model. Zero points and may God have mercy on thier souls. read more

This store has the worst customer service. I should clarify that it seems I always get the salespeople that are not helpful. I left Verizon a few years back because of a poor salesperson. Alas, I came back because I really do like the actual service. I did go to another store first, and they were a dream. New store in Orchards rocks!!!! Referred me to the Vancouver Plaza store for the issue I was having. Bethany never smiled! Never smiled, nor said I'm sorry I can't help you. Just kept saying NO! went into the store to 1) have my phone service switched from Sprint to Verizon on an established business account that does thousands of dollars worth of business with Verizon every year and a substantial monthly payment for employee services. I went in with the CEO of the company and 2) to purchase a new i-Phone 12. Everything was fine until the CEO paid for the phone as well. We were told I'd get $300 for my i-Phone 10 and he was to get a $150 credit for brining in a Sprint customer. He paid with his business credit card and then we were told the $300 had to be credited to his account monthly. Okay...then, we were told, no...couldn't do that either and there was no $150 credit after all. Because this was told after the new phone had been paid for, everything had to be re-done...after another hour of nobody knowing how to do this, I told them not to add the phone and that I'd use my old phone. However, my old phone now did not work and the manager told us to go to Sprint to get it working again. This caused a heated exchange as we still wanted to switch service to Verizon... still told to go to Sprint first. Amazing incompetence and rudeness from the manager. All around bad service and then, the kicker...the manager called the police on us for being "rude" to him. Incredible! After the years of Verizon service the CEO has done with his business and to be treated like that. The manager needs to be either fired (my recommendation) or trained in customer service. He needs a new job where he is not around the public. Not a good experience! Avoid this particular store if you are looking for experience and customer service! read more

Ive been with verizon for many years. I work part time due to disabilities. Summers Im off work. I have severe arthritis n do not have fine motor skill. I am low income, purchased a plastic screen protector for cell at walmart ten dollars. I drove two trips to verizon store, 9am they did not open till 10am so I drive back employee refused to help me less I bought my screen protectors from them they charge like 35.00 for 3. I cant afford this. So I put mine in wrong side. Reversed it but its already damaged. If they would lower their prices on the elderly n disabled. It would be a good business practise. He saud incase he breaks it. Id sign a waiver. Please bring back old fashioned Customer service skills like caring n empathy for low income n disabled, elderly. Shame on you. read more

I'd give no stars if I could. We were pulled over to some chick at the first counter who was just so rude. Didn't introduce herself, and honestly didn't even make it seem like my problem mattered. The volume on my phone is going out. Therefore you can't hear the other persons voice when they call you, unless you put it on speakerphone. Which is annoying. So she called some number, and listened to it and told me "sounds fine to me". I listened to it and said yea. In a place that isn't all that loud, you can somewhat hear. Now in other loud places I.e. the grocery store, you can't hear anything but a whisper. She honestly didn't even care. Offered nothing to try. I have insurance on the phone and a warranty and didn't offer to replace it. Or do anything for that matter. The guy in India, who was giving tech support was more helpful, and nicer then this lady. I'm sick and tired of paying the high prices for Verizon but getting horrible customer service. If I were rude at my customer service job I'd be fired. So why do these people at this store get to be so damn rude, and unhelpful and still get to keep theirs? read more

I came in to do some research to help solidify my decision on getting the Samsung galaxy s5 or the Note 4. I walked into a very crowded and chaotic looking store fully expecting a long wait. I gave the greeter my info and she did not give me an expected wait time which made me even more nervous. I walked over to the Note 3 on the counter to see what the size might feel like in my hand(as the Note 4 was not released yet. Maybe a total wait time of a minute and a half and Josh calls my name. I was completely taken by surprise. Josh gave me some really solid advice and also advised to wait until the Note actually launches as I might really want it. He then also told me where other stores have it on display so I can check it out. If I'm in town during release I will definitely be talking to Josh for a follow-up. He really gained my trust. read more

I have gone here a couple of times and luckily, so far so good. I was a little disappointed that my phone had to be sent to me after needing a replacement after only 6 months. My phone went out late Thursday so I can't get a replacement until hopefully Monday. Also, during my last visit, the poor girl next to me was receiving the worst customer service! This girl, Jesse, was unbelievably rude! It seemed that she was closing a deal, brought out 3 phones, slammed them down and asked her to pick one. After the girl chooses her phone she tells her it will be 30 plus the tax on the phone, "do you have that?" Jesse rudely asks. The girl says her dad is paying n they get him on the phone. She is consistently rude wit the dad saying "it doesn't work that way" about paying over the phone then hang up on him n callously walks off wit the phones, hacking up a lung all the way to the back room. My husband's 4 year old phone broke so we came in to purchase a replacement phone. A very friendly worker started to help us and then a guy named Devin interrupted him telling him "he's got this." His attitude quickly turned condescending when we told him that we were looking for a $10-15 per month phone. He informed us that we were downgrading and buying a piece of crap phone that Verizon won't even put out on display because they're so bad. I've been with Verizon for 14 years and never had an experience like this. He made us feel like we were wasting his time because he wasn't going to get as much commission out of us. He was so rude that we left this store and went to a different verizon to complete our sale. We told him we were going to go to a different verizon to purchase the phone and he said "the prices are the same everywhere." It wasn't about the money, at that point we just didn't want him getting any credit for our sale. After reading yelp and google reviews I am surprised he still works there. read more

This location trains their sales reps to scam people. They are incentivized to sell accessories so they hard sell their customers. I was excplicity told they were "throwing in" accessories when I purchased a phone since I wasn't due for an upgrade. Come to find the cost of them was thrown into my monthly billing plan, completely unbeknown and undisclosed to me. I discovered it months later when I received an email saying my balance owed was almost paid up. Which I have never had a balance with Verizon. What the sales rep had done without my consent is lower my monthly charge to offset the monthly cost of these accessories of which I didn't even really need or care for, but totaled close to $300. I own a sales related business and this is certainly not how I would ever conduct business with my customers. When I called corporate, all they could tell me is this is a known problem with certain locations but didn't seem the slightest bothered or concerned. Buyer beware, I will never return back. read more
